This app is buggy and it crashes constantly It used to work but it s been a year since they ve updated it and its nearly useless at this point Misfit is a terrible company I had one of their fitness trackers and that was awful too     Infuriating anneapalooza

A year since they ve updated the app The UX isn t all that intuitive The iOS widget turns lights on and off faster then the app The app has progressively gotten worse To change color or dim I have to physically turn the lights on and off turn off on Bluetooth close open app and that doesn t always work I m going to look into a new lighting system Two stars for working properly every now and then         So many functional issues MykkeP

One light is fine in the entire house Once you get more then one bulb in different rooms it all falls apart If you need help from the support tab the app crashes     Meh xEliteMegamanx

For me it does what I want it to do I have only one bulb My iPhone is running 10 3 3 The app is V 1 11 3 I don t use the wake up or sleep timer No issues with Bluetooth or the app When I enter the room with the bulb I open the app and turn it on No issues ever It would be nice if I could create my own light patterns That would be cool to play with                 Works for me plimfpt

It never stays paired it doesn t pair automatically when my phone comes in range the brightness dimness doesn t scale reliably if you try to set a wake up time and also used the bedtime timer the wake up starts at HOLY CRAP NOONDAY SUN rather than rosy fingered dawn shall I go on     Love the hardware the software suuuuuuuucks Gnatlet

This app used to be fine It set different colors allowed quick access from the Notification Center and had a sleep timer etc It still does some of these things The widget doesn t work and the connection to the bulbs seems to take longer with less reliability The app hasn t gotten anything but bug fixes every few months for the last year or two I guess you can t expect much from a watch company to support light bulbs but it would be nice to see some added features and updated reliability for new versions of iOS     I used to love this jackgopack4

I have had these bolts for many months now I do like the bulbs very much and have them in many rooms That s the good The app that s the VERY BAD It is extremely slow to recognize the bulbs even when sitting within a foot Bulbs are dropped from my groupings causing me to continually have to replace them in the proper group Even then it often will not control all bulbs in that group I have repeatedly disconnected all built and re paired them still no love It would be nice to have a feature to set sunrise and sunset to begin the day and end the day Overall the app is completely frustrating and a headache to use overall unreliable Which is a shame because I really want to love it but I do not     App is an under preformer Chronikhippy

I bought my bolts while they were on super sale A year or so later I completely understand why they were so cheap This app itself is terrible WHEN it even works It has massive usability issues like upgrades to the bolts Why do I have to do that one by one Doesn t work with HomeKit it never remembers room associations correctly and bolts keep popping out into the default group and aside from all that the Bluetooth connectivity is shotty at best I often find myself having to reset the app the even connect Fast forward as of the iOS 10 release I cannot connect to any bolt period from 3 different Apple devices I ve contacted Misfit support at least a half a dozen times regarding this and they haven t even bothered to respond Customer service is apparently the only thing they care less about than maintaining his product Don t waste your time this product is complete trash Im done dealing with these bozos and their half assed product I m switching to Phillips Hue or Lutron     Stay away complete trash brandonblack

There are a lot of oversights that make it considerably less useful I love that it will wake me up to a sunrise but what if I don t want my bedroom to look like part of a red light district at 5 30am What if I want the light to slowly but surely get brighter Why can t I make my own wake up scene Same with the gradual dim sleep timer this would be fantastic EXCEPT that it doesn t dim from the level of brightness my bulbs are set at Nothing impedes winding down for the night like having my 20 50 brightness suddenly double just so it can gradually dim often at a weird rate depending on the time you put in Haven t figured it out all the way because its not that useful as is I wish I could control these from multiple iOS devices I did find a workaround by putting a Link in the rooms that I have bulbs in so essentially I m back to having a switch tiny remote Sigh Also why do I have to update all bulbs Why can t I pick and choose based on which ones I m near Update I wrote this review a year ago Nothing has been fixed Let s talk about switching scenes if I go from one scene to the next suddenly it s at full brightness Regardless of what my bulbs were at before Seriously I bought these bulbs only 3 of the 4 still work btw so that I could control the level and temperature of light based on how awake or focused I needed to be and it s counter productive at this point I m switching to Phillips Hue     I want to love this but Harst035

After receiving the Bolt for Christmas I was at first disappointed at the fact I was given a smart lightbulb But after getting this thing plugged in and synced to my phone I wish I could have more I must have gotten lucky with a good bulb and app connection because after reading all of the other reviews I haven t experienced any of the issues people are talking about My bulb has never lost connection unless I made the mistake of going and flipping the light switch instead of using the app So far so good with the current version of the app                 Pleasantly surprised tyler.0

I m not sure what the point is of having lighting controlled by an app on my phone that only lapses into doing whatever it wants to do the instant my phone is out of range Yes while I m right next to my Bolt I can change color brightness and turn it off And that s the biggest problem turning it off If I m standing right next to it with my phone I can turn it off Take the phone out of range and it turns itself back on Correct me if I m mistaken but when I turn something off it should STAY off until I turn it back on Sadly that just does not seem possible with the Bolt light and Misfit Home app Returning mine today     Utterly useless not ready for prime time tschneider213
