The Marine: Europe HD is now available for $54.99 for iPad owners. The application is designed for use in English language. It weighs in at only 15.1 MB to download. It is highly advisable to have the latest app version installed so that you don`t miss out on the fresh new features and improvements. The current app version 3.2 has been released on 2014-11-19. I am a current Navionics user having purchased maps and downloaded this App through iTunes for use on my iPad which I sync with my Raymarine E7 chart plotter I have used the Caribbean US Canada and Europe Apps and have had a few issues I wanted to share 1 After using the App Europe HD for example and adding a waypoint manually by entering the Latitude Longitude the entered waypoint position is different I e The waypoint is actually not at the entered position than what was entered when the waypoint is checked This is a serious issue for navigation Edited to add that the waypoint position error occurred when building a route using entered waypoints as stated above in case that detail helps 2 In the left hand route bar add the Lat Lon in a display for each waypoint on a route This would help users plot waypoints that appear on charts or manually on their chart plotter when the app fails to sync automatically 3 My Apps fail to sync and share routes when connected to my Raymarine E7 chart plotter Both the App the maps and the chip in the chart plotter are current subscribed and up to date but I get an error message when the App attempts to sync         Major Flaws base733

THIEFS Great software but they con you into buying the Ipad app claiming interoperability among devices only to find out later that if you want the software on your iphone also you need to shell out another 20 bucks They claim it is an HD vs non HD issue but this is nonsense You buy the expensive one 50 and then need to spend 20 more to use on your iphone At best misguiding At worst and most probable intentional con move BUYERS BEWARE Reported to Apple     THIEFS nachofon

This has been by far the best navigation app Pricey but worth it However now they ask you on top to sign for a subscription with high annual fee on top And they try to sell you the updates they get from the users for free as a goody Avoid this rip off hopefully somebody creates waze for sailing navigation soon     this was once the greatest navigation app AVOID NOW WangenheimSv

All of my charts for Europe have disappeared from the app and now they want me to pay them again for the charts I paid 55 for the app and now to get Europe back I need to pay another 55 I m sorry I ever bought this app if I d known they d extort more money out of me I never would have even considered buying it     Missing all charts Attila50

I don t agree with this I bought this map specially for the Canary Islands now Navioncis has removed these islands with update No I m going to contact the customer support     Why are you removing Canary Islands from my map Rolivier

We have been using this while cruising Holland and Belgium There are large parts of Belgium which lack basic chart data such as bridge heights or locks The charts seem much better for coastal areas Also the weather function sound good but has not been very accurate with respect to current conditions Overall this is a helpful app for planning but not your main nav tool For the price it is worth it For the canals in Holland the ANWB app is much better             Ok but missing coverage Juan Trippe

This is a good app We used it last year on a power boat on the iPad 1 with no gsm card installed We were able to skip using the bulky charts on many occasions and instead relied on a marine gps and this app The first iPad was a little slow but r This year we are using the iPad 3 and it is so wonderful we even skipped the gps                 Stockholm Sweden use on power and sail boats jwcollard

Effettivamente anch io pensavo a qualcosa di meglio Le mappe sono eccellenti ma si perde spesso il punto nave e quindi bisogna riavviare Non c e nulla per la navigazione cose che si trovano su GPS da quattro soldi Probabilmente non sono pratico ma non sono riuscito a cambiare velocita e distanza da chilometri a miglia Penso che c e molto da lavorare perche diventi un App utile alla navigazione Allo stato attuale non vale i soldi che costa     iPad App Leo of Rome

Don t buy this app its either awful or not ready yet for prime time I bought the original App I believe two summers ago and was really happy with it I even used it on my iPad2 when I got that I was tempted to buy this app thinking that the user experience of the full iPad app would be better but boy was I disappointed The application crashes constantly while doing so it loses your settings and waypoints that you had modified And to top it all off it seems massively slower than the old app running even on my old iPhone 3 Way to drop the ball particularly for clients that already gave you money for the earlier version     Horrible experience with this App fbartolini
