Maine Coast Revealed

Its too expensive for the limited amount it gives you        Nice idea but

I loved the easy to use layout and the ability to save my favorite locations This app told me exactly what I wanted to know before I headed to Maine where to stay eat and local attractions And multiple pictures were included for all the locations No guide book can do that Great job                 I got more from this app than a 1500 guide book

This app has shown us places to visit that we might not otherwise have found Then it creates a neat and easy to follow map showing the favorites                 Cool app

Information contained is great for a first time visitor to Maine Provides good ideas for which to do more research Only issue so far is when viewing slide show we hit a link We were taken to flickr and could not get back to app Tried to close and relaunch to no avail kept showing up in flickr Ended up deleting and reinstalling app This really limits the usefulness of the app Without this problem would give five stars bur this bug limits to three stars           Decent app bugs make it a three

This app offers limited information and would more appropriately be subtitled a portion of the Maine Coast slightly revealed The index divides the coast into southern midcoast and downeast Downeast is mostly Bar Harbor with nothing listed along the wonderful section of coast east of the Bar harbor tourist mecca The list of features described seems arbitrary and random and offers nothing that isnt in all the standard commercial guides and websites     Weak limited information covering only part of the coast

This app has surprisingly little useful information for the price At most this app should cost no more then 99 and need more updates like many more People looking for info on Maine can do better then this        Not very good for 299

This is a really comprehensive guide to the Maine coast Its a lot of fun to use and super information packed Lots of hidden gems like Wolfes Neck Farm in Freeport Love the update too                 Awesome app

Probably the best Maine Guide available that I could find at least on iTunes Nice mapping functions slideshow links off of pix for more info and mapping info Well thought out Easy Couple of improvements needed Sort by your location I saw places in the slideshow that were cool but only after I drilled down into the map function was it shown but visually well done how far away the Point of Interest was If the App could sort by my location or by town it would save a lot of time The general map does show picture thumbs of POIs near a location but each much be zoomed in to determine what it is or to reveal a name tag Exit off Map The Map function sometimes will not allow you to exit back to the App On one of the pictures I went to the map and could not see the top menu to navigate back to the slideshow Likely an programming error for that one attraction No Help there is no help FAQs icon explanations I also saw a 2 reference on one of the map locations Picon a Pic icon and did not know its meaning This is a very cool program and with a few tweaks would earn five stars from me Come on Updates           Very visual and easy to use
