This app is broken and does not work It does none of the things the developer says it does No menu no settings and when you load a url to play it stops immediately and goes back to a blank screen I am going to demand a refund Apple for this so called app If I can t get a refund from Apple or the developer I am going to do a charge back I have never bought an app this worthless before STAY AWAY a and keep your money I would give zero stars if I could     Worst app I have ever purchased RJ in the MTNS

I use this app mainly to stream and download local entertainment files on a Seagate Personal Cloud drive and the quality is consistent and of great value After not having much luck with other apps which I don t know how they get better reviews than this player I took the dive and made a five dollar bet that this app would be the best player for my home network The real world usage scenario that made me give it a five star review was when I had to travel and wanted to bring offline entertainment with me It flawlessly downloaded a few movies and TV shows in seconds and the files were AVI with AC3 codec a format not natively supported on the iPad Other apps would promise this type of universal playback but MCPlayer offers the best quality all around It ought to be added to the Essentials bundle                     Great PnP Media Server app BuckNasty84

Seems like a really nice app It s got a polished look and feel and is easy to use However I ve had two issues with it that diminishes the apps usefulness Streaming videos with menus makes the app unable to display any video at all and although it streams video without menus just fine I get no sound with the video So not sure what s up with that I can deal with the menus but lack of sound is an issue i haven t figured out yet             Polished app but Iggep

I have used this app for about a week now Seems to work pretty well using a windows 7 PC However media server isn t always found using my iPad unless I stop and restart the server Not sure if this is a configuration issue with my win 7 machine or something else When I use the media servers built in search for connected devices My iPad is returned as an unknown to me named device Akuda I know it is my iPad because I am using a static IP I have since rename the device in the list so that I can identify it easily I will continue to use this app and update this review if I notice a change in the app s performance                 Works well ArtfromDon
