I wish there was something like this when I was growing up Math wouldve been much more fun Im glad that theres apps like Math Monkey nowadays that actually teach you something I saw my 8 year old nephew playing with it and so I got it too He is obsessed with it Not only is he entertained in a healthy way I hate those violent games that only teach kids how to be aggressive but he is actually learning something valuable In my opinion its great not just for kids but for anyone Its very entertaining and it keeps your brain active Simply Great
If you are looking for a substitute for angry birds I suppose this is fine If you are looking for a math teaching tool this game is not so good The focus is more on game play and not math concepts It has the form of a drill and kill but with not enough drill Really if you are just trying to move your children away from other games then its maybe ok But it does not excel at teaching math or reinforcing math concepts Not a very good educational tool

Monkeys Cupcakes Math Awesome Great app
My nephew watched me play this game all but once and has since been hooked Matt the Monkey as Ive named him is a huge hit and I get to teach addition while having a blast Monkey see Monkey Do
The game is good and helpful However the sling shot is difficult to maneuver to hit the correct answer Especially the highest and lowest positioned answers Not worth the 3 spent Angry Birds sling shot is easier to maneuver than this game Could be useful but you spend to much time retrying to play Which causes loss of interest for myself 8 year old and 17 year old Sling shot
Dont waster your time and moneythis is nothing like angry birdscant aim the cupcakes to save your lifemy kids dont enjoy it and frankly I think I am just going to cut my losses and DELETE it Just get angry birds
The idea for this game is great However its such a pain in the butt to try to load a cupcake into the slingshot and even worse to aim it You wind up becoming so frustrated with the whole thing you just quit I paid 2 for this and my son and I both monkeyed around with it for an hour just to give it a fair shake And then I deleted it Math Monkey flings poo
