Microsoft Flight Simulator Special Magazine Volume 1 - The Essential Guide Brought to you by Key Publishing Ltd, Europe s Leading Aviation Publisher. This 100-page PC Pilot magazine special issue features a collection of tutorials, articles and ...
This is the first App review Ive ever written but the only other review of this product is so jaundiced that I had to provide some objective balance This is an excellent recreation of the printed guide to MS Flight Simulator 2004 and FSX produced by the creators of PC Pilot an excellent monthly magazine for flight sim enthusiasts been a subscriber for years and yes it is published in the UK as stated clearly on the second line of the app description So What The UK has always had a more active fan base for PC based technical simulators of all types than the US Get over it and take advantage of their enthusiasm Flight simulation like the aviation industry is an international endeavor The complaint about pages starting blurry and then coming into focus is simply the progressive loading of a graphic This is an industry standard and is actually quite convenient as it allows you to flip through a page before it finishes loading if it is not the page you want Each pair of pages pages load 2 at a time so the opposite page is preloaded takes an average of 2 seconds to load even on the original iPad 1 This is no small feat as each page is a full page graphic image The navigation system is nice as you have a very responsive ribbon bar of LARGE thumbnails of each page at the bottom making it very easy to find the page you want Remember this is an exact recreation of a magazine format guide ads and all The only downside to this is that the aspects related to current technology get dated rather quickly Thats were subscriptions to magazines and blogs are valuable It an excellent guide to a hobby that at the enthusiast level has been largely abandoned in the US even by its creators For 595 its money well spent in a pastime that eats all the expensive hardware you can throw at it It helps you make better hardware purchasing decisions and get the best use out of what you currently have Blue Skies                 Excellent
This magazine may have good content but I couldnt look at it past the first few pages Some idiot thought it would be hip or cool to have every page start all blurry and then slowly go into focus I personally cant think of anything Id rather look at less including a big pile of dog doodoo Theres probably a reason people see the little spinning things that tell them to wait that something is loading that is about to pop up I dont think flashing a big pile of dog poop will ever get any more popular than a blurred page replacing the little spinning symbol that tells us to wait I dont know if Im ever going to go blind but using this app is too close for me to find out It also seems to be from England so everything I saw in the first few pages after it became unblurred was unfamiliar Prices places planes everything     Absolutely horrible
Blurry Everything is blurry Why would the developer make text difficult to read Its blurry Makes As Much Sense As One Word Sentences     Fsx fan
