Llama Llama Red Pajama

This is a truly sweet story and the lullaby that plays in the background is really nice too The iPad eBook contains animations just some smallbasic stuff not knockout interactive features but that is also what I appreciate about it It is more about the story than pressing everywhere to see what happens The point of books is to use your imagination The Spanish language version included is truly first rate which is a rarity in childrens books and I feel the publisher should be commended for this My 21 month old really likes this book and I do too                 Excellent Spanish language version and sweet story

My children love this book and we were definitely excited about this app but this first version is a large disappointment Besides it not opening full screen it takes forever to move from page to page and the audio will only read some of the pages at times I look forward to a future update that corrects all of this     So slow

My fivealmost six year old liked it The story is sweet real and read with love Not syrupy Put your fingers on the pages to find surprise animation                 Works fine now Well done

This app works fine on my iPhone 4 and iPad 2 I dont currently have an iPod Touch but I understand the frustration of those with issues At any rate my son loves this story and listensreads it at least three times a day In my opinion the story is good The illustrations are very good The narrator is excellent The only complaint I have is that the interactive portions are kind of lame I actually think it would be better as just a straight narrated story book I guess I cant really complain about the publisher throwing in some extras for free The four stars comes from my sons fanatical love of this series and the excellent narration This app misses five stars because there are many interactive books in the app store that have done interactive much much better Im not going to give any free plugs for competitors on this review but if you know who the monster is at the end of the book then you have a general idea of what Im talking about              Only drama need more Llama

Well i downloaded the app for my lil sister and when you launch it it just crashes When will there be a fix or update for ipod touch     Crash

This is a decent book to app translation My son enjoys the print book a lot so we got him this app for on the go I agree that the narration lacks enthusiasm but I think it is good to hear the story read differently then we do I wish the animations were a little more noticeable In fact some of them are so minute eyes blink that they are practically unnoticeable The controls to turn the page are very sensitive and my son has some trouble with that There is also no option to have the book read through continuously We have also noticed that the print version has a phrase that says whimpers softly for his Mamma while the app says whispers not sure why that is The illustrations are consistent with the book and my son enjoys it so I gave it 3 stars           Llama Llama

Love the book and would buy them all Just need to fix the mechanics The pages wont turn and turn buttons are too small Being able to swipe the pages would be great              Llama Llama

update Im upgrading my rating from 1 to 4 stars This app requires iOs 5 not 43 which seems to fix most of the bugs Would give 5 stars if the page turns were better Swipes would be better than the tiny buttons Especially on the iPhone The app barely works on iphone and not at all on ipad Definitely not worth 5 when theres lots of better childrens books for 1 or 2 and I couldnt find any support Save your money              Nice app

My 3 year old loves the book and when I saw the app I figured I would get it for him for the iPad for when we are out We havent had any problem with it shutting down or not opening The reason why it didnt get 5 stars from me the reader of the story is very bland maybe I am just way more animated when I read stories to little kids that I find it blah I read the book in a very singsong type way My little guy loves it though especially that Llama Llama and his mama talk a little and move a little in the app For a future update I would love to have the option to record my own voice or my husband reading the story in Arabic his native language for my son to use with the app              Pretty Good with a suggestion

Please get this app So my daughter 2yrs and I read this book every night before bed So we were taking a trip and I didnt want to forget it so I got the app So pleased You can read it still with or without sound effects they are really fun though It has an option so it reads it for you which she has taken to doing for herself at nap time And it even has a Spanish option which is really fun I am so happy that I got this app Oh and it has slight animation too looks just like the real book but the eyes will blink ears will move little things like that LOVE Oh and I know some people are having problems with crashing but that has not happened to us even one time And it is so simple my 2 yr old uses it all by herself                 SOOOO GOOD

My son enjoys listening to the book in both English and Spanish We hope the other Llama Llama books come out soon Especially Llama Llama Mad at Mama                 My son loves this ap

I downloaded this application for my children to use on my iphone It drags and locks up It does not flow smoothly     Dislike this app

Having trouble getting the full screen I have deleted it and reinstalled it several times and still cant get a picture Definite problem that needs a bug fix Im very bummed our special education students will love this if I can get it to work        help

This is now the favorite story for bed time and is so adorable Such a sweet story with simple animation for small hands and nice soft music to go with the read to me function                 So adorable

Just got this for my 3 yr old and it seems to work on my iPhone 4s but not on his itouch Makes for a very sad baby           Crashes

Paid 499 for this app because it clearly says it works on iPod Touch Have the latest iPod Touch running the latest software version and the app crashes my iPod every time I try to open it Wrote to the developer via email and DEVELOPER IGNORED EMAIL Buy at your own risk if you want your iPod to crash repeatedly Read the other reviews I am not the only one with this problem     BUYER BEWARE

Description CLEARLY says will work with iPod touch yet WONT EVEN INSTALL Running the most recent iPod software version says app requires IPHONE software update 43 Result 3 4 yr old little girls VERY VERY disappointed upset whom LOVE the book read nearly every night were so excited to have it on their iPods Id like for the DEVS TO HAVE TO EXPLAIN incompatible software to themthrough the TEARS nonetheless Even on my iPhone the app has issues Pages are next to impossible to turn have to keep tapping the button repeatedly before they do And the button is SO TINY hard for little fingers to hit in first place Suggestion need to be able flip pages by sliding finger across page as kids have become accustomed to via SO many other book apps Result VERY FRUSTRATED little girls MORE TEARS because it doesnt work PLEASE give us some info on what youre doing to to fix ALL the issues EVERYONE is having and an estimated time frame Paying 5 for app that doesnt work is only being made WORSE by getting the SILENT TREATMENT from Devs NOT EVEN ACKNOWLEDGING our issues Will NOT be buying any more apps from this dev if THIS is the treatment customers receive     MAD Mama Not a Llama

I know a certain 3 12 year old who is going to be very excited when she wakes up tomorrow and finds out that her Llama Llama app finally works The app finally opens in full screen without the status bar at the top the redesign of the page turns navigation is far superior to the first version and Im confident that my daughter will have no problem flipping through the book This app is now in the condition I was expecting from the beginning Thank you to the developers for taking a look at the comments on the previous version and fixing what needed to be fixed                 Bugs Fixed Runs Great Finally Worth the Money
