How to learn to understand the world - a question that has an answer How can children learn a foreign language within half a year? And why does a regular person spend years of difficult studies ...
Please make 64bit build of this app to make it compatible with iOS11                     iOS compatibility SergeyMir
This app has been wonderful I have been using this app for years now The Hebrew pronunciation wonderful A couple of suggestions Anyway to add some lessons in between The first few lessons are perfect but then it takes some big jumps that are not as easy to follow Another suggestion would be to update some of the photos For instance it is hard to see if one of the children is running or walking Overall a fantastic app and keep up the good work                     Love your app Bielikov
There are only a couple mistakes that I have found the reviewer above goes into perfect detail It s makes learning more confusing than it needs to be Other than that issue this app is great It moves a bit fast as I am a beginner but I am catching on                 Great app But please fix mistakes Ishkas
It would be awesome to get those few mistakes fixed with spelling and punctuation that another reviewer already mentioned Other than that this app works just like Rosetta Stone                 Excellent app but few mistakes Wisgtgere
I have used this app for about two weeks while in Israel I ve found it very useful for stepping through some basic words and conversation patterns The review above is correct sometimes meaning patterns are ambiguous they may be wrong too I don t know enough written Hebrew to know In part that s because learning language this way involves ambiguities You are given a visual situation and then have to puzzle it out a little bit The first time you will probably lose some points that s ok you re learning not playing a game This is a particular problem with verbs especially infinitives which almost all begin with the consonant L lamed in Hebrew and so are hard to get at first Still this has been one of the most useful of four app based programs I have used                 Good app Some issues PubRadio fan
I really like this app as a whole I m glad to have an easy and convenient way to brush up on my Hebrew after a long absence But there are a lot of inconsistencies of punctuation and even of spelling Giraffe randomly changes partway through the lesson from to Why it changes from using zayin to gimmel is beyond me especially halfway through lesson one And isn t remotely close to what is being said Possibly Not sure but it s wrong What is said and what is written are not the same And the punctuation for a given sentence structure can change without warning Which is very confusing Is the fish flying No it is swimming Then suddenly it changes to No It is swimming Choose one clause it separate sentence don t go back and forth and take points off because I couldn t guess you decided to change it up on me Please fix these             Inconsistency Tyledras
I agree The words could be a but bigger But I ve never encountered a better app for learning Hebrew Somehow the lack of translation forces your brain to reorganize After 3 years of iPhone ownership it s the only app I ve actually paid for                     Love it Skatesofgold
The pictures some are Torahless some immodest some ok If you are an Israelite you will not be able to stand some of the images What a disappointment I uninstalled the app     Torah less pictures EliYahu22
I have tried multiple websites and apps for learning Hebrew and I have had the most success with this one It isn t the best for grammar but it is great for vocabulary and pronunciation Its uses images plus voices and reading to teach you This makes it very good for visual learners like myself I would definitely recommend this app It is worth buying the full version                     Best Hebrew app I have found Kloosty87
I learned aleph bet on my own tried many other apps I was a bit skeptical but after downloading free version I set down one evening and gave it a try The result was nothing short of a miracle My mind intuitively kept leading me to enlightenment almost like a Eureka moment in every module I quickly was quickly grasping the meaning of pictures and people objects actions depicted I was progressing so rapidly that I stared questioning the wisdom of my pace The next morning I bought the full version for 2 99 which is truly a great bargain considering that Rosetta Stone which uses the same methodology as my son tells me costs hundreds of dollars My gratitude goes to the creators of this great app                     Truly Amazing Sunshine4all
At first I was confused about what the pictures were of Was I saying girl or run But by lesson 2 you realize what things are slowly just by going with it This means you aren t translating the words just mean something I did learn the aleph bet before doing this and that was helpful to follow along with the words My only complaint is the small words that s what kept me from giving it 6 stars well that and there are only 5 stars                     Awesome Duften
This is a terrific app I used the free version for several months and then finally bought the full version I am very pleased with the content but I would like to see larger printing for the Hebrew words It helps someone with no Hebrew knowledge to learn the way children acquire language Pictures and speech vocabulary and grammar                     Language acquisition Etta_Sioux
Great app I tried the free version first and thought I was doing something wrong when I didn t see the words translated in English then I read how it works It amazed me how it teaches you Hebrew like a child would learn any language My only negative is the half clothed young ladies for some of the pictures I don t let the kids use this app                 The fish Thee fish
I started at ground ZERO with this app knowing NO Hebrew I am only on lesson 7 I love that there are no translations It means my brain doesn t waste time translating when often direct translations only muddy the waters of understanding the true meaning Each lesson starts off with 6pics They each 1x1 fill the screen as you hear an audio clip Then the audio clips are played back 1x1 you select the pic that goes with Then a new set of 6 pics The learning happens thru clever picture comparisons Imagine a mother pointing at a fire saying Hot Then at Ice and saying COLD Then a cup of tea steaming HOT Tea then a glass of milk COLD Milk After seven lesson I feel I ve solidly learned at least 30 words that I can pick out of sentences I ve even noticed a few written words bc they flash up on the introduction phrase of the 6 pictures at a time This style of learning is much like a game Great space filler for all those times you d otherwise check FB 7x in 3 minutes even tho there s nothing new Happy learning                 Learning to speak like a Toddler Tovwhite7819

I really like this app as a whole Im glad to have an easy and convenient way to brush up on my Hebrew after a long absence But there are a lot of inconsistencies of punctuation and even of spelling Giraffe randomly changes partway through the lesson from זירפה to גירפה Why it changes from using zayin to gimmel is beyond me especially halfway through lesson one And צלחת עפה isnt remotely close to what is being said Possibly מונחת Not sure but its wrong What is said and what is written are not the same And the punctuation for a given sentence structure can change without warning Which is very confusing Is the fish flying No it is swimming Then suddenly it changes to No It is swimming Choose one clause it separate sentence dont go back and forth and take points off because I couldnt guess you decided to change it up on me Please fix these           Inconsistency

There are many annoying features of this app The content is ok But the functionality is far from user friendly There are big pictures and tiny print Why Its a language program Who wants annoying software tics when trying to learn a language Heres a new word for the dictionary crappapp     Another annoying app
