They want my credit card to try one issue Then a full subscription costs the same as they are offering for the print edition It should be much cheaperno printing and delivery costs USA Today is free I changed my rating from two stars to one On the free view not the full edition the first category is Latest News The second is UK Sports Then NationWorld Business and then regular Sports Is this the UK paper or the Lexington paper     Why not a free trial

I have uninstalled and reinstalled this app many times in an effort to get it work properly Most days the current days issue will not open Other times the app tells me it cannot find my server Interestingly this is the only app on my iPad that has this problem I have properly closed and reopened the app I have rebooted the iPad I have rebooted the router and modem all for naught My level of frustration is such that I am considering canceling my subscription of 38 years There are too many other reliable local news sources available        Needs improvement

Does not work now     HL quit working

After the latest version was released I can no longer access the paper Could you please fix this bug or make the previous version available again I love this app and anxiously await it being fixed     What happened

This app was much better before the update in March Please bring back the pinch to zoom the flip page and the auto signin Without these features you may as well access the HL with a bookmark in Safari     Bad improvements

April 15 update fixed authentication and we got zoom back Thanks for listening This app makes reading the paper fast convenient and pleasant The reader can browse the headings and then easily zoom in on the stories of interest Paper can be downloaded for reading without a data connection Oops I had to remove 2 stars The weekender section has been eliminated from the electronic version We really wanted the whole paper           Huge fix but missing body parts

I agree with the others who posted yesterday I loved the way the app worked prior to yesterday I dont like the way I have to read the paper online now        Cant open as of yesterday

Downloaded this morning hoping to read paper on my iPad Doesnt work at all     Doesn

Have been having problems for a couple of months but now it crashes immediately upon opening Have uninstalled and started over couple of times but just gets worst Totally useless app     Broken

Same problems as everyone else This was my go to app for news but now I cant unlock current issues Instead I have to use the other app which isnt as functional as this one     Same problems

Have subscribed to the Herald Leader for years 7wk Wanted the iPad version so my husband and I could more easily share the paper Today is our first use of the app I find the viewer interface challenging to control The pages become unstable with stretching and the comic page becomes fuzzy Not terrible but needs some tweaking An interactive crossword would also be fabulous           Needs work

The 313 update virtually ruined this app In addition to having to log in EVERY TIME I want to view any issue which is totally ridiculous I can no longer perform such basic functions as downloading an issue for offline reading or even going to Home Would also be nice to be able to use airprint to print articles puzzles etc This app is VERY DISAPPOINTING more so with every update     March Update is Awful

I had nothing good to say in my first review but in the interest of fairness I must provide an updated opinion This app is rarely glitchy now and I find it very useful The page links to the continuation of an article actually take you to the appropriate article now and the current latest edition is now loading correctly 99 of the time My only complaint is that when you select an article to enlarge it is a blurred unreadable mess for a second or two but it does quickly provide the appropriate resolution Customer service at HL was always responsive with my complaints and they were at the mercy of the outsource company which developed the app during the glitchy early period              Much improved

This is the most unstable app on the Internet I pay for a service that wont open     Broke again
