FREE WHILE SUPPLIES LAST Light Beam is the iPhone 4 s brightest and easiest flashlight using the built-in LED flash It includes a strobe light and SOS emergency beacon. Light Beam gives you a bright LED-powered beam ...
i was meeting a friend at a crowded bar and he turned on the strobe couldnt stop laughing quickly found each other cool app handy trick
At least 3 of the first 5 reviews are easily matched to members of Astek development team as identified on the Astek web site Without even considering the merits of the app which are pretty good this is a shoddy practice It is highly unethical to rate your own app Unethical Practice
I dont know if theyre going to start charging for this app again but as a free flashlight app this is certainly the best one out there I came home the other night and my husband hadnt left the porch light on and I thought to myself hey I have lightbeam Ill still be able to find the lock Get it now while they still have it for free Great app
When I first opened Light Beam I was amazed at its speed and how bright the LED is Youll find no faster flashlight for the iPhone or at the hardware store The strobe makes it easier to see me on my bike at night and if my bikelight battery runs down I can just switch to my iPhone Its brighter anyway If I need help I can signal SOS An iPhone app that uses Morse Code Light Beam spans 2 centuries of hitech How cool is that Best and Brightest
SOS is three sets of three flashes with the middle group slower This app flashes four times fast three times slow and two times fast I dont know what that spells but its certainly not SOS Thats not SOS
I hit SOS and there is this onoff button and below it a cross medical symbol is that to call 911 It really should let you know thats what its for SOMEONE PLEASE RESPOND PLEEEEASE Im afraid to use it
Cant wait to start using this app as I always have my iphone with me and never seem to have a flashlight when I need one The strobe will be helpful when I bicycle at night and the SOS I hope I never have to use but its nice to know its available What a Great Tool
Perfect Wow that little LED is bright This app puts it to perfect use Its simple easy to understand and it works Hansel and Gretel should have had one of these when they were lost in the woods Let there be light
Just downloaded the app and Dear Jhreview1 I am afraid you are incorrect This light flashes SOS correctly The problem is that there is now pause between the sets of flashes The 4 flash of the first set is actually the 1st flash of the 2nd set of 3 quick flashes likewise in last set the 1st slow flash has no pause between the 3rd fast flash This gives the appearence of incorrect sequence Maybe the programers can put a 2 sec pause between the sets Ventilator 74 I assume by know you have figured out that the cross that appears merely turns the SOS signal off Clarification
This app is the best way to use my LED as a flashlight I love it and the strobe and SOS features are nice Great and simple light beam and strobe
Fast and easy I like having everything on one page with no unnecessary clicking Light Beam is easy on the eyes which I appreciate on my iPhone SOS beacon and strobe are fun and maybe even useful Of course Im biased as Im part of the development team but please see for yourself Simple to use fun extras
The new iPhone has a builtin flash but to use it as a flashlight you have to open the camera app switch to video mode then turn on the flash This app lets you turn the flash on with one touch right when you run it Then you can drag the slider to switch to strobe mode and vary the rate at which it flashes No other flashlight app has an SOS preset You probably wont ever need that but itll be good to have it two clicks away when you do need it Note that Im a member of the development team but I stand by this review Now if I can just get boss to get me my own iPhone 4 Simple and Slick
