LG Smart AC

I dont know what people are complaining about You can control your AC from anywhere love it              I love it

I just paid over 500 for my WiFi AC Once you download the Smart AC app you then have to go to the LG website and give away your name phone number email address DOB WHY Was 500 not enough money and I have to give away more personal information to another company For the price of this unit the app should connect immediately and work with ease I should not need an account Also for the same price I could have purchased the version of this AC without WiFi that cools AND heats WiFi must be a great feature Nope its a long range remote which doesnt make it smart Downloading the app however I realized what a waste of money this was so maybe thats what smart referred to Side note this is my second AC unit from LG the first broke after 2 months spilling coolant on the floor and seizing the compressor Im currently setting up my replacement unit I didnt even bother setting up WiFi the first time because I didnt find a need Its an AC I bought it for the BTUs but I dont feel the value I wish people could see this before they buy the AC in the first place     AC needs your private info

Was great But now crashes at sign in Also can you work with Logitech to allow the to incorporate access to wifi control in their ultimate home control remote Thanks           Please fix

The AC unit works great however the app is very limited gives the impression that a high school student had a summer project Timerschedule seems to self modify mysteriously Unclear and not verifiable modifiable what time zone the unit resides in except resetting the whole thing 12hr Imagine having to do a factory reset to change time zone on your iPhone LG this is terrible NB I tried support link landed me on a Korean page for LG TVs not cool     Not so great

Signup button does not respond Setup online at lg site and sign in that way doesnt work either Waste of money so far Please fix Update signup requires special character to be included in password however the app doesnt accept it Push none of those button pushes respond in the app when entering password     Doesnt work for iOS 82 or 83

I would rate this much higher if it didnt crash every other time I did anything        Works but crashes

This is the worst app Ive ever used And seeing that I paid 700 for this air conditioner it is not worth the frustration LG needs to sell this line to Nest     Crashes constantly
