Light Compressor lets you easily combine multiple exposures into striking HDR images. Simply load up any number of images and Light Compressor will combine (and align if necessary) the images for you allowing you to ...
I couldn t even open two photos Oh it s possible but its crappy file interface doesn t make it easy Fail and I removed it         Couldn t even open files RF iCloud
I take all my photos with a top of the line tripod I auto bracket and my images are sharp as a tack When I import my images into this app the end result is blurry awful looking garbage Zero stars if that were an option     If you want terrible looking blurry HDR photos then this is your app jhendric
This app doesn t have all the presets you get with something like Photomatrix but I believe you will be much happier with this app It is crisp and to the point and gives HDR images a very good rendering This is not to be dismissed or ignored I m using an iMac with Mountain Lion and have had no issues with this app It does everything it s supposed to do and it does them well That s all I can ask                     Like This A Lot Mike Chillit
I didn t have the prior version befor 2 1 but it had decent reviews for the price Apparently the prior version had manual image aline adjust that is now missing and there is no help file If you have a simple well defined scene it will auto register fairly well On a rural scene with trees and bushes it wouldn t register the images very well which gave it a more painted type appearance not what I was after Photoshop Elements 11 did a much better job of registering and both the auto and manual modes seemed to work well It won t boost the range as well as LC but with post processing in PSE11 you could get similar results with better registration Actually picking the best of bracketed shots and applying filters with Aperture was almost as satisfying     Won t auto register well and prior manual register seems missing Shutterbug Dave
This application can generally produce acceptable HDR output but as some have said it s glitchy There is no ability to align images this is a very basic product So basic in fact that the developer didn t feel it necessary to include even a simple help file and the menus contain standard OS X items that should have been removed prior to compilation It s simple enough to use but it just seems sloppy         Sloppy developer needs some serious work PaulC72
I ve been shooting bracketed images with a tripod and HDR ing them with this program Neat results but when savign the results I get a couple patches of black in areas that should be mid tones It seems like the program needs a little more work             Neat but glitchy blueboxsw
Whenever someone keeps passing the buck I wait even longer to make purchases and I make sure I remember who puts out the software I was so ticked that I not the App Store had to go thru the trouble to correct this problem that I didn t go thru the trouble of downloading it again waiting to see if it was even worth it My instincts were right My camera software does a better job Sorry I bought it Now how can I remove that annoying little number one on my App Store icon in my dock Gee I could update it today It took long enough         Same Hash Mismatch bull UnusedUserNameNumberOneMillion
It s a decent app but I can t give this version any more than one star because the update doesn t work Is anybody reading this The update doesn t load correctly COME ON APPLE GET IT RIGHT OR PULL THE UPDATE OFF THE STORE UPDATE DECEMBER 27 STILL CAN T UPDATE BECAUSE OF THE ERROR WORKAROUND DOESN T WORK UNACCEPTABLE UPDATE JANUARY 29 STILL CAN T UPDATE BECAUSE OF THE ERROR WORKAROUND DOESN T GET IT FIXED PEOPLE     Hash Mismatch on update still GerenM63
Hash tag mismatch I tried deleting all references to a prior version and it still will not install     Broken Update Workaround does not workaround ijak
I got the hash error when I tried to update I followed the instructions in another review to uninstall the old version and then try downloading the new version Now the App store doesn t recognize that I already bought the app and wants to charge me again Well it wasn t a very good app the first time and I have Photomatix now so Call me when you get this fixed         Not Ready for Prime Time JimFromWC
Latest version the update doesn t load Get error message Hash mismatch     Update doesn t load joelheffner
Having no formal software that could handle HDR processing I mainly use GIMP and iPhoto I decided to take the miniscule plunge and drop a dollar for this app Without a doubt in my mind it s completely worth 99 even if all you can get is one useable photo out of it The only thing I m seeing is that often the HDR effect you achieve with this program is either barely noticeable or overly done It takes a lot of finesse of the strength and radius sliders to get a useable effect that isn t insanely contrasted or overly fake looking However once you get the right combination of photos and get everything adjusted to your heart s content this program does exactly as it s supposed to and does it quite well Also it s insanely fast and very very simple to use Bottom line It s a dollar it s worth the purchase and you ll likely get a number of good HDR images out of this app                 Completely Worth It WestSide0788
Im about to get a new computer but needed the abilty to edit HDR so I bought this Best doller I ever spent                     Great Starter pck556
I ve treid just about all the HDR applications and plug ins In the end it is a matter of personal taste on the UI and how complicated you want to make it This works as advertised and is plenty powerful and easy to use OK and also very affordable A great way to get into HDR without much in the way of limits Not sure why the other reviewer had problems finding the saved files Did not have that issue                     Does the job well Haroldus Magnus
It s a bit light on features but being able to combine exposures and tonemap the results with results as high quality as what I m getting from this is unbelievable at the price of a buck Automatic image alignment would be nice but usually I work on a tripod anyway for bracketed shooting and even if you don t it does a pretty good job with single image tonemapping Really you can t go wrong with this software at this price                     Unbelievable Price c4ndlel!ght
I thought what could I lose for 0 99 Well 99 I performed merged images together and it did a reasonable job of blending the images but they take forever to save and for the life of me I cannot find the saved image on my computer I saved to a selected folder and even when I do a spotlight search on the image name it doesn t show up on my computer It just disappears     Light compressor 1 01 Newheart2
Ok so this app has limitations but it is ridiculously fun and useful for the price I ll break it down as follows Pros with 2 or 3 pictures you can get some really great results Sometimes it doesn t work well for a paticular set of photos but usually I get good results Keep in mind that you have to take pictures that are designed to be used for HDR I do this manually rather than using bracketting Sometimes puts out professional results Ok sometimes it doesn t work well but other times I get great results For 99 can you really argue with that Sometimes I run pics through this to see if I like the results If I do I might run it through a better application i e Photoshop CS5 but I have actually had images turn out good enough that I just kept them the way they were Limitations Cons The pictures need to be pre aligned In other words use a tripod More expensive much more expensive applications can stitch together images that are slightly different In this case you cannot use handheld pics at all I expected this but I thought you should know Try using four or more photos not a great idea the shot will never turn out However three shots is a normal limitation for a lot of HDR programs They just say any number of photos in the description and I thought it was important to mention the limitation there If a picture doesn t turn out the way you want it there isn t too much to tweak You can tweak a little but for the 99 it costs don t expect to have a lot of control over the image Conclusion If you want it just buy it For the price it is a lot of fun If you only get one image out of it that you really like isn t that worth it None of the limitations deem less than 5 stars for the price Enjoy                     For the price I wish I could give it 5 stars rpb1975
This app shows a lot of promise It s very lightweight opens before the icon even bounces once it s also very simple which i like and it s all in one step unlike some other HDR software I ve used I have no complaints except for the fact that there s no way to manually adjust the alignment of the photos That s all this program really needs for it to be an outstanding app in my opinion                 Shows promise Parker B
For 99 cents this is a fantastic little thing for HDR Seeing as this is version 1 0 I m very excited to what may come in the future Only complaint being that it most of the time freezes up towards the end of saving though if you give it long enough the image will be saved you ll just have to force quit the program Otherwise I have been coming up with some beautiful results                 Great performance for price DBrakke
Ended up with a blurry image because my test shots were handheld Please add some code for basic image alignment since most of my bracketed photos are handheld Otherwise very simple to use             Needs some minimal alignment Not in flatland anymore
crashed on save can t handle large tifs basically a toy     buggy as hell vonboom
I m not sure if I can make any use of this app professianly but so far I m having fun creating compositions from my photos I also have Filterstorm application from this developer for my iPad and iPhone and use it daily Very nice job                     A light weight application to have fun with your photos Nicebarbarian
Great for the price but limited on controls It would be handy to have a before after view and the ability to reset the settings to the default Definately worth trying for 99                 Great app for the price Snaafu
