You cannot beat the price for this game It is and will always be one of my favorite rpgs I almost love it more then ff7 The only thing I wish is that they would allow cloud saves and the ability to tweak the menu volume Those small issues do not diminish this awesome game                 A classic for your phone

Classic Epic and heart warming story line Never has there ever been a game quite like lunar and lunar 2                 Best rpg of all time

Heres the deal Lunar was the first RPG I ever fell in love with I played it for Playstation GBA PSP and now iPhone The story characters music and charm is timeless So you can imagine my sheer horror when the game crashed and deleted my save file ten hours into the game As a diehard Lunar fan who loves to relive my childhood every few years I nearly broke down and cried An app update needs to be released to address the crashing issue This is likely not a game people with no exposure to the original will buy Its pure nostalgia value so please cater to the fans I promise Ill start a new game next year Ill always have Lunar in my heart of hearts Ill always come back to fight you Magic Emperor Forever a Dragonmaster           Like going back in timewith a catch

When I first played LunarSilver Star for SegaCD I ended up extending the rental from Blockbuster for almost a month It quickly became my favorite RPG series of all time Playing it on iOS has brought back much of that same joy Wonderfully executed port of a classic game                 Makes me happy

Good old school RPG If you like FF and DQ type games you will love this one Story mechanics its all good and this deserves the 5 star rating for me but it also has some nostalgia w me                 Great RPG

I LOVED this game back in the days of the fabled Playstation 1 It was 2nd only to Star Ocean ll I cant believe this was rereleased without any fan fair from Joystick or IGN                 OMG This was one of my Favorites

I remember this game from so long ago Its still beautiful Crashes here and therebut if you save periodically thats no problem sometimes cant see the cinema scenes but I care for the gamecut scenes dont matter to me Ive played games without those before All in all its worth it to a diehard rpg player              Love the classics

Okay to clarify people saying there are glitches arent getting used to the controls which are touchy being touch screen obviously and some other aspects which you will get used to right away Im running on the latest iOS on iPhone 6 so cant say for older phones or memory differences etcBut on to the review Very awesome port I remember playing this game when I was 14 years old on my PSX Brings back memories of sitting in my room after school eating junk food and being glued to the game for hours lol I did purchase the PSP versionremake of this game when it came out and wasnt that impressed Maybe because Im stuck on the original and original voices and animation and everything But this is well done for sure Got me FF7 before I downloaded this and Ive been glued to this one since Dont get me wrong I love FF too but Lunar Now they just need to port Eternal Blue c                 Old Schoolness

Classic JRPG but the port is terrible It crashes so frequently the game is basically unplayable and on the rare occasion when you can play longer than 2 minutes at a time the controls are cumbersome and unintuitive Play the PlayStation version instead     Great game awful port

I cant believe this has a single review over 1 star This is a wonderful classic but the translation to iOS is pathetic Controls are retarded and several of the cutscenes are just a black screen with only the audio Crashes every 5 minutes bugs a real mess Save your money or get this great game on another platform     Disgraceful

You can read all the other reviews regarding the wonky controls and various other flaws What Im here to talk about is the fact that the game crashes quite regularly I was round about 20 hours into the game when it crashed again Only this time it corrupted my latest save file meaning I would have to replay about 5 hours worth of the game not going to happen Please save yourself a headache and rather stay away from this horrible port     Crashes cause loss of saved game great game horrible port

Where do I start The graphics are so fuzzy This game is a port of a PSOne game And honestly the graphics looked smoother on the PSOne There is no reason this game should not look HD on my iPad Honestly it looks like someone made a VHS recording of someone playing this and put it on my iPad And the controls Seriously its almost unplayable The routing for the character is abysmal If I touch on an are and something is in the way the character wont route around it It just freezes on whatever obstacle is blocking the path And the movement necessary to use the virtual dpad is so exaggerated that it gives my hand cramps trying to use I cant honestly say anything good about this app     So disappointing

Note to everyone Save a lot The multitasking feature is bad and will revert to an earlier point in the game Save before pursuing the home button Even for a minute About the game Its choppy Frame rate is horrid But you did a great job on making it your own for a mobile platform Its playable The game atmosphere feels very rushed though A 1 second black screen before and after battle will give it a better experience and a less mobile feel Id give it 5 stars if you could speed it up to console speeds And slow down screen transitions              Save often

Crashes all the time Ive crashed three times in the first thirty minutes one of those was while clicking the button to save The touch controls are very annoying and portrait mode which has a dpad is basically unusable because the left and right side of the screen is clipped off        Buggy

Bought this game in the deluxe box set when it was released for PS1 Loved it then and still love it Wish they would have been able to keep the voice actors and songs from the PS1 version though                 Great classic game

Although a phone is not the ideal way to play this game seriously go get the PSX version and its sequel it translates pretty well There are a few basic flaws native to phone games like less than stellar controls but the game retains its charm and excellent localization by Working Designs It is unfortunate that SoMoGa went with the PSP remake Silver Star Harmonys voice actors during the cutscenes as I find the originals much more charming and fun but that is in no way a dealbreaker If you are at all a fan of RPGs or great writing and characterization in general then you owe it to yourself to play the best RPG of all time with Lunar 2 in a very close second place                 The best RPG ever now on a phone

Im so glad this was brought back the game runs smoothly and has voiced acting if you like turn based JRPGs then scoop this up                 Just like the Sega CD version

I admit I have the biggest nostalgia goggles for this game But its just so important to me I played it when I was like 13 and I was stupid in love with one of the main characters So happy to be able to play it again There are differences in the gameplay and plot from the sega cd so if you grew up on that try this one I cant give this enough stars                 Nostalgia

Update everything below is true but the glitches are bad I lost a good save after the game crashed so now I save twice switching between the two just so if it happens again I wont have to run through the same areas over again Yanked one star for that Bought this to past time but ended up playing until my battery was dead the first day Great jrpg You need to save often since the game has random crashes Its not a constant thing in my experience but it happens enough to were I save after lv ups and clearing areas My current OS is 84              Addictive

Numerous times where I play for a bit and make progress just to have the game crash on me It also doesnt pick off from where it crashes so saving often is ESSENTIAL Please fix this issue     Fixthecrashes

This is a game I used to love to play When I saw it in the phone I almost did a backflip Great game overall controls are simple even though it does take some getting used to but definitely a game worth my time                 Great game

This is visually and musically a faithful port of the original game It would be great if the controls werent so terrible You can either use a virtual joystick or point on the ground where you want your characters to go but with the joystick your walking speed is WAAAAY too fast and the joystick is not exactly snappy The pointing thing doesnt work well in tight spaces or in spaces with other moving sprites or with moves around corners So not great And you have to dodge enemies in dungeons and maneuver around moving sprites pretty frequently so you end up in a lot of back attacks or in fights you didnt want to get into and would easily be able to avoid but for the controls I dont know if Ill be able to make it through too much of this game the first dungeon was pretty brutal because of the controls I will gladly bump up the stars on my review if they do something about the controls Either support for external controllers or allow adjustment of movement speed The controls do not do this great game justice        True to the original but terrible controls

This brings me back to when I was really young Lunar silver story complete was the first RPG that I played The only problems with this remake is the voice overs they are not so good and the controls are a little wired at first but you get the hang of them Thank you for putting this game out I hope to see this game sell well update the ability to play with a gamepad makes this tons better I can hardly wait to see the next game this company turns out                 Child hood
