Honestly I m not the type to review often but this app requires an exception I ve been using it for over a year now on my laptop phone and it s been amazing It keeps track of my requests and due dates for my books when I can t There s notifications for when you need it and it s customizable for your urgency It s sad to see that it s no longer supported but the developer did a BRILLIANT job This one is a keeper for sure                     Nothing Else Like It paodle
Unfortunately it has not been updated and no longer seems to work                     Please update Kaleo
I use this app constantly and am SO dependent on it It has bugs with certain libraries and sometimes just doesn t work properly but I don t care because I still adore it I can t find anything like it I use multiple libraries so this lets me see everything together Please release an update                     Love but no support Abra L.
This is the handiest little app However it seems that Mr Chu has moved on to other pursuits and the app is no longer being developed I wish that someone would pick Library Books up and continue to work on it My hope is that it will happen before iOS 11 or thereabouts stops 32 bit apps from running on the iPhone Then this gem will cease to work forever                     This 32 bit app will soon not run on iOS HappyPig
Recent IOS update appears to have finally killed this app I really wish there was a replacement but I ve never found one                 Alas Fcpl user
Seriously nothing makes me sadder than the fact that this app doesn t get more love If you use a library you need this app It is simply designed preventing it from being annoying to look at and keeps track of your loaned books and holds It is perfect for making sure you don t miss a hold before it is respelled or worse given to the next person in the queue or pay money in fines More apps are needed like this one job no cutesy images or noises and reliability Though it hasn t been updated for a long time it has never stopped working for me though for some reason it isn t included when I back up my phone                     Greatest most useful app ever Jeanne-Erin
I used this app for a long time and am sad it is no longer supported Still works for showing what I have checked out but Holds and other features no longer work for me and dev said no more support Anyone know of similar app that s current                     Sad it s not supported anymore CarolZanetti
Thanks for years worth of work on a fantastic app Good luck in the future                     Thank you Bogie0000
There may be fancier looking apps out there Bookmyne is heavily promoted by my library but if you have more than one card do not look any further The developer stopped supporting this app over a year ago but it is still the best app on the market It shows you every book you have checked out on every card in one list It shows every item on hold from every card in another list It logs you in to each account with one touch so you can check balances and place holds I have been using this app and it s mac counterpart for years It s simply the best                     There is none better Indispensable app Mokidad
Sorry to see this app support will end Feb 1st Please fix bugs before ending support For some reason not all my library accounts are not getting updated I have 3 year old girl boy twins who have library accounts and your app helps me keep track of them Thanks                     LOVE THIS APP Grnbike
This keeps track of your library books Tells you what you took out and when they re due Then it will transfer you to the official library web site of your library to renew etc very nice clean easy to see This actually reminds you when library books are due Then it will transfer you to the actual library app of your city library When you sign on the app updates the latest due dates etc organizes by when the books are due This app is a real winner                     A GREAT App Roberttjay
This app is wonderful and I use it a lot when I m in a I need to read something all the time mode But there is a bug or a needed fix I d like to suggest When I don t have any books checked out or have anything on hold there is no way that I can see to access the library catalog through this app if I want to browse and find a book In other words I have to physically go to the library and check out a book or 2 or 20 to show I have something in my account and then I m able to then access the library catalog and request books So am I not doing something right or others finding the app to be lacking in this I d like to see this get fixed or updated and then it s a clear 5 stars But right now it s annoying             I love this app but JingleBabyStar
I have had this app for many years It has saved me so much money in late fees just press a button and all the information of what you have and what s on hold and history Helps me keep track of my families books and remind them to look under the bed because they have it checked out just need to find it Also links you to your libraries webpage if that is necessary to search and order materiel or renew something at the last minute so you don t have to drive down there There has been excellent support from the developer and he also has a desktop app for the Mac                     Indispensable tool craigcush
If you have a library habit this app is an essential tool                     Perfect solution Sudama
Great app Have had it a year and it s my favorite app We have 4 people in our family with library cards and use 3 4 different libraries ie 16 different accounts and this covers everything Talk about simplifying life Not having loads of overdue books has saved us money and helped family harmony Plus Harold is very responsive                     Great app with fast payback John J in Chicago
This is one of my favorite apps and the developer is very responsive to requests for additional libraries                     Great app mwbeatty
I started using this app when the State Library of Louisiana was added It tracked everything and always reminded me in time to avoid fees I like that it automatically tracks even when I m not connected to the Internet The only time I have to connect is when I check out a new item or turn an old item in I m diligently working to get my parish library to cooperate with the developer so they can be a part of this system too I m having a hard time getting assistance because of the ELF system they use which is totally subpar to Library Books App because you have to depend on an email from them and you aren t notified of your holds without paying for a subscription Their emails come after the fact when you re already overdue I just don t understand why they don t see that Library Books App is an astronomically better choice for their patrons than that ELF monstrosity                     Perfect Jendayi781
As a frequent library goer to several local libraries all supported this app is quite indispensable If offers easier quicker access to library records than either visiting the website or LibAnywhere app That said there are few nagging issues that I wish will get addressed soon 1 Update can take a long time although that could be due to slow library website Since it can take awhile offer indication e g percent fetching web contents parsing 2 It does not show the barcode ID nor number of times renewed later is contrary to what one of the recent update release notes claim My wish list 1 Change the top status bar into library browser Tapping it should let me change to different library Replace the refresh button with drag down the list to refresh gesture 2 A checkbox function to mark books to return so I can indicate them as I find them or better yet 3 iCloud Reminders integration add individual books due to Library Books Reminders group I would purchase this feature as an in app upgrade even 4 Renewing books so I can dump LibAnywhere                 Very useful but not quite there Nutmac
I just purchased this app and they do not have any libraries within 100 miles of me What the heck I just wasted money buying this app     This app stinks No local libraries
I borrow books from five different library systems for both personal and professional use Tracking due dates on a spreadsheet had become quite a project then along came LibraryBooks When i put in my library requests the developer responded personally and immediatey within 24 hours my small local library was added and within a couple of weeks the huge consortium of libraries in my state was added I have LibraryBooks for Mac as well between the two my record keeping has disappeared With due dates automatically posted to iCal and the reminders that i ve opted to exercise overdues have become a thing of the past I love this app Excellent value and a breeze to use                     Terrific App Sensational Service In Maine
This app tracks the Brooks s signed out on all the library cards our family has I can set how far in advance it warns me of library materials that are due soon If I am work or running errands I can easily see if the book I am waiting for is available for me to pick up yet There are only 2 improvements I would like to see 1 I wish the history was organized by which card signed it out so I can track which books each family member has read 2 I wish I could set it to auto sync It currently lets me set it to sync on start up but a daily auto sync would be better Thanks for a wonderful app                     Keeps track of all the library cards in the family TeachNTech
I really cannot rate this app because it lacks the one thing I would have thought it would have ebook register With more and more libraries offering ebooks to their patrons I would think an app that offers a way to track library books would offer that service What about it             Ok But HumbleBea
This app is awesome Makes checkin in out and renewing library material so much faster easier and is totally convenient Never have to waste unnecessary time at the library and with the reminder no more late fees I hold and renew items on my library s website through the app and am alerted when they are available due I am an early childhood teacher and I m always checking out numerous library material at once I now leave all the remembering and checking for availability up to the app It s simply perfect                     Thanks to the inventor sapphireskyy
This is the BEST app ever I Love it I read A LOT and trying to keep up with what is out and when it is due back can be frustrating Now all I do is open the app Only prob I have is sometimes the app does not automatically update the info and have to refresh Well worth the money                     Awesome app Berrie1234
Did not work for me No instructions for how to use     Review Annasells
This app has already saved me money in library fines It is simple easy and so useful Support is also fantastic responsive and personal My library wasn t supported when I first learned of the app I contacted Harold and within a month I had a desktop app that worked amazingly well The iPhone app followed shortly I love love love this app                     Great App Tool andrella
So useful                     Awesome Heather & Dory
Harold the developer was great about adding support for my library Typed in my name and library barcode and voila it showed what books I had on loan with a thumbnail of the books cover next to the date they are due I can even track my kids library cards Great job and well worth it Getting reminders on my phone sure beats paying late fees                     App paid for itself in missed library fines Riptide360
Absolutely love it It does exactly what it says All my books showed up as soon as I put in my info So much easier than getting online to check what is due or waiting for me                     It s great sheremy
I sent in a report after I tried this out for a day and have not heard anything back I ve double and triple checked my login info and I cannot get this app to work Until there is an update or a response telling me how to fix it I ve deleted it off my phone     App won t work newsboysfanrh
I bought this app mistakenly thinking that it would not only track but also download hold and return dont know where I got that from Perhaps its because there was so little written about what it does do In any case Not only does it do any of those things but it doesnt even do what it says it does name track your holds and loans I entered the library card number and pin and it said that there were no holds or loans when in fact there were I even deleted some items that I had on hold and performed an update thinking it would make the adjustment NOPE Still shows no holds I changed the pin just to see if it was infact accessing my library and of course it came back with invalid pin So I knew that it at lease attempted to authenticate And now that I am sure of what it is supposed to do Who needs an app that only acts as reminder for when books are to be returned And for 3 00 yet DONOT buy this app I am requesting a refund     Not worth the money bassplya
I have been using the mac version of this app for ages so when I got my iPhone and iPad i knew I needed this app I was so pleasantly surprised to see that it is not just a port from the desktop Developer Harold gets it This app was clearly thought out from the ground up as an iOS app It makes use of the platform in ways that just make sense Don t make me think But it s not just skin deep The back end support for a gazillion libraries around the world is remarkable I routinely use 4 different public libraries yeah spoiled I know each with different systems yet LB effortlessly unifies my records in one place accessing those diverse systems completely transparently Oh and this is the first time I have given out 5 stars for ANY app                     What an iOS app should be jdtangney
Perfect app does exactly what I need it to Plus the developer is very responsive If your library is not yet supported email him and he will add it for you very quickly                     Great App thebigch7
I am a library lover and I homeschool my children That being so I check out a lot of books from two libraries on three accounts two personal and one educator s account It can be very overwhelming to keep track of it all When I found this app I was really excited but then found that one of my two libraries wasn t supported I petitioned the author to add my library and I saw that there was a long list of other libraries that had been petitioned and he was working through them in a orderly by demand basis In about a week he contacted me asking me to do beta testing for my library on the desktop version Woot He had a nice walkthrough prepared and he answered questions It s working great and today he added my library to the iPhone version which is also working great On both versions there are links to take you to your account on the library s site the iPhone version is where it says Loans at the bottom of your list There you can see whatever other details you need to know beyond the basics In short 5 stars for the app and 5 stars for Harold the author                     Filled a real need Freckleface78
This app works better than promised Not only does it tell me when holds are ready and books are due but it also let s me directly into my library account This is what the Mac version does but this feature was not in the description of the iPhone app I can search for books videos and audiobooks right within the app on my iPhone Harold is an awesome developer and responds quickly to suggestions He even emailed me when my library was back up and running on Library Books Now if he would only make an iPad version                     Great app Berkeleydude
I have been using Harold Chu s free Library Books app on my OS X machine for years and I jumped at the chance to actually pay him for his iPhone application Even though my library is in beta Newport Beach Public Libraries it works a treat helping me track what book I have out at any given time and make sure I return them before accruing any late fees And since my 8 year old daughter is an avid reader there are times where we have twenty or more books checked out This application really helps simplify my library use Thanks a ton Harold                     possibly my favorite application fadedgiant
I use two libraries regularly and this app flawlessly keeps track of what I have out and when it s due and what books I have on hold or reserved Instead of logging into two different library websites I just open my app It even notifies you when a book is overdue                     Excellent Application JayC99
I bought this app because the Mobile KCLS app that i was using and loved stopped working when the library updated it s computer That app disappeared from the app store but I found this one and thought it would be a good replacement even though it cost 2 99 It doesn t work It loads and shows that I have no books on loan and no history Very disappointing and now I m trying to figure out how to get my 2 99 back Don t buy it     Doesn t work FisiB
Okay just kind of kidding But I run this on my iPad and it s still worth it I have the desktop version too even more worth it The developer deserves our support for making libraries convenient again Just genius                     and now I ll take the iPad edition ammmm_mmm_m
This is an extremely useful one of a kind program I ve been using it on my mac for years and I bought the app in anticipation of my local library being added to the current program Monroe County Library Can t wait to use it                     Nothing like it J-333
I have used this app on my Mac for years and loved it I snapped it up when I saw it in the app store to discover that it didn t support my library system I contacted the developer and he worked dilligently to add and fix my library system Now everything works perfectly and I am very happy This is the type of developer that makes the iTunes App store work                     Great App Super responsive developer NetWtOz
I use my local libraries a lot and this app is very useful to me My local libraries were not covered by version 1 1 but I went to the app s website and put them on the request list After a few weeks Harold the developer contacted me to user test them Now they are in this version and it works great I easily track the books and CD s that I have checked out or that I have on hold and I can search for new stuff on the libraries websites from within the app Also I love the desktop freeware version on my Mac This is one of those simple perfect little apps that does one thing very well It helps me keep track of what I borrow from the library                     Very Useful Lronco
I am a huge fan of the MacOS desktop version of this app I was unpleasantly surprised to find after I d bought this app that the number of libraries especially in Australia is extremely limited and does not include any of the libraries to which I m subscribed on my desktop I appreciate that this is a one person operation but I would have liked to know that the library list is still very limited before purchasing the app I m not asking for a refund because I want to support development but buyers should be aware of this limitation             Not as Complete as the Desktop Version JGMotek
Look on the library list on the site If you go to one of the libraries listed this is a great app A nice companion app to the Mac Library Books application The developer is very responsive and seems to be expanding it regularly If your library isn t here now check back in a while to see if it has been added It s going on my HomePage It ll pay for itself by avoiding late fees Not affiliated just a very happy consumer of Library Books for the Mac and now Library Books app                     Very nice app Usopp
If you re a public library user and you should be then you need this app Period Don t even think about it just click buy                     Really nice app MrLadd
Those complaining that this app doesn t yet support their library but still costs money should remember three things 1 This app costs less than a soda from a vending machine 2 The developer substantially rewrote this app recently and he s having to add support for libraries back in as he makes sure they work 3 There are a lot of libraries out there and many of them have very different ways of seeing what books you have out and when they re due adding support for your library probably isn t as easy as just adding a line of code In my experience the developer is very responsive about adding support for requested libraries to the Mac beta version where they re being tested and I look forward to my library being added to this app soon In the meantime I bought a copy to do my part to support a developer who s made a great application available for free for years                 Offers unique functionality for less than the cost of a soda Jonas Wisser
I also have used his OS X software for a while and it works very well I got this to support Harold I wish that it would run under 3 1 2 not sure why it wasn t compiled to that requirement Don t really want to update my iPhone beyond that yet                 Great developer great app SeattleHorn
I have been using the free Mac version of this app and have been a very happy user and donated in turn So I was very anxious to see a version for the iPhone finally seeing the day of light The desktop version has currently seen a new beta version that matches what s offered here you get exactly what is promised The app works as advertised Unfortunately the new version also means less supported libraries the author promises to update previously existing libraries both for the iPhone and the new beta version than in previous versions In the past that often meant months until updates happened Now that the author is charging a fairly substantial but still fair price by iPhone app standards previously exisiting libraries need to be made available soon I fear that the author will soon find that charging this price will mean a substantial amount of expectations from users features updates customer support that in the past have proven to be challenges in terms of time not responsiveness I m such a happy customer of the Mac version though that I regard this as a way to pay back for all the previous efforts provided at not cost             Great app room for improvement JKR
I just purchased this app and they do not have any libraries within 100 miles of me What the heck I just wasted money buying this app     This app stinks

So useful                 Awesome
This app is awesome Makes checkin inout and renewing library material so much faster easier and is totally convenient Never have to waste unnecessary time at the library and with the reminder no more late fees I hold and renew items on my librarys website through the app and am alerted when they are availabledue I am an early childhood teacher and Im always checking out numerous library material at once I now leave all the remembering and checking for availability up to the app Its simply perfect                 Thanks to the inventor

I am a library lover and I homeschool my children That being so I check out a lot of books from two libraries on three accounts two personal and one educators account It can be very overwhelming to keep track of it all When I found this app I was really excited but then found that one of my two libraries wasnt supported I petitioned the author to add my library and I saw that there was a long list of other libraries that had been petitioned and he was working through them in a orderly bydemand basis In about a week he contacted me asking me to do beta testing for my library on the desktop version Woot He had a nice walkthrough prepared and he answered questions Its working great and today he added my library to the iPhone version which is also working great On both versions there are links to take you to your account on the librarys site the iPhone version is where it says Loans at the bottom of your list There you can see whatever other details you need to know beyond the basics In short 5 stars for the app and 5 stars for Harold the author                 Filled a real need
I use my local libraries a lot and this app is very useful to me My local libraries were not covered by version 11 but I went to the apps website and put them on the request list After a few weeks Harold the developer contacted me to user test them Now they are in this version and it works great I easily track the books and CDs that I have checked out or that I have on hold and I can search for new stuff on the libraries websites from within the app Also I love the desktop freeware version on my Mac This is one of those simple perfect little apps that does one thing very well It helps me keep track of what I borrow from the library                 Very Useful
There may be fancier looking apps out there Bookmyne is heavily promoted by my library but if you have more than one card do not look any further The developer stopped supporting this app over a year ago but it is still the best app on the market It shows you every book you have checked out on every card in one list It shows every item on hold from every card in another list It logs you in to each account with one touch so you can check balances and place holds I have been using this app and its mac counterpart for years Its simply the best                 There is none better Indispensable app
Thanks for years worth of work on a fantastic app Good luck in the future                 Thank you
This is the BEST app ever I Love it I read A LOT and trying to keep up with what is out and when it is due back can be frustrating Now all I do is open the app Only prob I have is sometimes the app does not automatically update the info and have to refresh Well worth the money                 Awesome app
Did not work for me No instructions for how to use     Review
I bought this app mistakenly thinking that it would not only track but also download hold and return dont know where I got that from Perhaps its because there was so little written about what it does do In any case Not only does it do any of those things but it doesnt even do what it says it doesname track your holds and loans I entered the library card number and pin and it said that there were no holds or loans when in fact there were I even deleted some items that I had on hold and performed an update thinking it would make the adjustment NOPE Still shows no holds I changed the pin just to see if it was infact accessing my libraryand of course it came back with invalid pin So I knew that it at lease attempted to authenticate And now that I am sure of what it is supposed to do Who needs an app that only acts as reminder for when books are to be returned And for 300 yet DONOT buy this app I am requesting a refund     Not worth the money
This app tracks the Brookss signed out on all the library cards our family has I can set how far in advance it warns me of library materials that are due soon If I am work or running errands I can easily see if the book I am waiting for is available for me to pick up yet There are only 2 improvements I would like to see 1 I wish the history was organized by which card signed it out so I can track which books each family member has read 2 I wish I could set it to autosync It currently lets me set it to sync on start up but a daily autosync would be better Thanks for a wonderful app                 Keeps track of all the library cards in the family
I used this app for a long time and am sad it is no longer supported Still works for showing what I have checked out but Holds and other features no longer work for me and dev said no more support Anyone know of similar app thats current                 Sad its not supported anymore
I have been using the mac version of this app for ages so when I got my iPhone and iPad i knew I needed this app I was so pleasantly surprised to see that it is not just a port from the desktop Developer Harold gets it This app was clearly thought out from the ground up as an iOS app It makes use of the platform in ways that just make sense Dont make me think But its not just skin deep The backend support for a gazillion libraries around the world is remarkable I routinely use 4 different public libraries yeah spoiled I know each with different systems yet LB effortlessly unifies my records in one place accessing those diverse systems completely transparently Oh and this is the first time I have given out 5 stars for ANY app                 What an iOS app should be
This is an extremely useful one of a kind program Ive been using it on my mac for years and I bought the app in anticipation of my local library being added to the current program Monroe County Library Cant wait to use it                 Nothing like it
I use two libraries regularly and this app flawlessly keeps track of what I have out and when its due and what books I have on hold or reserved Instead of logging into two different library websites I just open my app It even notifies you when a book is overdue                 Excellent Application
I am a huge fan of the MacOS desktop version of this app I was unpleasantly surprised to find after Id bought this app that the number of libraries especially in Australia is extremely limited and does not include any of the libraries to which Im subscribed on my desktop I appreciate that this is a oneperson operation but I would have liked to know that the library list is still very limited before purchasing the app Im not asking for a refund because I want to support development but buyers should be aware of this limitation           Not as Complete as the Desktop Version
This is one of my favorite apps and the developer is very responsive to requests for additional libraries                 Great app
Okay just kind of kidding But I run this on my iPad and its still worth it I have the desktop version too even more worth it The developer deserves our support for making libraries convenient again Just genius                 and now Ill take the iPad edition
Look on the library list on the site If you go to one of the libraries listed this is a great app A nice companion app to the Mac Library Books application The developer is very responsive and seems to be expanding it regularly If your library isnt here now check back in a while to see if it has been added Its going on my HomePage Itll pay for itself by avoiding late fees Not affiliated just a very happy consumer of Library Books for the Mac and now Library Books app                 Very nice app
If you have a library habit this app is an essential tool                 Perfect solution
I borrow books from five different library systems for both personal and professional use Tracking due dates on a spreadsheet had become quite a project then along came LibraryBooks When i put in my library requests the developer responded personally and immediatey within 24 hours my small local library was added and within a couple of weeks the huge consortium of libraries in my state was added I have LibraryBooks for Mac as well between the two my recordkeeping has disappeared With due dates automatically posted to iCal and the reminders that ive opted to exercise overdues have become a thing of the past I love this app Excellent value and a breeze to use                 Terrific App Sensational Service
Sorry to see this app support will end Feb 1st Please fix bugs before ending support For some reason not all my library accounts are not getting updated I have 3year old girlboy twins who have library accounts and your app helps me keep track of them Thanks                 LOVE THIS APP
Now if it would only allow me quick access to the catalog so that I could add more books to my hold list              Nice summary
I bought this app because the Mobile KCLS app that i was using and loved stopped working when the library updated its computer That app disappeared from the app store but I found this one and thought it would be a good replacement even though it cost 299 It doesnt work It loads and shows that I have no books on loan and no history Very disappointing and now Im trying to figure out how to get my 299 back Dont buy it     Doesnt work
I have had this app for many years It has saved me so much money in late fees just press a button and all the information of what you have and whats on hold and history Helps me keep track of my families books and remind them to look under the bed because they have it checked out just need to find it Also links you to your libraries webpage if that is necessary to search and order materiel or renew something at the last minute so you dont have to drive down there There has been excellent support from the developer and he also has a desktop app for the Mac                 Indispensable tool
This app works better than promised Not only does it tell me when holds are ready and books are due but it also lets me directly into my library account This is what the Mac version does but this feature was not in the description of the iPhone app I can search for books videos and audiobooks right within the app on my iPhone Harold is an awesome developer and responds quickly to suggestions He even emailed me when my library was back up and running on Library Books Now if he would only make an iPad version                 Great app
