Very few instruments in this app for the price The description should at least tell the lighting units listed to be fair to the buyer to alert him her this is not nearly an exhaustive list like the high price might indicate I wish the seller would contact me for a refund Completely useless to me but I could not tell this from the description     Not as advertised cghs

After trusting this program for a few years I stumbled upon some huge inaccuracies 50 deg Source 4s listed as having higher FC output than a 19deg for the same throw and wattage and suddenly I noticed many other such problems I emailed the developer and got zero response The program is almost 6 years old Don t keep filling their coffers until they fix these problems update their catalog and hire a support person And don t trust the results you get from their app     Light Calc inaccurate LA LD

I was hoping to toss out my copy of Photometric Handbook when I purchased this program but that s not happening anytime soon Everything works as advertised but there are only 42 instruments lens in the program most of which are ellipsoidal Once more lights are added or the option to add your own light data then it will be worth the purchase         A good idea but needs more instruments G2Pro

This is a great start i feel the only thing lacking is a better library and the ability to add to the library Its strength is the easy to use interface and giving the foot candle information I actually pulled it out in class today to critique light plots                 Great start tm204

This app is an extremely valuable tool for lighting designers It is useful both in preproduction and on site This app quickly calculates data for a multitude of popular lighting fixtures It has a clear and concise interface that took me only seconds to grasp Not only is it a time saver but the fact that it stays in your pocket allows you to make quick accurate design decisions on the spot Light Calc is a must for lighting designers Well worth the price Nice work                     A Great Tool for Lighting Designers Alex-Light

This is the perfect example of the App Store doing what it was designed for creating cheap well made and obscenely specialized applications I noticed a few reviewers gave this app a poor score because it was useless or something along those lines Ignore these people as they obviously know nothing about lighting For anyone who has ever had to light design trust me when I say that this app is an invaluable replacement for long tiring calculations by hand                     Incredibly Useful Aeger
