Sync can be difficult and not reliable iPad version crashes all the time particularly during searche Needs some more bug fixes        Needs improvement

Had high hopes for this app to allow me to do more powerful edits and inking in One Note I tried wifi sync didnt work I tried Cloud sync didnt work Complete utter waste of     Just awful

I have used this app for several years now with WiFi Sync and I cant count how many times it has crashed and corrupted data on three different iPads The latest update with current WiFi Sync client loaded and working immediately caused sorting problems with sections but otherwise synced changes I tried dropping all data and syncing everything again After this full sync the app crashed at every startup Thats one major problem as I could no longer access my data However I next tried just deleting the app restarting redownloading and trying again has required these drastic steps on several occasions After deleting the app and restarting the iPad the deletion somehow completely mangled my entire iPad I could no longer access any online content from any app even though WiFi showed connected Resetting network settings and completely resetting the iPad to factory defaults did not clear the damage The only resolution was to put the iPad in Recovery Mode and reflash the entire firmware Crazy enough I tried reloading the app one more time on the completely reloaded iPad and was greeted once again with a crashing app after a full resync of my one notebook I give up Dont bother with this company     Not Only HalfBaked Now Dangerous

This is a service disguised as an application The App itself has greatness potential however its shrouded by yet another online cloud service that wants your monthly monetary contributions I dont need another cloud service What I had hoped for was an application that would unlock OneNote potential from the MS ecosystem Instead of delivering on this requisite the developer layers in yet another service atop of the MS ecosystem Its not wise to have personal information spread across too many cloud services This only creates a larger attack vector for precious personal data and increases cost Keep your app and Ill keep my money and data     Service Disguised as an App

I fell for the whole thing I paid for 12 mth subscription for Cloud and then when that didnt work I bought the WiFi Received a series of error messages and never could pair the iPad to my PC I am out 3000 Dont buy it     Not very happy

Doesnt look good on retina display           Need better retina support

Do you even bother testing your product prior to publishing your product Nothing like sitting in a meeting and not having uptodate notes with you because you cant sync And the sync client isnt even free Fix your product or I will take this to the next level Got one star because I cant give it a ZERO     No longer syncs

The app has come a long way and can be useful if you are only using simple note taking and storage Seen instability in updates and with its proprietary cloud and wifi sync utility Would have rated higher if syncing worked consistently        Good effort but unstable

I bought an IPad when I realized this app was available that would let me take notes in class on the IPad then transfer them to my OneNote program on my PC I was in heaven Although there are not as many keyboard options as other apps like Evernote like creating headings etc I just cleaned up my notes when I transferred to the PC I used it flawlessly for four semesters Unfortunately I am in the same boat as some other reviews When I went to set up my IPad and PC for this current 2012 Spring semester the app no longer syncs I used it successfully through December 2011 So this makes the app useless for me Right now I am using Evernote but hopefully the developer will fix whatever bug is bothering this app because I much prefer having all my school notes in my OneNote program        What happened to this app

I was less than thrilled to see the cost but gave it a go anyway I mean I already have onenote that I paid for and am not using so why not see if Ill use this one Nope A year later I have exactly one note in it Deleted 3 stars because it actually functions and allows picture attachments 1 for cost of sync 1 since the functionality is a bit annoying It just doesnt work the way I do           15 to sync to pc via wifi

IM SO MAD RIGHT NOW Im a high school student just started actually and I thought I could just use a simple free note book app in school instead of a whole bunch of notebooks and binders so I looked up free notebook apps to see what I would get I personally like to have a nice cover on what I use plus I have a apple table so the amount of space and apps i can get is important and I dont have iOS7 so Im still bumbled out but heck and then I found this one which looked SO promising to me i downloaded it it actually did download so I was happy about that but when I got on the app it said that I had make a Microsoft account and then pay 15 dollars on it AND IT DOSNT EVEN LET YOU TYPE IN A MUCH LESS GET ONE WHICH MAKES ME SO UPSET AND I AM NOT GONNA DOWNLOAD ANTHOR PRODUCT FROM THIS COMPANY FOR A WHILE UNTIL I CAN ACTUALLY USE THE APP WITHOUT HAVING AN ACOUNT AND PAYING 15 DOLLARS FOR SOMETHING SO TRIVAL I hate giving a bad review like this Im sorry to the creators of this app but seriously if you have to pay for something like that on a FREE writing app and suddenly you HAVE to pay 15 dollars just to use the thing wouldnt you have been upset ESPECIALLY if you saw that the app looked just perfect for you so Im sorry but it is a really bad app until those things can be changed     SOMEONE SHOULD HAVE SAID THAT YOU HAD TO PAY 15 DOLLARS JUST USE THE APP

App wont sync so the app is practically useless Their email support is absolutely dreadful Ask a question wait days for a response If they had told me from the beginning that this was a known issue I wouldnt have spent months trying to fix it believing the problem was at my end Wasting money on the app is one thing but its the sheer amount of time that Ive spent on this issue that really has me peeved For your own sanity stay well clear of this app     Bad product awful customer service

Removed it from from iPad and computer Never was able to resolve the wifi sync issue Followed every instruction provided Even tried recommendations from a google search I had to have translated into English Waited and waited for a new releasecricketsThen waited for response from Tech Supportcricketschirpchirpchirp Dont waste your money or time     Syc fail

I totally wasted on this app It never synced without crashing None of the workarounds solved the issue After the attempts to contact customer support I politely asked for my money back Only a week had gone by and since I could never get it to work any business with an ounce of integrity would have done the right thing and refunded my money Or heck at least give me some fixes to try first Nope Nothing Now that OneNote 2013 has arrived I dont have much hope that the app will be upgraded to work with it Dont waste your money like I did The free OneNote app from Microsoft at least works     No customer support

I cant live without OneNote I can live without OneNote on my iPad but having my OneNote files with me where ever I go is really nice Its sad that the official Microsoft OneNote mobile app is outshined by the functionality of MobileNoter specifically the ability to sync files and drawing but thats another story MobileNoter is great when it works but thats only once in a blue moon I along with so many others are unable to sync reliablyIve been fighting MobileNoter all day long trying to get a few notebooks syncd So far Ive had to reset the MobileNoter iPad app 3 times two reinstalls reinstalled the PC app twice delete the tempMN folders more times than I can count etc If I werent so addicted to OneNote I would have given up on MobileNoter several versions agobut no Im a glutton for punishment so I keep fighting it keep trying it and keep getting frustrated by it Im an IT professional and I find this software to be REALLY annoyingat best I cant imagine the hell that nontechnical people must go through when their syncing breaks     LoveHate

Well I saw all of the bad reviews and I was hoping that only people with issues bothered to complain After all it DID have 174 5 star reviews and 112 4 star reviews RIGHT Well Im sad to say it is as bad as I read The notebooks just wouldnt sync either through the Cloud or WiFi I am a computer guru so I did all of the troubleshooting to no avail I only wish I could get back the one hour of my life I spent working on it Maybe it will work for you at least it was free to try I hope they fix it one day because there really is a void for a product like this Good luck     What a waste

This app used to be ok Then it was updated and the sync never works The author is unable or unwilling to provide support It seems there is just an autoresponder saying uninstall reinstall Which of course does not fix the problem I had signed up for the yearly cloud sync money down the drain Even when the sync used to work the editor was terrible Bugs with the keyboard unable to scroll unable to remove blank lines etc Hopefully MS one day will release OneNote for the iPad     Crashes constantly

For those of us Apple users this appeared to be EXACTLY what i was looking for OneNote for the iPad Unfortunately what wasnt mentioned in the writeup was that unless you are a OneNote user Im not this app is of little use The current version 242 doesnt let you create new notebooks or sections So you can ONLY download a OneNote doc and work on it from there Good thing this version was free because its worth exactly what I paid for it I look forward to the time in which this becomes a useful app for us nonMicrosofties Until then Ill have to find another app instead Nice missed opportunity BTI This was just what I wanted and I cant use it     Extreme frustration

once upon a time this worked well now that it has been updated it is not worth the time spent trying to get it to synch the wifi version was great but now i spend more time moaning and groaning glad now that i didnot get the cloud version     going bald trying to get it to work

I bought this to be able to get at my Microsoft One Note notebooks on my iPad Unfortunately the sync functionality has yet to work and the MobileNoter team cant figure it out Im going to ask for my money back        Unreliable sync

This app claims to be a power note taking program yet it is incapable of creating notebooks or sections     Cant Create Notebooks

Like others here Ive had major issues wth sync and setup I like the app itself but think 15 is too much and I also just dont have the confidence in the app to plunk down 15really really want a fast reliable solution for syncing OneNote to my iPad wo using cloud services        Intesresting functionality but sync is messed up

Dont waste your money on this I had WiFi syncing problems Contacted Support Got no help Spent the extra money and purchased option for Cloud syncing It didnt work either Contacted customer support again GOT ZERO RESPONSE     Terrible Customer Support

This is a great app I sync through the subscription cloud and it is awesome Would be nice to have iCloud support Errors every once in a while But for the most part I am getting what I need I left off a star mainly for Needs option to add images via camera not just camera roll better graphics and better bullet support Could also have a little better design Check out the 2do app I love that interface              Awesome

Had high hopes for the update but wifi sync still fails in the same way it has for the past many months Therefore the app earns a 1 star rating Despite repeated attempts the developers are unable to fix the crashes in wifi sync even though it worked perfectly before they changed the sync engine several releases ago Considering that they have stopped communicating with me then I suspect they have given up in trying to fix it and have put their effort into cloud sync Unfortunately my company will not allow cloud sync for security reasons so that is not an option Until wifi sync is fixed then I would recommend that you continue to stay away from this app     Still not ready for prime time

I would spent about 7 for this app not 15 for the synch to PC only version and I would buy it only if I can synch with OneNote files on Microsofts SkyDrive Otherwise this app is looking nice So to be competitive make the synch free and charge less I am sure BT Inc is not listening so keep your software for now        Not optimal

Would give 5 stars but I am unable to sync as the app keeps crashing on my iPad My iPhone just says error so the app is not crashing there Please fix ASAP I will gives glowing review complete with 5 stars When working correctly this is my most important app I love being able to sync and not have to carry everything around with me        Glitches need fixed

To many tabs and when you click on a tab more tabs pop up then you cant go to the last tab in the book unless you start the search over Confusing Exactly Its very annoying not to mention confusing but once you read the directions which is totally impossible from all the tabs it kinda makes sence Great idea needs a new update such as creating our own notebooks or flipping pages Id advise you to not get the app yet and try any other note app        Confusing

The early version version 23 of MobileNoter used to work very well with my many large notebooks containing more than 20 notebooks of more than 2GB data However since the update of this program version 24 30 the program has NEVER worked with my notebooks Very often during the WiFi syncing I often see the massage loading the server data And sorry the network is not available Since the situation happens so often I have to sync one or two notebooks at a time and this way works often although not always Yet after syncing beyond some magic number of notebooks the program crashes and corrupts my notebooks and then I have to delete the MobileNoter app again and reinstall the app again I do not remember how many times I have repeated this process It is quite annoying and frustrating I am a person who does not give up the thing easily Yet not for this current version of MobileNoter Now the current version can only sync about 25 of my notebooks and only has 25 capacity of the old version Yet life has to go on and fortunately I switch to use the equivalent app available in the AppStore At least it can sync more than 20 notebooks of more than 2GB data without any problem I used to be a MobileNoter fan and have not been for quite a long time I really hope that the MobileNoter development team should work harder to solve the fatal error in the program Otherwise MobileNoter will lose customers as time goes on        Wifi syncing is not robust and can work with small notebooks

When this app works it is clearly the most functional iOS app available for syncing with OneNote Unfortunately its sync WiFi at least is the most frustrating fragile and unreliable thing I run on my iPad And it seems to get worse with each release not better Its a shame because I like MobileNoter but Im moving on to Outline Its readonly on the iPad at the moment but it reads native Windows OneNote files so you can just sync with iTunes or Dropbox Ironically this appears to be the architecture of MobileNote SE versions that MobileWare offers for other platforms Wish theyd offer that version for iOS        OK I Give Up

This is misleading because its just a trial version Nothing wrong with charging for a product but they should say it up front Its not free           Misleading

Ive closed my account and will uninstall this app It used to work great but the sync client hasnt worked for me for some time and multiple requests for help from their support folks have been fruitless This had great promise and theres still a need for an app that does what this one was supposed to do     Its a shame

I was really curious to see what this app could do despite the negative reviews Turns out they were right Dont waste your money     Such a disappointment

Honestly I love this app It synchs perfect every time and works extremely well for me I do pay for the synch service and find it well worth the money Definitely mixed reviews here but I do use it heavily every day and its well worth the time to see if it will work for you                 Works exactly like I want

I tried it with OneNote 2007 with an existing notebook The onenote page would not scale for the iPad so it was a pain to read and navigate Pinch to zoom is not a good solution here it should just autoscale to fit It was hard to select text as it would either choose a line way below where I selected or it would select the whole onenote box So even selecting a line in a list where you want to type was hit or miss After a few minutes trying to use this app it suddenly started saying the file was corrupt after using that notebook exclusively in this app so this app must have corrupted the file When using it in landscape mode you cant close the left navigation bar so you lose valuable screen real estate There are practically no settings to adjust In short this app was a waste of time At least there was a free trial so I did not lose money Now to uninstall this thing     Does not work well

I was a happy early customer and then became very disappointed before this new update The responsiveness to problemscomplaints became nil Syncing was basically non existent and froze the program I was so disappointed However I gave it another try when this new version came out and I LOVE it They really addressed the sync issues I had to uninstall both the app and the windows client but once reinstalled the syncing is working like a charm The editing features are working great and adding or deleting a page no longer causes the program to crash and close The interface is clean and easy to use I still think quick notes and add a quick note are redundant and unnecessary and the desktop background would be better if it was customizable but the notebooks themselves are nice and carryover as the color selected in Onenote The program is usable again So much better guys Thanks              So much better

First Sync on my iPad 1 worked fine Subsequent syncs didnt pass changes in either direction Now I get an sync error Tech support has you remove files etc etc Did that same problem again Love OneNote this progrand however at 15 for WIFI sync is a total rip How hard is it to set up a WIFI sync and pass a few files I mean really I have multiple programs that sync up just fine why not this one     Great Concept Pathetic Implementation

Emptied my cloud storage uninstalled Windows version and deleted iPad version Im done Meanwhile I noticed theyre adding additional platforms and Im sure taking new cusotmer money Too bad they cant or wont fix problems and respond to support emails Enough is enough     No longer works reliably support not responsive

Finally there is an app that works to sync your OneNote notebooks to an iPad There are a few things that I was not eased with though I would rather see direct sync with Skydrive rather than setting up yet another cloud account Having a second cloud for us users who are already using Microsofts Skydrive is opening up too much possibility for conflicts I would rather pay 15 for this app and use Skydrive than pay 15 for another cloud service Secondly the synchronization seems to take unnecessarily long However I will say that once completed it was pretty much identical from the iPad to OneNote on my PC Lastly functionality is a little glitchy I was not able to add bulleted lists or change my font size when entering text Having a magnified view similar to an app like Notability would be a huge plus too Overall this is a decent application for syncing with OneNote It is actually the only app that unlocks full functionality for OneNote on your iPad It just needs a few adjustments to win me over           I Like Your Concept But

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH COMPANY I have fiddled with this program for months It just has problems One day it will sync the next day nothing server issues in wifi duplicates files erratic support Now it locked up with this spinning display it will have to go with the trash can with the 1599 for the crap app I asked for my money back and they went silent So save your money until a real version comes out     Save your money It

It has a pretty UI but its pointless Especially since you have to get a license after 30 days Evernote is way better and syncing is free     Waste of time

I had to uninstall it because it stopped syncing correctly with OneNote on my PC forfeiting the one year subscription I paid for in full Its too bad because its much better than Evernote functionally Ill reinstall it when they get it working again     Worked great at first then stopped syncing correctly
