I was looking for a 3D Christmas screen saver for Mac and found several but got the message when trying to install that the program was out of date and get an updated version which there was none I then came across this program and not only did it have what I wanted but included several 3D type screen savers and even had the weather time temp Great program                     Was very pleased 1filthyliberal

The app went crazy It kept asking for permissions I could not get any thing else to open It would not stop If I gave permission it asked again If I canceled it asked again I had to remove the app and that was not easy It kept interrupting I wish it would have worked     Took control why? nickname?

My original review is below However what I found when I uninstalled this program from an employee s computer was that upon deleting the program it deleted ALL of the desktop files This would have been unrecoverable and a disaster if not for the use of the iCloud backup for the desktop Granted no one should store files on the desktop but be advised that this is a serious flaw and could be an unrecoverable issue for others This wallpaper is pretty nice Comes with live wallpapers in HD and it looks good I like the weather widget with its multiple days and locations settings You can configure this to work with your own images too in the custom settings However there is no adjustment available for the placment of the clock or weather widgets and the makers seem to be stuck on round analog clocks only This would rate higher if I could put things where I want them Since I work on this iMac their clocks amd weather are behind my work and it would be nice to place them on the side where I can see them at a glance         Good but dangerous mmclarke1956

I am happy with the wallpaper weather app I can access the current weather at any time while colorful wallpaper in the background I like the feature that chanes the clock format The only thing that is lacking is the number of wallpaper pictures                 Wallpaper Weather App is very useful Dp352

Despite being fairly new to the app I love the wallpaper It has spiced up my computer and serves as a creative backdrop and way for me to update students as to time left when testing As a language teacher I do wish the app came in different languages                 Love it mais pas parfait LaProfesseur

I had the free version of living wallpaper adn it worked for several months stopped working I reported it several times advice given once which did nothing finally bought the live wallpaper version hoping it would help it also does not work I want the random setting and to use my own pictures it stays stuck on one picture and does not change ever piece of crap and I can t get them to answer my reports     horrible ap chaminade73

I ve seen live desktops And there are a couple of these templates that are water on the beach But the Christmas and snow scenes are not live wallpaper They are a photo of snow with fake snowflakes coming down Some of the scenes are not live at all So there is a strange mix between live fake live and non live I don t get it Might want to keep looking if you re after true live wallpaper         Not really Live Popcornhk

The iMac screen app is okay as stock items go however the living Wallpapers gives you great flexibility to use your own images or the ones it has and the option to display the helpful screen information such as news weather and time in varying forms and fashion I use mine with pictures I ve taken of nature and dusk dawn pictures I would highly recommend it My only criticism is that it continually asks me to write a review                     Great Screen selection bpotter53029

Looks pretty but I uninstalled after paying Doesn t honor setting to not restart with machine reboot so it keeps coming back like a bad penny even after stopping and turning off that flag And it is not a login item and I always try to kill it after OSX does any reboots for system updates Prevents machine from ever going to sleep and staying asleep meaning a dead battery on a laptop or a hot desktop iMac for no good reason Looks nice though which would be nice to use from time to time But too inefficient to actually use regularly I suppose it is too late to ask for my money back I didn t realize these things during the evaluation     had to uninstall won t stop running NCMusicGuy

Pros Beautiful Wallpapers Some moving wallpapers Custom option allows you to upload your own wallpapers and the app will do a slideshow through them Custom options lets you hide show the clock and weather icons Cons When you press F4 it displays your actual background not the one from this app Customization isn t great When you opt for custom wallpaper you don t have the same options that the stock wallpapers have You can only choose analog clock designs no digital Has 14 analog clock options and 4 weather options When you add your own wallpaper the clock and weather icon stay in same place throughout each picture I wish you could choose it for each specific wallpaper Some wallpapers look good with the clock in one spot while others look better with the clock in another location Would be nice to customize the clocks so you can change the color of the lines background of clock tick mark colors etc or display hide the numbers on the clock or show hide the second hand The weather icon displays the date but would be nice to have the option on the clocks similar to how watches display the day of the month When you change one of the designs for either the clock or wallpaper it resets the location of both items to their original location so you have to move them back manually Only can display clock and weather for one location time zone I wish it let you display multiple clocks and weather data for different locations Doesn t let you customize the stock wallpaper options A few of the stock ones I really like however I wish the clock was in digital and not analog App only works when it s open it does have an option to automatically start app at login but you have to leave the app open in order to work Makes me wonder its affect on the battery of the laptop Overall this app is neat and different but I wouldn t have bought it if I had known it was missing all these things I was expecting it to have             Good not great Dhebejaiwmen

What everyone else said and It does all it says and there have been no problems I m aware of Plenty of analog clock options but you can t resize it same with the weather option it s great but wish you could resize it as well While your at it fix it so you can move it it and the clock would be much better if you could put them where you wanted and make them smaller and some one might prefer it to be larger Great stuff keep it up Folks I highly recommend it                     Wallpaper App BT Smith

There is so much garbage on the app store that finding something that works is refreshing While very simplistic this app works and i use it now all the time I dont use the wallpapers that come with it instead opting for my own photo collection with the clock and weather superimposed The app is very simple doesnt do too much but does what it does well If i could change something it would be to get rid of the live icon in my dock since the app is running in the background I have other apps which do this such as memory cleaner which runs in the background without an intrusive icon taking up space in my dock Get rid of this and i ll be even more please Still worth 5 stars however                     An app that works Andy Ata

I like the design overall If I would change anything it might be to keep the clock numerals on say the Telescopes more completely visible It s after Christmas now so a change in the seasonal wallpapers to eliminate those themes would be good Otherwise it works well Does what it s supposed to do Looks attractive                 Well designed iNamrod

Great to have a moving desktop background comparing to still mode but I am getting tired using the same moving features for a few months Just add a few more design and keep doing so frequently and this app will be a fantastic one                 Design is good but should be renewed more often ilocmvs

They have done a great job with beautiful pictures and interesting schemes All I could ask is that they keep it up add more schemes and allow modification of a scheme by switching clocks from scheme to scheme They can probably come up with a few ideas of their own It would really be cool to do some thinkering with their schemes Would definitely by this app AGAIN                     Beautiful App Skeet W

Looks like crap and offers virtually no customizability And only ten Wallpapers really And only three of those wallpapers have any motion everything else looks just like normal wallpapers I can t even rearrange Widgets at all and they re all stuck there making my Desktop look ugly Avoid this app like the plague     Awful Ugly and a Rip Off John.Pocchia

The design of the built in images is hilarious with the clock sitting between rows of flamingos and settled just over the horizon The moving water and falling snow make for a very interesting desktop to be sure It s well done Love it Added bonus is that you can select a pile of your own favorite photos to put into the rotation Fun Keep in mind that because there is high quality video playing on some of the images your CPU will work harder than normal and memory usage will increase All you have to do to see this is load the Activity Monitor app from your Applications Utilities folder to watch On older Macs with less computing power this could affect the responsiveness of other apps On my iMac running at 2 8 GHz with 16 GB of RAM it ran totally fine and didn t cause any noticeable hiccups On the Mac Pro running a 6 core Xeon E5 at 3 5 GHz with 16 GB of RAM it did nothing visible to the system but the numbers did show it was a top resource predator Other than that it really is a cool effect and it s nice to watch the scenery change on your background once in a while                     Very cool placement of clock is funny resource usage tad high StuffAndyMakes
