Mobile Harpejji is the first and unique simulator of the Harpejji, a fantastic new instrument created by Tim Meeks and made by Marcodi, for the Ipad. For more information about the Harpejji, please visit www.marcodi.com This ...
I m grateful for this app as it gives me the opportunity to explore the Harpejji I like the layout of the user interface with its many value added features But there is room for improvement in sound quality There are many pops and hisses on my iPad 3 The bass notes have better fidelity but the higher notes often don t sound like strings at all they have a shrill synthesizer tone             I like it but Mark Winters
App is great in concept and allows one to experience the harpejji s fretboard layout at life size and an approximation of the sound with handy scale and chord overlays for learning one s way around and options for reverb and pitch bending In active development as of early 2016 some remaining rough edges sound is prone to clicks and pops at least on the older devices I ve used it on and notes in quick runs tend to drop or fuzz out bass notes are very quiet in relation to the rest scroll bars are easy to hit while holding a note moving the view to an unexpected area of the fretboard text is pixelated and note overlays show through controls oddly All that said it s an excellent resource for learning about a unique instrument and although I don t find it playable in a performance sense I ve spent hours practicing on it and expect to continue Feature suggestions additional and or configurable scales option to turn off scroll bars in app volume control for the bass strings                 Only simulator for a fascinating instrument ShawnMcB
The full version is capable of bends slides and vibrato So Much Better I still have some glitches and cutouts in the sound but it is a descent emulation to represent the instrument I want to see how my fingers work with the chordal and scale patterns This will help me determine if I should make the investment in the instrument                     DDC+/_
I really was excited about this emulation because I love natural stringed instruments like this The problem is its responsiveness and playability There s not much of it They need to make the response much more sensitive Also there s a very slight lag from when you hit the fret to when the sample starts This lag seems to very slightly vary so playing any thing fast and complex becomes increasingly sloppy If they could fix this and add more layers of samples at different velocities it would maybe start to play like an instrument I sincerely hope they do because it could turn into a great little software instrument                 Great instrument ok emulation Emilshere
Slide and bend options are backwards on my version Bend is up down and slide is left right should be opposite Please fix         Bug bug Omega287
Pros it is a good testing format to a harpejji gives you appropriate finger spacing and sounds great Cons limited play area which is to be expected from any iPad app trying to mimic any instrument also with this version there isn t any slide feature its more like a keyboard in that retrospect also the responsiveness needs a little improving My take cool program there is great potential here to make a great app Worth the can t wait to see how well this app improves hey apple maybe adding this to your garage band instruments Maybe Soon I give is 4 of 5 stars                 Pros and cons Dorgesoft
Unfortunately after paying for this and downloading the update it crashes every time I open it Don t waste your money     Waste of money Doctor Benway
Excellent tool for training I tried this on my 9 year old niece who plays the Violin and piano She could see the chord correlation from the piano on this app and then apply it Glad to see you give Tim Meeks Jason and Marcodi their props Suggestions Allow the choice of using Flats and Sharps so in teaching the scales it would be easier to follow                 Training Nerakwms-(KW)
