The lights are hung we can t get them to light The first strand worked until we plugged in the second strand It tells us to update and stand near the box but even with my phone touching their controller box the controller won t update I am living National Lampoons Family Vacation lighting scene Even when the lights were lit the did not behave to what I programmed We have Hue lights in other parts of our house and love those app controlled lights so know this technology should can work better This product does not seem ready fir release Now I have a unhappy husband who has to take down the lights and hang a different brand     Don t buy them what my kid thinks

Love the control Easy to set up The only thing that is missing is a deep purple When you choose purple from the color picker it goes to a bright white ish purple Instead of a rich purple I can get all other colors fine Just not purple Hopefully that can be fixed with an update Fingers crossed                 Almost perfect Another comment from me

I ve been using the App Store for as long as it has existed and this is the first time I ve felt compelled to write a review This app is awful It actually got worse during the past year of updates Last Christmas the interface was pretty bad but at least it worked But now with the same three strands of lights I can t even turn them on reliably anymore And the interface hasn t improved at all and in some ways is inferior to previous versions This is probably the worst app I have ever downloaded from the App Store which is terribly disappointing because I really like the lights themselves     Doesn t Do the One Thing It s Supposed To Do manicslothpdx

Love the idea of the lights and how you can control them but the app needs major improvement Everytime app closes or iphone locks strands disconnect and what I hate the most if you have music running and iphone locks itself lights stop but music keeps going and when app is opened again it says disconnected but music is going and then you dont have a way of turning off the music rather than reseting the app It also has little effects I think Lumenplay should find a new software developer Lights are way expensive for what it offers In other words I do not recommend this set of lights Fix it and we ll see         Love Lights Hate App yelowcab21

The lights work great however the app leaves something to be desired The timer setting function does not work at all In addition the colors that are displayed on the app are not what ends up being displayed on the lights The color orange ends up looking like yellow so I have to adjust the color to red if I want orange Disappointing app but still fun to play with different designs             Timer function does not work Mjb409

Please update fx don t work when playing music all the lights are solid and flash back and forth Also you have to keep the app open when playing music or else it will stop playing if the timer worked without the app that would be nice too         This has potential justjoshinwithya

Timer only works and remembers its settings if the app is left running and in the foreground and phone remains within Bluetooth connection range of string If Lumenplay app leaves foreground or is stopped or it gets out of bluetooth range timer is forgotten All other functions except timer now appear to work as advertised Tested on an iPhone 4s with S4 lights plus one extender string firmware updated             Timer mode still useless EasySt

I really like the idea of these lights The colors look nice they are bright but the app needs some work Not saying the app makes the lights unusable but not as easy as it should be Every time you open the app you have to manually connect to your lights Then every time you choose a light pallet you are thrown right into editing it I think with a substantial app update these lights will be a winner             Getting there grays_n

The sleep mode function will not turn off so my lights still go on even though sleep mode is off I m returning the lights because the colors do not change correctly and the extender lights flicker horribly The music function doesn t work Also the lights are not bright at all even if you have them in high in the app Overall the app and the lights are horrible     Crap app and lights Newtonnola
