Cant select a pinpoint on map to use as center for alerts bad if rural on water or camping Keeps telling me it cant find my GPS location Only lets you turn text alerts on for max 24 hours at a time Does NOT detect or report a lot of lightning that I am both seeinghearing now AND appears on Weather Bug     Problems

I recently downloaded this App It was recommended by my daughter I really like it I have a pool and it has been very handy in alerting me to nearby lightning strikes A gr8 App to keep my granddaughter safe on those cloudyrainy GA days                 Love this App

Im new to the app seems nice but I wonder if it will also be as accurate in remote areas I will update regularly A remote iPad           MG in the sky

App is clunky and not worth 599yr Doesnt seem to show all the lightning ground strikes in my areaWeatherBugs Spark feature shows far more data and in a more userfriendly format including the exact distance from your location to the nearest lightning strike        Needs Updating

I work at a private pool In South Florida where we have isolated storms intermittently thought the summer This application has been invaluable We have a lightning alarm on our pool deck and the alarm feture on the application will go of before the alarm on the deck I give it 4 stars because I had some issues renewing my subscription But the customer service emailed me back rather promptly              Pool Lifeguard Review

Not all strikes show on the map and it crashes with IOS 711 when you zoom in or out To much money for this APP with annual subscription required        This App is ok

One big in app purchase and pricey at that I get this info free thru my local TV weather app and it is excellent Was looking for one when I travel as the TV one is just local to their viewing coverage This isnt the app Will just seek out the local TV station apps when I travel and save on a subscription that doesnt pay for itself 599 per year are they kidding     MEH pricey subscription

Lightning strikes need to follow the radar loop They stay static which isnt very helpful Other than that pretty good app              Good but

There seems to be a problem with the strike history and updating A strike will appear on the map only to disappear after a few minutes without changing colors to indicate how long it has been there Sometimes the strike will show on one refresh disappear two minutes later on the following refresh then reappear again later on           Great potential

Love this app Its good to have this resource when spending time outdoors It also is valuable when monitoring approaching storms Here in north Texas we are always hoping for rain                 Fascinating and helpful

I can see lightning outside in southwestern North Dakota and it doesnt even show up on here most of the time        Doesnt work well

Paid for two years and then after on year it said I now owe for another year mailed and was told that my account was reset and that it now should work Nope my account must have been struck by lightning No more replies to my email and no offer for refund Not Happy     Was Ok BUT in App Purchase did me wrong

I have two versions of iPad the first version and the 4th version Your latest update is iOS 7 compatible which is fine on the newer iPad but the app wont download on my old iPad Does this mean your app is no longer compatible with the first iPad Does this mean I have to delete your app from my first iPad Im very disappointed because making it compatible for one version shouldnt keep me from using it on the older version of the iPad should it                 New version

If you live and play in an area frequented by thunderstorms particularly if you have any responsibility for the safety of others this is a very useful app Different from most of the others that estimate distance by measuring the time from flash to rumble this one shows the actual location of recent ground strikes on a map Your safety remains your responsibility but this is a tool that can assist in making decisions I recently caused a self inflicted error that hosed access to my subscription and the author responded promptly with a fix While a great app great customer support puts it over the top for me                 Works as described prompt support

I find this app useful but it is not entirely accurate or always timely I live on the top of a mountain and am frequently impacted by lightning Whole this app gives me some advance notice of oncoming lighting it does not report every strike nor does it do so in a timely fashion for those it does report              Good but not 100 accurate
