Used it on my brand new washer and dryer The washer and dryer send off a code but all this app does is show its listening Doesnt work at all for me Another worthy free app
You made enough money on my refrigerator alone to pay a developer to make this app work on an iPhone Show that you care at least a little about the consumer and fix this Its been WAY too long Come On LG
So all it does is listen I was waiting for it to connect by wifi or whatnot But nothing Just listens after 2 minutes of listening I gave up and called the 800 number Doesnt work
I used the application to diagnose my LG top loader Got two codes 508 and 20 Called LG and was told this app is NOT for use by US customers Dont waste the space to load it LG customer support is outsourced and a bunch of idiots The first clerk I spoke with could barely speak English The second clerk tried to tell me to use Permanent Press settings and I explained there is no such setting on a HE machine He hung uo on me Ill try again tomorrow My unit is 1 week old and I already regret buying LG Useless
This app is a total waste of time It diagnoses but does not explain what the codes mean so you have to call the service center Save yourself some time and just call the service center Useless
It worked perfectly for me Testing our washer and it came up clean but I pulled a couple codes when scanning our dryer Followed the instructions called the number gave them the error codes and determined that the dryer exhaust was likely clogged Traced the hose to the outside vent and sure enough it was restricted Cleared the restriction and problem solved Im not sure what other people might be experiencing Theres probably a newer version but
Dont bother downloading this app as it doesnt work Confirmed this with LG tech Total waste of time in the middle of the night Doesnt work
Just spent 30 minutes trying to get it to even loadfind my units and the sound was never good enough Was literally pressing my phone against the machine and still nothing Dont waist your time Junk
It listens then gives me nothing Completely Useless
We have been waiting for this Awesome
