I was sitting on my porch during a thunderstorm counting the seconds between the lightning flash and then estimating how far away the lightning was and I got the idea to search for an app and found this It does what I wanted and adds the map overlays to show where the strike might possibly have been Compass feature is pretty good it would be nice if you would just show only that portion of the circle Good app Does what I wanted

Fun tool With all the thunderstorms around here I should be able to get a lot of use out of this I like the trimap configuration with the ability to switch from satellite map and hybrid views very versatile Even allows you to use the compass functionality so it detects which way you are facing Fun app its free I dont see a reason to not download it I would recommend it to all of my friends and family with iDevices Fun app
