Tons of fun especially with the Undermountain expansion                 AWSOME Game

Overall this game is very well done If you like the original board game youll be very happy with this However Id like to see a couple improvements made Id really like to see a per move timer instead of just a total game timer Also an unlimited time would be nice Timers dont work well for games that go on for days because the person who gets stuck with their turn overnight loses a lot time Also a more compact game board would be nice I realize they faithfully reproduced the original board and thats great but an option for a more compact board would make it easier to see things The original board is unnecessarily spread out and requires a lot of scrolling around                 Great game Well implemented

When the user starts the app at any point during a game or tutorial or menu when the user presses the home key to back out of the game then reopens the game in progress the game is frozen and unresponsive        Crashes when multi tasking

This is a great and addictive game However one of the Lord cards the woman who gets 6 for every building is very overpowered The person who draws that Lord wins a disproportionate number of games because just throwing up building after building is really very easy I would like an toggle switch to disable that Lord Otherwise this is great              Great game but unbalanced by one specific card

I understand strategy and such but I do not really understand how this is supposed to fulfill my need for adventure The experience is most bland Id love a refund        Not for me at all Would love a refund

Amazing game well worth the price I just wish playdek would fix the bug where the app freezes when you foreground it requiring you to kill and restart the app every time Other than that this is an outstanding implementation Ive logged probably two dozen hours and many many games on this app                 Amazing but with a bug

As a true Lord and Dungeonmaster I was most pleased to see that the realm of Waterdeep had unfurled itself before my very chubby fingers Twas a cold winter morn while I was breathing heavily over my four lb burrito mustache atremble and fedora atilt sweating profusely onto my iPhone 6 plus in anticipation of the dungeons and fair maidens that awaited in this virtual hell scape So I drew my authentic dagger which is more of a broadsword but hobbit sized forged from blue steel and blessed by a beautiful elven witch who I would later wed and sweatily trembling plunged it into my iPhone 6 plus I am sure if I were to actually have played it would have been a 1010                 A Most Epic Quest

A few small improvements Id like to see When swiping a notification the game sometimes fails to connect and you have to quit and restart the game This should be fixed In multiplayer when you have no quests you can play after waiting for an opponent it should just move on to the next players turn instead of waiting for you to tap end turn                 Great game

going through tutorial and in normal game play the game crashes on round 7 or 8 every time cant get beyond that point its fun game to be sure but the consistent crashing is bad would give 5 stars but the crashing happens EVERY TIME not sporadically not ever so often or ever other game its every single time        Crashes repeatedly on iPhone6

I love tabletop games I really do And I was really surprised how great this iPad app turned out to be Wizards of the Coast did a good job keeping this in the oven for so long to ensure he game would be as good as the physical version And if you love Dungeons and Dragons and Forgotten Realms you will fall in love with this game Highly recommended                 Love tabletop games You will love Lords of Waterdeep

I also wanted to play this board game but had the chance With having played it before I found it very difficult to learn based on the tutorials they provide Additionally I think it was difficult to take in on the small screen of a mobile device Not seeing everything laid out in front of me like one would see when playing a board game really puts one at a disadvantage and made it difficult for me to put the whole game together in my head to understand fully        Complicated and Poorly Adapted For Screen

Id never heard of this game before playing it It is awesome the tutorial is easy to get through and the game is simple to understand but really complex which makes online games awesome The only annoying thing about playing online you have a timer which is a good system but Ive forfeited so many games in the final round because the timer expired Its a little timer and when Im trying to win a game Im not paying attention to the time I wish there were either a way of mutually extending the game or at least an alert                 Great game timer system is good but could be improved

I was immensely excited to find this game released as an app Since purchasing and have found the app game to be a perfect digital rendition of the board game I could not be more satisfied with this app However on my iPod because of its small screen the game can be frustrating This is obviously not a problem i expect you to address But as your app is probably the largest deciding factor on whether I should upgrade to a larger iOS product I would like to know what version of iOS is required to run your game currently and if when new versions come out there will be an option to not update your game with the new update I do not expect your app to run on the 1st generation iPad because the newest version of iOS is to much for their processor a lot of apps that were purchased on 1st gens have become unusable effectively bricking the 1st gen iPad I would be elated to find that it does but I dont expect it If some one could clarify what iOS verion is needed for the app it would be appreciated worth a star even p              iOS requirements

I enjoy playing this game a lot If you find playing against the hard AI setting becomes not as challenging go to multiplayer and play against others to be a lord of waterdeep I highly recommend paying for the additional content since it adds more depth to the game                 Fun and challenging

The system is supposed to email me verification for my email address when creating the proprietary account required for online play The email never gets to me even though Ive tried several different accounts with different providers So far no word from Support which I have now sent two emails to Of course I would much prefer this game to just use Apples Game Center Other than this issue the game is beautifully done and is absolutely terrific           Unable to create online account

I updated to iOS8 just now with my iPad 4 and can no longer play games in multiplayer mode The game seems to freeze not long after attempting to load the multiplayer games           No worky in iOS8

I really enjoy this little app Its nothing extraordinary Just a fun board game I bought the extras which I think is kind of a cheesy thing to do but it gives different play options I am trying to find some fun games that you can play with others without having to pay a lot for in game purchases You know the apps I am talking about I paid once for it I can play it all I want No extra costs The way the gaming industry should be Thank you              Fun board game

The complete lack of ongoing support for this game means that it is getting more and more difficult to enjoy what was once my favorite iPad game Besides longstanding graphics issues that were never addressed it has become so crashprone as of late that now I can almost never get all the way through a single game without crashing back to the iPad home screen at least once If only the makers would have put even a little bit of ongoing effort they would have been able to claim the title of a true iOS classic As it is they are just another company whom I know better than to buy any more software from in the future           Lack of support condemns an other excellent game

Ive not played the board game but this app almost makes me want to give it a try Its lovely vivid the tutorials were good the interactions are very nice I have a few bugs that keep it from 5stars however rotation is dicey and ends up upside down coming back from a sleeping iPad makes it crash every time The game creators website doesnt work so cannot report these directly I would love an update for iOS 8 to see these fixed That said Ill probably buy the inapp purchases for more fun and put up with the bugs              Lovely but buggy

This game is great I want to buy the board game version to play with friends I dont think the iPad version works well playing as a board game with other people but playing against the AI is really fun I havent tried the multiplayer option yet Ive never played DD and had no trouble getting into the game and having fun I recently got both expansions If you like the base game I recommend getting those too Ive only ever had one crash while playing and I play it A LOT but the game autosaves so often that it didnt even matter I wish there were more games like this available I much prefer having only one upfront cost without a bunch of annoying micropurchases required to go further in the game The only inapp purchases are the expansions I waited a few months before buying them and had tons of fun with just the base game                 The best game I own

Open Lord intrigue card is far too overpowered and disrupts any possibility of competition whenever played especially 2 player games     Remove Open Lord

Tough AI opponent even at middle level Only complaint is the power usage for this appit really draws powerbattery life is drastically reduced                 Great card game

First off the actual game is fantastic I can honestly say it is a top three board game for me if not number one The concerns I have below are in no way related to the actual gameplay The app itself on an iPad Mini Retina is pretty well laid out The graphics are good and the interface is at least okay The lack landscape mode is absolutely ridiculous I believe the rationale is that the reallife game board is vertical and they want to be true to the original Thats just silly The original was played on cardboard toowhy make an app at all A vertical layout doesnt work with most kick stands and cases and also feels more cramped The game also has a pretty bad frame rate and lags for up to a minute after being minimized and reopened        Absolutely Awesome Game with Significant Performance Issues

First of all this is an incredibly faithful welldetailed transfer from the board to the screen Do you like Lords of Waterdeep in board game form Then youll love Lords of Waterdeep the app All is well until it comes to the one area this app really needs to shine online multiplayer It can be very buggy directly responding to a notification can lead you to miss an opponents move while you stare at the Connecting to Server screen Even more crucially there is no online chat in the game This is absurd Especially for a game that emphasizes a time limit more than any other board game Ive encountered in the App Store so far It would be nice if a future update addressed those matters but every other aspect of the game is so well done its almost forgivable Any fan of Lords of Waterdeep or other board games in the App Store should give this one some attention Played on iPhone 6 and iPad Air Cant speak for problems on 6              Great adaptation needs work in multiplayer

Absolutely fantastic game Ive never played this game on the table or on a device until I got this app It taught me everything I need to know and then gave me the wheel Its fun as hell whether youve played the table game or not                 Superb

If you dont know what this is then dont buy it It looks like a lot of people love it I do not not one bit I purchased it thinking it was a DD game it really isnt I guess I should have read more about it buyer beware I deleted it shortly after installing it     Wish I would have spent my money on a cheese burger instead

Ive played this game for hours and hours because every game is completely unique The ability to add to the game board by purchasing buildings really transforms each game There are lots of great cards and abilities the expansions are terrific and I love the artwork                 Every game is unique

This is an example of a board game that was successfully ported to an online medium that now exceeds the gameplay of its predecessor My only gripe is that having to login every time is annoying                 Superb Better than playing the board game

Wow didnt think they could match the board game experience onto such a small screen I play this on my iPhone 5 but its great So fun                 Its so great

Well done board game with a lot of flavor in the characters and cards It is an iPad version of a tabletop game digitalized very well retaining board game feel but with the ease of use and nice fit finish of a high quality tablet game I also recommend both expansions each adds cool elements to the base game                 Great board game nicely translated to iPad

I really enjoyed this game a lot and easily would have given it 5 stars if only theyd fix some of its problems The biggest problem and the reason I eventually deleted it off my iPad is that you spend days playing a game then someone wins but it wont show you whowon the game just disappears without any way to determine who just won Fix it and Id love to play it again someday           Needs updates

Ive never played the tabletop version but if it is anything like the app it must be fun This game has just the right mix of fun and challenge to keep you playing again and again                 Fun game

The game is unoriginal The description sounded neat but its a simple resources game like any other You try to get what you need to complete what you want to complete There are a few strategies to win but basically you have to focus on the ones where your character has the benefit which takes out all the possible imagination of the game The only reason Im giving it 2 stars instead of 1 is that you dont need Internet connection to play against the computer so on flights I travel a lot I have another app to kill time with Im VERY happy I bought the app for only a few dollars and not the table game for 10x the price of the app Lastly unless you have already played this game and love it save your money        Unoriginal

While I like the game in many ways especially fully expanded the Lord card unbalances the 2 player format completely I wish there was the option to remove it from 1 vs 1           Unbalanced at times
