This mag has awesome info help user forums and the ability to ask questions directly                 Great info

I cant think of another magazine subscription print or electronic thats as high as 65 per year Thats WAY too much Especially for a digital subscription that isnt any more than a scanned copy of the normal print version If all youre going to do is duplicate the existing print version through another channel lower the price and get some sales volume Youre missing out at these prices        Incredibly Expensive

I find the app works well                 Pretty good

This app is frustratingly slow when opening the magazine turning a page scrolling or selecting a website     Slow on an iPad 3

The last update makes the app to crash and I havent been able to make it work I did uninstall and installed it again and keeps crashing     App crashes immediately when opening

Future Plc makes terrible magazine app It is almost impossible to get a subscription from them that will work on more than one device iPhone and iPad They seem to make you purchase the magazines more than once if you want to read it on your iPhone and iPad You are better off subscribing to their pdf formatat least with that you can read on a PC and multiple devices     Terrible app

Perhaps a bit slow on the load but its worth waiting for and hopefully load time will be fixed soon Absolutely fabulous execution of content and interactive presentation Not only does this mag inform it does so with elegant style Welldone Bravo and Thanks                 The yardstick by which we should measure all iPad mags

This is a very good magazine better than its American counterparts but the app is poor Its main deficiency is not automatically notifying you of the new issue and usually you have to go to help and restore issues to get the new issue to download        Good magazinenot so good app

Purchased a stand alone issue and it is not downloading I tried all the things mentioned in the support area Anyone else had this issue If so how did you resolve it Please help     Help help

mag is great but when I loaded in special preview of new iPad mag it will not lwt me go back to library or store to view other mags           love the mag but app doesnt work right

Ive seen the July issue on the newsstand for weeks now iPad version is still showing June This really needs to be fixed        Mag appears on newsstandwell before the iPad

What magazines on the iPad should be pretty interactive intuitive A joy to read                 Love it

What an awesome magazine This is the best magazine Ive ever read on an iPad and should be used as the standard of how to make one on an iPad by every other content publisher out there especially Apple related mags many of which are very poor transfers of their otherwise excellent print versions The content of Mac Format takes every advantage there is in creating a magazine for an iPad which makes for full interactive use text is swipeable videos are integrated for watching as are buttons for accessing related content As soon as I discovered all this through one of their samples I immediately signed up for a subscription and moved the app icon to the very beginning of my Newsstand to know where to start first whenever I want to read a Mac mag Thank you Mac Format team for making an excellent mag app                 The Best Magazine To Read on an iPad

Really regret paying for this Magazine is light on content and they always show you Scroogle products shots How bloody annoying And the app is a mess to use and you cant highlight or bookmark I hate this UK magazine a total POS     Bad magazine bad app

I love the Mac format magazine but the app has major flaws For example tapping the screen doesnt bring up the navigation options I DO NOT BUY ANY MAGAZINES UNTIL THEY FIX THIS seriously if you do you will be disappointed     Major flaws

I was really surprised to see the vast amounts of information in each issue I was thinking it would probably be like every other product specific magazine and just praise and glorify everything that Apple does but not so with this publication If there is a problem issue with a Mac product this Mag will tell you and then tell you the best thing to do fix or go around the problem Of course on the other side of the spectrum they do make issue of the things that are new and worth hearing about that make life a little easier to deal with My subscription remains on my wish list to my family when it comes time to think of a Christmas birthday or Fathers Day gift Keep up the good work                 If u have a question they have an answer

Crashes every time     Haven been able to read one issue

Ill second the occurrence of missing navigation buttons It wasnt a problem when I first got the app but then it just happened out of nowhere Tapping the screen will no longer bring up the navigation buttons required to close out the magazine and go back to the library The only way to fix is to uninstall and reinstall and redownload all magazines     No way to close out magazines with navigation buttons

Walk away from this one Its just a way to sell magazines No info available without a subscription to one of this publishers many mags This app is a waste of time Dont bother with it     Junk not an app

I see on the app that they are offering for a Limited Time All Issues Are HalfPriced To Celebrate The Queens Diamond Jubilee But when you go to purchase prices are the same I like the magazine and would like to take advantage of this offer but cant because it doesnt give the discounted rate Regular price for the individual or subscription rate is outrageously high for a digital magazine     No discount as advertised

The new digital version is absolutely terrible August 2012 Takes forever to download even with a good internet connection Its been going for 3 hours and is only 32 done No response from MacFormat either     Terrible App

I downloaded because I love the magazine but like everyone else Im stuck in the iPad issue I cant get out or access the other issues Major bugs     Help Im stuck in the magazine

This is a great mag but the recent FREE New iPad edition has an exit issue Once youve started reading the mag you cant get back to you other issues Small problem                 Great Mag BUT

Mac Format read like a series of press releases with very little information about improving the users experiences with new products apps and services        Press Releases

I looked at this magazine a long time ago and got one issue liked it and deleted it because it was too expensive Recently I got an offer from the company from Mac format to get two free issues and then buy it it I liked it This sounded like fun I downloaded the two issues and discovered my credit card had been hit for the full amount of a subscription for the free trial was up I will never be buying a magazine from this company again Too bad as I am an IT professional This magazine would have been helpful     Charged for free trial

Without doubt the cleverest MacMag out there Great info links that actually work and I love the interaction sad but I sit for hours scrubbing the virtual wipe board For once I even prefer this magazine to a hard copy Only slight downside it sometimes has a glitch downloading but deleting and starting over again fixes it oh yes great customer service too and shy not theyre British                 Brilliant

I like MacFormat and its iCreate counterpart In print form this magazine cost is very high for US Subscriber as it originates from UK I waited until the app sub was reasonable and then subscribed I recently renewed I used to buy individual issues with the app againbecause print issues run about 1500 Subscription price with app is a bargain Both magazines offer great info and supplement my MacWorld subalso via iTunes Digital copies are better than hard print They are easy to refer to at any time within several clicks from my library Beats pouring through a stack of back issues I will definitely renew as long as digital subscription price remains reasonable Oh on a hardware note I am using a 3rd gen iPad 81 and have no issues viewingdownloading or archiving issues O                 Objective Review

This is a brand new app and I thought it was the equivalent of a free magazine about Apple products but the download just gave me the opportunity to Subscribe to the magazine I am disappointed     But it says free

This is my first foray into Mac Magazines and its beautiful interactive and informative Subscription price is okay rather expensive but Im an Apple news junkie so I pay for it Great quality Download and experience an app that has had thought out into it and executed with you in mind                 Great app

Some of the content in this magazine is useful However be aware that it doesnt deal well with non renewal It will keep showing up with new content at a price and is a pain to ignore Suggest you avoid unless you plan to subscribe long term        Possibilities but annoying

This really utilizes the medium that it sits on It is not just a digital version of the printed one it was designed separately as an interactive piece I love that I can now enjoy this in the states because I can no longer get the printed one all the Brick and mortar bookstores are gone This pub has the best content bar none I always want to read every word                 Best Mac Mag

I simply love this mag its one of the best available but then there is the app Unfortunately the app stands between the user and the mag This app is slow with few features Downloading is painfully slow and the subscription process tracking and implementation are the worst Customer service is not particularly helpful and all this for the most expensive mac mag Ive found Their mags are good everything else makes you feel like youre getting ripped off To much work and patience required for such an expensive product When this sub ends Ill go back to Zino for this mag none of the problems there at least not in my experience The app is just not very good and makes getting to the mag a painful experience        Love the mag hate the app

Your update is terrible It is slow it will not load and when it does load some bought mags have to be redownloaded again which can take hoursWish I had never updated Please please fix these problems Thank you Jan Kennedy     MacFormat Tap Dig Camera etc

Ive been reading this mag since the 90s and its far and away been great Useful articles and great writers                 Great mag

After I downloaded the app from an email I received from you all I tried to use the voucher code provided After 3 attempts I deleted the app and reinstalled it thinking that would allow it to work once again it didnt so I deleted the app off my phone When you all have something that you want printed make sure that it works before its release I would have loved to be a subscriber but now I am just a statistic of people who have deleted the app     Voucher code not working

Ive read this magazine in print for years and Im very happy to have it on the iPad However the app only contains low resolution scans of the magazine pages Hopefully they will update it when the iPad 3 arrives        Great Magazine

I dont write a lot of reviews but I pretty much read exclusively on my iPads now This newest Mac format is just beautiful By far the best magazine app I have seen and I have about ten various mag subscriptions so I have a lot to compare to Great work Should be the model for all to follow                 Just beautiful
