You dont get a lot for the money It would be different if the developers updated the app adding new poetic forms As it stands with minimal outlines of twelve forms it iss poor value The haiku section is dated enough to cause concern Very few haiku poets work in the 575 structure that is mandated here 575 in Japanese and 575 in English are two very different things Theres no mention of key elements of haiku seasonality contrast As the outline is so far offtarget in one format there can be little hope for the others and the others as noted are few The app is a shallow if wellmeaning piece of work If it were a person youd tell your sibling to be nice to it in school but not to date it and certainly not to bring it home Needs more formats and current knowledge

This app works so well It has tons of different poetry forms that you can follow or a space for free verse It kinda teaches you how to write by following the different forms I love the haiku especially The interface is slightly awkward but it does have a nice help section The only thing I do not like is there is no sync to iCloud or Dropbox but it does backup to iTunes file sharing It is tons of fun and I can see this app only improving in the future This writer of 30 years loves it Love this app
