I enjoy using this application to learn Java but the lessons are most often really complex learning parts paired with extremely simple quiz questions in between that even someone who didn t read the lesson could likely answer simply because it gives the answer in the question Additionally if you accidentally attempt to type on the quiz questions that are actually fill in the blank the app will crash It ll still keep the progress but it s more bothersome than anything All around it s a useful app for learning code I just have some personal issues with the style and some annoyance with the crashing Generally Useful but Some Technical Lesson Issues Soboses

This is a great free app for just covering the Java basics I like the interactive learning Great tutorial app

I want learn the Java Pro but I cant understand what they say in the videos I need the closed caption or subtitles for better understanding in the videos Not have CC neither subtitles

Ill avoid calling out the typos Oops Almost Cant get far in the tutorial when it wont accept ANY answer in the variables section lesson 9 The answer is simple but it wont accept it Or any of the other answers Frustrating I got to section 2 but my progress was lost and I had to start again at the beginning Logging in provides no benefit as no points are recorded And you cant use earned points unless youre signed in Even as a beginning programmer I would likely catch these mistakes Someone slacked in the test process Two stars because the info is there so far and its free Hope they fix it soon Needs work

Dont normally write a lot of reviews but I really enjoy this app Might not be the most by the books perfect way of doing everything but they make it easy to follow they make it very clear when you should just see how they do something vs when you need to know something Always room to improve but overall very solid so far Not extremely far into the course but have learned a good bit so far I have no formal computer programming background so starting from scratch its in small enough bites to comprehend Learn at your own pace Very informal and modular

All the topics covered are great and the app is wonderful but the actual videos themselves lack in quality They dont all match each other and many of the teachers dont use proper programming conventions Great app but videos lack quality

If I can o this anybody can I highly recommend it Awesome

I like this app I like how its videos are broken apart and how there are relevant questions after each one The questions can be answered quickly enough to move on to next video with little time in between While I think the current lessons are great there needs to be more difficult quizzes to test the users knowledge after finishing the current lessons Also there needs to be newer videos that show the user how to make an entire Java program A great app but needs more content

I am comfortable with some other programming languages but recently found myself needing to use Java for a number of work projects This app allowed me to quickly pick up the basics and start contributing on the projects in a short time The lessons are easy to follow and contain some good humor to keep you engaged I would recommend this app to others in similar situations Great app learned a lot

Previously I learned C in a college class This app has made that transition into JAVA smoooooooth Seriously love this app holy crap this is good

This is a great training course for beginning Java However the last two courses needs a little work Some of the sessions dont expand enough and some of the sessions start in the middle of a more in depth class Wonderful training app

At start I found the app great But closer to the end quality explanations dramatically drops down For example its hard to understand Array section if you dont read any Java book at the same time At the beginning
