Meditate - Meditation Timer

This app hasnt been updated in ages and does not function correctly with iOS 81 The timer stops when the screen lock kicks in     Abandoned

It is simple and straightforward Works well           Its ok

Ive used for years but it no longer works after upgrade to I OS 8 Ill keep it around for a short time hoping for an update        No longer works with iOS 8

399 for an app that is literally just a timer COME ON Ive been using Simply Being and LOVE it but I was looking to change it up with some different background sounds When I saw Tibetian Bells or whatever theyre called in the description I thought that meant actual background sound But no it means literally just a little bell that goes off when your time is up This is a RIP OFF I have no idea what all the positive reviews are about     Can I get a refund

I had issues where the app would freeze or the bell would not sound The only two sittings with this app it never alerted me that my time was up I will update my rating once these issues are corrected        Freezes

Ive been using this app for a long time and while the app itself is wonderful it randomly freezes So I have to delete lose all my data and redownload That data has helped me keep my meditation practice on track and at least 8 times Ive lost it all Plus the app has failed when I havent had online access so Ive downloaded a fall back app just in case Wish the quirks could be worked out on this one so I could trust it wouldnt randomly fail           If only it didnt crash

This has needed an update for a few years now It no longer seems to work at all With iOS 8 the timer aspect of it the only useful function no longer times correctly if the phone locks or sleeps I used this for years Its sad to say goodbye     No longer works Update

I use it every day and it works well for me It performs its function which is to pull me out of meditation when I want it to Plus if I am interrupted I can pause the session and restart whenever              Good

Unable to listen to or buy additional sounds It freezes every time I contacted the company twice They never responded     Does not work

I use this app twice a day Its easy does the job You can have 4 different versions set up and easily choose I have a silent version no bells for times when I dont want to disturb others And I have different lengths of meditation to fit my schedule I feel its well designed and cant think of anything that would make it better                 Works Great

Love this app but have been unable to use since iOS 8 was released When activated the meditation timer stopsdoes not continue when the screen goes into sleep mode Kindly update ASAP     Update for iOS 8 please

Do not purchase if you have updated your iOS This has been my meditation timer for almost 4 yearstill recently It no longer works while your phone is locked All started after I updated my iOS So disappointed Tried all the suggestions on the website nothing works I email the creators and there was no replyShameful I noticed that other reviews about the same issue are now goneShameful Contacted Apple and they replied they just sell it and there is nothing they can doShameful Plenty of better apps out there     Was a 5 star now a 1

Ive used and loved this app for a long time but has not worked since updating to iOS 8 Ill keep it around for awhile hoping for an update but not too long        Desperately needs updating

Cant use this timer app in a quite meditation room since every touch is making a notice Its annoying and no way to turn the sound off Preset timers are good but the font size of the title is too small     Too noicy

I had really hoped this app would enable me to not only set an interval time but also choose the number of intervals What it does instead is divide the total meditation time by the interval time and sets the number of intervals accordingly Sometimes you want only ONE interval or intervals of different times Also the chime sounds are limited and very tinny sounding I purchased another similar app with the same limitations so I feel I wasted my money on this one        Just so so

I was a long time user of this app but for some reason it stops counting down when the phone screen shuts off Ive asked for support a number of times with no response        Disappointed

This has been my daily meditation timer for years The simplicity is perfect for moving into meditation without over thinking it I usually to choose a particular background image many of which are peaceful landscapes to suit my intention I find the default tingsha chimes pretty                 Beautiful and Elegant

This app a has worked well for me for several years but quit working correctly with iOS 8 Hangs without alarming Gongs I purchased went away when I removed and reloaded     Needs an update for iOS 8 Developer must be in Trance

This is a great timer but it doesnt work under iOS 8 The developer says they are working on a fix but it is taking longer than they expected Im not sure they are actually supporting it anymore it hasnt been updated in several years     Perfect timer UPDATE

This has been a stellar meditation timer for years with terrific features and sounds while remaining simple to use and uncluttered in its interface Id give it an enthusiastic five stars except that now with iOS 8 it freezes with every use and requires a reinstall thus causing a loss of all presets and meditation tracking data Customer service was particularly unhelpful Please update and restore this to the great app it was        Used to be great

Meditator has been my favorite app for ages but no longer rings through sleep mode so I switched to the Meditate app Still does not ring through sleep mode but at least has a setting to keep phone awake Really dislike the tinny included sounds and app freezes whenever I even listen to one of the purchasable bowl sounds Attempts to purchase also freeze app     Buggy

Constantly freezes and stops working Its clear this app hasnt been updated or debugged in a very long time at least since iPhone 4 edition     Extremely buggy

App has not been updated for the iPhone 5cs which is a big bummer because the developer could have taken advantage of the additional real estate No iOS 7 updates either Despite this its a versatile app and very customizable Cant access stats except at the end of a sitting session or when you go all the way into preferencessettings If all of these were addressed this would easily get 5 stars from me The thing I love most about the app is the ability to set up to four customizable programs and times I have one for my morning sitting and contemplative practices one for my eveningnight time sitting one for open sitting and even one for journaling Having the gong sound options is nice in addition to the number of times that they ring This way I can start the day with 3 use the rin for contemplations end the morning with two and then end the day with 3 Traditional but technologically advanced           Versatile But Few to No Updates

I have tried all of the most popular meditation apps and this one is my favorite It is easy to use with great bells I especially like how easy it is to set up and to change things quickly                 Effortless

Love this app Use it daily for morning meditation and have used it for yoga too yin to keep time between poses Really a great value and it works as it ought with interval timers you can preset various timers etc Have no complaints with using it Really intuitive design                 Great little meditation app
