If I tap either Alaska or Mainland USboth are selectedhighlighted as the United States Why is Hawaii also not selected To the Devs Hawaii became the 50th state of the United States of America in 1959           Hawaii is a separate country

On the map if you tap a dependent territoryGreenland French Polynesia etc it shows the country owning it If there was a mode where you would find dependent territories and say who they are owned by that would be great Great app though                 Dependent territories mode too

Much much better than two other geography quiz apps Id been using Cleaner maps more current countries more consistent interface no fluff Training mode is nicely done youre presented with a country or city name and if you guess incorrectly both your choice and the correct one are shown and the question is repeated soon after Quite useful without in app purchase but Ill pay for the pro version                 Clean and clear

Regions categorized in an organized manner screen is very accurate to the touch for selecting those small countries when zoomed out complete world region available from the start for free with many additional options available for purchase                 BEST WAY TO LEARN GEOGRAPHY

I just started with this game but I enjoy it It definitely challenges me which is a good thing              Its Cool

I love this for brushing up on my geography I like that you can choose the level of difficulty by opting for just the major countries or all of them Excellent resource                 Great learning game for adults too

While this is the best map quiz app I have come across there is room for scrutiny The variety and consistency of map content across continents is impressive however it would reinforce citycountry relationships if the visuals typography color scheme contour lines etc had a more unified look across different maps The South Pacific map is difficult to select The Asia is too large and cumbersome for easy navigation And for all maps when the correct answer is displayed or selected it should reinforce the relationship between city and country by posting the name of the city written out together with the country name I still highly recommend this app but would absolutely love it with these updates                 Best Map Quiz App in the WORLD

I love this app its fun and easy to use Anyone an easily learn not only the names of the countries but also political and geographic features such as mountain ranges major cities riverslakes etc my only complaint is if you want to learn about individual countries theres only about five from which to chose I have six apps that teach geography and this is by far the best of them I spend hours playing with this app and it has really increased my knowledge of the world Anyone who travels or just wants to learn should definitely get this                 Really easy to learn about the world

This is a great geography app Ive been looking for something like this for so long I see no reason why it wouldnt be good for kids too but not having all the silly cartoon colors and characters makes it especially great for adults I also disliked that other apps forced you to play games that were obviously designed for an elementary aged child Plus it gives you the states countries AND capitals Most apps leave out the capitals and instead teach the countrys flag Whens the last time the news only displayed the flag and expected people to know the country No what adults need to know are country and capital locations and names This is a rare app to provide both Finally this app does one thing that I havent seen ANY other geo app do it gives you a chance to study the places BEFORE quizzing you on them Most apps will only quiz you forcing you to learn the correct answer by mistake This app is now a regular part of my daily routine as I get back into proper mental form and back to knowing where each country actually is and what their capitals are And do yourself a favor consider at least some of the addins they only enrich it further Theres only one thing I would change considering how important the Middle East is it would be helpful if one could study the Middle East without having to study EVERY single tiny Asian country including the Pacific Islands                 Great for Adults Too

I realized I needed a refresher There are newly formed countries and some whose locale was just limited to a continent but now I can pinpoint them easily                 Pretty Awesome

It works well very tight programming And I totally nerd out over geography so this is absolutely perfect for me                 Its a lot of fun

When I cant sleep I open this app and run through one of the trainings or trials In so doing I have gone from knowing almost no geography to being able to identify about a third of the worlds countries and capitals and thats only in the first week or so Great way to learn nice interface                 World Maps is wonderful

This app is great Perfect study tool One suggestion to make it iPhone compatible so I can learn on the go There are other iPhone geography quizzes but none as good as this                 Please make iPhone compatible

I really like this app One small thing I have noticed On the United Statesphysical map under desertsthe Chihuahuan and Sonoran deserts are transposed                 United States Physical Map

Does exactly what it should Training mode allows you to learn the locations you need and challenge mode tests you on that training Zooming in allows you to select cities that are close together I really like that the game includes geological features like rivers deserts seas etc for a little bit more which I didnt mind and that it included cities that arent capitals The overall appearance isnt glamorous but I dont need that Overall good app Enjoy              Good learning game

I am an adult who is geographically ignorant and am tired of being so This app has worked great as a learning tool The tests really help with learning and do a great job of repeating items you have missed to help you learn it even in the middle of the challenge My only concern has been some possible errors in the map For instance in one area Hawaii appears to be its own country              great learning tool

My wife and I love to challenge each other Wow we are nerds Ohh make one for the periodic table Please I want one I can win                 Awesome

The only improvement I would suggest would be to be able to focus on difficult questions during the training sessions I dont need practice locating Washington DC for example but Kinshasa DRC always gives me trouble But overall this is a terrific app for learning and practicing geography The 900 upgrade is totally worth it                 Terrific Geography App

Best geography learning app Ive found The training portion of the app is amazing I learned all the countries on the European Continent in one night I bought a few other geography apps and this one is BY FAR the best                 Wonderful

Many of the islands are so small and some cities are too close to make a choice without hitting the wrong place There is no way to learn the right answer within the game     Too close

Essentially this is THE 5star geography quiz thus far but there is always room for improvement Worth the for anyone serious about learning geographic place names The free version is great too I believe there is an error in the physical map of the US the Sonoran and Chihuahuan deserts are reversed              great job one minor error
