Now NO pronunciation The button is there but audio is random and sooo infrequent     Gets less useful with every upgrade Vic17

It is useful but the database is limited compared to full dictionary apps Sometimes the audio don t work after IOS upgrade the developer doesn t update regularly which is big letdown             Very useful but audio has issues Barnsterous

Finally I could download the app I tested it and well am not very impressed First of all it does not support landscape mode on iPad and iPhone 6 Plus It has poor library of dictionaries comparing to Dict Box and other StarDict based applications where 100s of dictionaries could be added     Weak USForces

I just learned to love this talking dictionary But The new version 4 x is not as good The 3 7 version is just friendlier and easier to use Each word has a pronouncation next to it which helps learn and find the right word PLEASE STOP automatic updating Please                     I am rating Dictionary v 3 7 not 4 x shellime

I liked this app before the new features but now I REALLY like it In addition to my own love of words I tutor middle school kids who love to use this app to look up definitions That always leads to further discussion on nuances of a word proper pronounciations which we can now hear etc The easy links to synonyms etc gives me even greater opportunities to help expand their vocabulary The price is right at double the cost                     Fantastic MarieAnnet

Well thoughtout program I do like the ability to translate the word searched However under the Search there is only limitted language available I like to see more ie Vietnamese Also under the Google direct translation it would be better if one can change the font size currently it s too small to read Otherwise this would be a 5 STAR             Multifunctional app Craz4iPhone

1 you need to be able to turn word of the day off It gets annoying ending up looking at word of the day on accident 2 you need to change the name or something because right now it doesn t fit under the icon             Two issues Overall a good thing

most definately better than any other dictionary thesaurus app the best features about it is the grammar aide the large variety of synonyms antonyms adjectives and the options of changing the font size etc and using the Internet well done I haven t checked but I hope it s an offline app since there isn t wifi everywhere surely it could use longer definitions needs to be more in depth Thanks                     wonderful splendid exquisite Liyaaa.

Now this program is updated to 2 0 The interface is really nice and looks great To tell the truth I bought other dictionary A H D at the price of 29 99 That has really ugly interface it s impossible to tap searching words in the explanation of a word So now I use the Speaking English dictionary more frequently I really recommend this I guess many people made a complaint on the first version of this app However If you use it you will be satisfied version 1 x If it were 15 I should not buy it However it is not just 0 99 now Dec 22 It contains pronunciations so I can hear the sound You can use advanced search with wild cards anagrams phonetics Because the dictionary is based on the Wordnet data so it contains many words with simple definition and synonyms hypernyms I recommend this                     Special price worth buying and Great Interface ver 2 0 liverd
