Quick loading works Fine same as browser version Only the build in browser feature should have an option to open in a browser of your choice Some links buttons or scripts don t work in the build in browser so you ll have to manually open a link in your browser Other than that it works fine                 Works fine Tantekorry

I have this app on my phone and laptop It can work well at collecting emails by subject matter but the laptop versiokn has failed multiple times when I tried to create and send an email The create maill feature would not let me add receipients or to write a message The laptop version needs work Now I realize why This is NOT a Google product I have successfullly used the pin feature in Chrome to pin my Google Inbox rather than suffer through this work in progress         Good Idea Needs Work Entropyman

It seems to be more of a wrapper that contains the exact same content that you d see in your browser so not sure what the point of this app is Links open up within the same app rather than your default browser which isn t good I ll stick with Chrome until a real app comes out             no different from loading inbox in your browser david trnv

I love this app and everything about it Let me start by saying until 3 months ago I was a 3 year dedicated user of Newton formerly CloudMagic for both my iMac and android devices and absolutely was content using their service before they moved to a paying model that didn t interest me I moved back to Inbox after trying it at launch on my android devices previously and am very happy I checked out their MacOS app I love the layout spacing colors organization just about everything I can think of Any updates are just added bonuses once you find an app you enjoy and seamlessly rotate into your daily actions Thanks for the hard work and continued support                     Stellar Desktop Client Tbone4lfe

If I click on GMAIL my email opens up instantly This app in comparison is slow I also noticed that every time I launch it I get notifications of OLD emails as if NEW and at first was confused I d go to the inbox and look for that notification to no avail I ve just uninstalled it         Slow and Annoying 4SeeDesign

This isn t an original email client but simply a browser window with the email client inside of it You may as well open up Safari with Inbox set as the default tab That being said it isn t the worst thing ever It still does give some small advantages to the user just not enough to make it worth while         I don t like it but I like where it is going Jacob__________

Update 5 19 Text replacement is available May have always been Two finger tap inside the reply field go to Substitutions put check mark next to Text Replacement Works like it would in all other apps Am very happy to have this feature in my desktop email app have been waiting for it for a while Would still like the option to open links in Safari by default but app is well worth 5 stars even without it Good app nice to have Inbox on the desktop Needs two things support for Text Replacement Shortcuts and the ability to select what browser to open links in There is no preferences panel currently to even offer this as an option My preference would be for a preference panel I ve only had the app for 5 minutes but everything else looks pretty good Have been using Kiwi for the last year or so but it only supports the non Inbox variant so stars on my mac wouldn t show up on my phone and pins on my phone wouldn t show up on my Mac Looking forward to transcending that pickle However links not opening in Safari might prove a bigger issue Kiwi could do that at least Both lacked support for Text Replacement Shortcuts which I think is critical for anyone using Apple products when you take it out of one program that you type in it slows you down everywhere else                     Has Text Replacement Shortcuts Fitzmaurice

The ability to assign a time day to review later ease of filing grouping and categorizing is very practical and useful Some emails open up internally instead fo using the default browser and freezes The spellchecker is not working or not provided in the Application However it is a very practical email system                     Finally excellent email management AbuZayd

I love In box and was excited to see a non web based application made available Unfortunately there are two critical problems that render it unusable for me One no spell check Two constant freezing If these issues can be fixed and a function to schedule emails to go out at a later time I ll be all in         Almost there dnosv

As others have pointed out the application has a serious flaw use of an internal browser This may be fine under some circumstances but certainly not with anything password protected It s a critical security issue Please don t put your passwords into the browser window To avoid this I need to have inbox open in my normal browser for links which makes installing an application pointless     So good except for one major flaw zydecho

This is a solid email app for Gmail The one thing and it is important is that whenever you open a link it opens it in its own broswer embedded into the program Aside from being annoying to me this cuases occasional issues passwords etc and it forces me to copy the url and past it into a standard browser Safari for me Since this one thing is making me look for another gmail inbox tool I need to give it only 2 stars         Ok but needs improvement All0fth3mrtaken

Guys it doesn t open the links in it s own browser The entire app IS a browser itself It s just a browser window that has the homepage set to Inbox by Gmail You might as well just keep going to Inbox on your regular browser     It s literally just a browser ry.sp.wil

As others have mentioned it opens mail links in its own browser which would be ok but it of course doesn t share any cookies with any other browsers on your system so you ll have to login to sites all over again It also doesn t support browser extensions that either Safari or Chrome might support so it s fairly basic It would be nice to be able to select a preference to open in system default browser             It s good but TheBogeyMan

Great app Inbox by google is a great tool for keeping your emails in check I don t always like having to go to the web to use inbox so this app is extemely useful                 My email has never been more organized Nikki_GD

Overall this is a good email tool and I enjoy using it It s great when you are checking emails on multiple devices as I never run into any issues toggling between devices My main complaint is that when I click on a link in an email it opens the link inside the application in its own window which I am assuming is a lite version of their chrome browser Unfortunately there are times that the lite version is not good enough To avoid this I manually copy the link and paste it in my browser                 Good and want more Entynt

I love this web based mail program It has helped me deal with my mail one time I love being able to orgnize my mail easily However I do have trouble writing emails The program seems to lock up at times and I have to get all the way out quit the program on my Mac and then re open It is a pain nd has tempted me to go bck to outlook                 Just a couple of hiccups Revbag

I really do like Inbox It has streamlined my email experience in an eye opening way Bits of information that would require a long search through old emails to find now appears with a few keystrokes Bundling on Inbox makes for a less cluttered more accessible gmail This app is excellent way to manage email Get through the junk email quickly and right to the stuff that matters The email bundles allow you to clearly see which messages are important It does take some time thought on how to best configure the bundles I have been using it for a while and it is fantastic I enjoyed using it I really like this app as it helps me organize my inbox This app is already 5 stars and I am hoping it just gets better It has a very simple interface but it s so perfect and easy to work with Would highly recommend this app A HUGE Thank you to its creators for sharing Good luck                     A great way to manage mail LindseynrAnn12326
