I bought this app to study characters and build my vocabulary I have also found the dictionary to be very useful and powerful and I use it constantly in my travels and as a general reference The new miaohong writing practice is actually quite useful for developing muscle memory I highly recommend it So glad I found this

I think this app had a good start to what can be an excellent learning tool Ill discuss some of my feelings on it Support I sent two emails regarding the application about a question and a spelling mistake I received quick replies from the developers and was thanked for catching an error The app is sectioned off by HSK levels and is designed for a visual learner meaning the screen is easy to read and the characters are large Of course you have the option for traditional and simplified I find the definitions simple but I would like to have some sample sentences added to solidify learning since this is being advertised as a learning tool not a strict dictionary The flashcards are good you cant customize your cards the same way you can on Pleco or Anki but its a beginning The dictionary is set up nicely You can search by pinyin character and you can search for characters as only characters or as part of words similar to searching by a prefix or suffix Brilliant The app itself is very stable maybe slightly sluggish at times but never crashed yet Good start
