Whenever I try to register the app using the QR code it crashes App crashes

This app is a great idea but it does not work at all for me I cant even install it on my Mac Just a waist of time Does Not Work

No real instructions except for an installation video but I figured it out All this app does is detect when the power cable is detached from your Mac It then sends an alert to your iPhone and iPad I assume and an email to your registered email address However it ONLY does this when your Mac is locked via the MacAlarm app shown in the menubar on your Mac While your Mac is locked using the Mac app if the power cable is ever detached an alert shows on your iPhone The Mac app also takes a photo of whoever is in front of the computer at the time the cable was detached and starts a timer that counts up from the time the cable was detached That photo and timer shows on your iPhone when you view the alert doing so starts the iOS app Thats basically it The iOS app does not have to be running even in the background for it to work but you must put your Mac to sleep via the MacAlarm app Weaknesses If you dont use the MacAlarm Mac app in the menubar to lock your Mac the alarm does not work If your iPhone is asleep you only see the alert AFTER after you wakeup your iPhone Probably way too late at that point to do anything about the theft More bugsglitchesoversights in the apps The Mac app in the menubar does not always reappear after unlock your Mac requiring you to restart the app each time you wakeupunlock your Mac Also the camera does not always take a photo when the Mac is unplugged I guess its good to use if youre in a public place using your Mac Still if you leave your Mac alone and this thing alerts you on your iPhone when someone unplugs the Mac and only after you wakeup your iPhone its probably too late to do anything about it Improvement that should be made It would be a much better system if the Mac app sounded a loud alarm on your Mac when it was unplugged and simultaneously alerted you on your iPhone with an audible alarm even if it is asleep One would expect that with any alarm system The system should also arm itself whenever the Mac goes to sleep not just via the Mac menu app If you forget to use the app then your Mac is unprotected Neat concept Weak execution Could be better Meager alarm system
