Money for iPad - Your sweetest accounting application

Why no field to show a running balance for each account Add that and its 5 stars Syncs just fine with the desktop demo Thinking of replacing iBank with this program since iBank sync no longer works              One missing feature

they promised iCloud syncing when I purchased and then removed the feature so I wasted my money Now syncing barely works over wifi over iCloud it was flawless They are getting worse and the customer service is terrible     terrible app dont buy

Changed my rating for 1 to 4 because you brought back wifi sync get iCloud to work with wifi optional and will give 5 Keep it up              Thanks for bringing back wifi sync

Pretty good app but lacks the printing cappability a must to really keep track of your expenses Printing could be replaced by mailing the reports or something of that order              Very goodbut

The Mac version never opens to the last file regardless of what the developer says but I learned to live with it I recently got an iPad and figured it would be nice to have Money on the iPad Syncing between the two is all but useless Users have been complaining for years that Jumsoft cant get their act together and fix the syncing between the iOS and Mac version and apparently they still havent got it to work     Not impressed

I bought this app today and it is already one of my favorites Havent tried the sync yet so we will see Apps like this should be taught in school This app helps to increase financial intelligence and awareness I recommend              Great app

Been using for two weeks Works fantastic Sync works for me It is a bit slow to sync but I would rather it be slow and accurate than fast and mess up my transactions Sync has been very accurate back and forth between iPad and MacBook I also quite like the interface It is very clean polished and a joy to use unlike other uninspired financialcheckbook apps Jumsoft is all about the design and that is why there app will win out eventually All those Bear LLC apps are horrible I couldnt bear to use them even if they worked wellthey are so fugly Thanks Jumsoft for providing a nice modern design There could be some usability finetuning to make the data entry a wee bit quicker adding date feels clunky but I am sure those will come Also would like to see the ability to reconcile added to iPad app so I dont have to fire up the desktop app to add tick marks against my banks statement Keep up the good work Jumsoft Thanks for finally giving me a checkbook app I can enjoy using in my IPad              Very Very Pleased

Purchased this app to track a very straightforward home budget Initially after working out how to use the app it proved to be very helpful However after one month of use it erased my entire budget that I had patiently put in Fast forward three more months and the application once again deleted all of my information Coupled with the complete failure of the iCloud and I would highly recommend you stay away from this app This is disappointing since this app had great potential Still looking for a usable personal finance app     Started StrongFinished Awful

First I have to say that in general I liked the software very much but this update killed my installation and data After updating to the latest version and answering do you want to connect to Dropbox a new document was created and my existing one with all my data was lost OK maybe I did something wrong I can not reproduce this step but what follows is reproduceable and causes quite some frustration I thought to get a fresh start after loosing all my data I deinstall Money and install it fresh what I did After this step the newly installed application starts with the No Document Tap to create a new document Doing this opens a dialog Downloading from Dropbox with the busy icon which never ends I tried several things in combination rebooting my iPad deinstalling Money several times deinstalling even Dropbox nothing works Downloading from Dropbox never ends I can not use Money on my iPad anymore frustrating     All data lost and application does not response after fresh installation

I have all three Money apps and the iPad version is sort of a middle ground between the very simple iPhone app and the advanced desktop software Its great for entering expenses on the go and has a more convenient way to do that than the iPhone app Also reports look great on iPad although there should be greater selection of report types Overall the look and feel of Money for iPad is pretty much perfect                 almost perfect

Why would you kill iCloud syncing Its one of the biggest reasons I bought the app Now I have to see how long I can go before I update Please bring it back If it was buggy talk to Apple and get it sorted out        iCloud

I worked with this app for two months getting it all set up the way I wanted it However when I tried to sync it from my desktop to the cloud it lost everything data account and everything I had old account info on my iPad so I went to get it to send to my desktop to reupgrade the info But it is also gone Looks like when it lost my info going to the cloud it also ate the older info on my iPad I emailed Jumsoft a week ago today and have received NO HELP        NO HELP

I like the app But I can only open the file from one device If I try to open the file created on my iOS device on my Mac it just spins forever than crashes Same is true in reverse Very annoying           iCloud broken

In the last two weeks I spent a great deal of time searching for the best OSX iOS solution to manage my personal finances At the time it seemed that the Money product line by Jumsoft had the most to offer given my goal of using one product across the different Apple OS platforms The main reason that I selected this product was that I knew that I would benefit from the iCloud technology that Jumsoft recently made available After I made my selection I proceeded to invest quite a bit of time into learning the product building out my categories and subcategories then loading and classifying a couple thousand transactions Today I find out that my main reason that I selected the product iCloud is being removed I develop software for a living so I do know a little about what they are going through However a software company can not just remove features like this and expect to have a bright future In my opinion Jumsoft needs to feel some pain in the way of financial loss so they will think twice about including features they cant support in the future if they have one I will likely continue to use the desktop software but the money I spent on the iPhone and iPad apps is basically a loss     Poor product lifecycle management

Was working then came the update on the Mac and now my iOS devices dont see the Money files created on my Mac Was so happy to have iCloud now I cant sync at all Please fix it        What Happened

Now with iCloud sync this is definitely the best personal finance and budgeting app I have seen I have it on all 3 of my devices MacBook Pro iPhone 5 and iPad Love that they are all three easily synced together without needing my laptop                 Best budgetingpersonal finance app

I find it awesome to sync via iCloud but it doesnt sync everything It seems that it syncronized only the data I had before updating on my iPhone but Ive continued to add transactions and they are not updated on my iPad                 Awesome but

This app is confusing due to the lack of a manual and is difficult to navigate at first Im still trying to figure out what everything is for One note I would like to point out is its privacy capabilities of using a password amazing           clunky but great start

I used to love this application to keep my finances in shape Then came the update with the iCloud sync I bought updated and put it on my iPhone iPad etc just to find out that the syncing is just a pain Its not transparent at all where my data in the cloud is if it is encrypted or not and what is really annoying is that I cant have my finance file on the Mac where I want it to be In short the implementation for iCloud sync is by far the worst I have seen and totally not user friendly nor does the user have any option to change those setting or have further influence not acceptable for a finance app Also totally unclear is why the WiFi Sync had to die Read the reviews for the Mac Application in the OS X AppStore        was once good but after the last update not anymore

This app does most of what I would need in a budgeting app I know the developers are waiting for iCloud to be upgraded before they implement a sync function but what about Dropbox 1Password and many other apps use Dropbox sync beautifully so theres really no excuse not to offer this solution for owners w multiple devices Also another feature that seems to be present in the Mac app but is glaringly absent from the iPhone iPad apps is the ability to reconcile your transactions or at least mark them posted I depend on this functionality everyday to see what transactions have been posted and which ones are still pending I want to use these apps but I just cant depend on them until these features are added Otherwise they are pretty great if you wont miss these features           Almost Great

I was really happy when you guys finally include iCloud sync to the app But turns out it doesnt work I setup the icloud sync on my iphone After finishing the upload and everything i check back to my ipad but nothing shows up Am i missing something here        iCloud sync doesnt work

You can tell by the reviews that sync isnt working When will it work Why release an update when it clearly isnt working     Wheres iCloud Sync

On the whole it is helpful to organize my expenses while I am on a business trip I am sure the accountant will like it My problem till now because I have been using it for a few hours is how to correct a mistake in the payee category Is there any help support Well done              Quite satisfied

So far this app is pretty good but its missing 2 things I think are very important I cant balance an account which is something I do monthly I know you can rectify transactions but this isnt the same as balancing the account Second is the ability to download transactions from my banks This makes for much faster and accurate updating of accounts and should be a part of this app Both features mentioned are on the Mac version but I dont always have access to my Mac I have not had any of the stability issues mentioned in some of the other reviews Nor have I had problems synching with iCloud Ive had both my ipad and iPhone on at the same time and watched changes I made on one device show up on the other within a minute This didnt always happen and sometimes I had to close the apps and reopen to see the change           Good app but missing some important things

I have had the same problem with DropBox synchronisation endless downloading from dropbox This helped for me Disable the internet press Disconnect from dropbox press Disconnect now Enable the Internet Press Connect to dropbox           Endless downloading from dropbox message

Now with iCloud this is the BEST money App                 AMAZING

The four square feature gets in the way I think Not a fan of the ledger etc just isnt practical for my needs I switched to the iBear apps and am happy     Not a fan

It is really a very good app I started using it just recently 2 functionalities might help Transfers between accounts should also if user desires to be linked to categories of expenses For example I have 2 accounts at the same bank One for a loan and other current account The monthly payment is made by a transfer from my current account to the loan account Should be able to synchronize with the same app installed on iPhone              Very good app

Cloud sync has been a big trouble for this and the iPhone app for a long time im giving it five stars because overall the app is awesome and despite the trouble with Dropbox sync the developers seem to be working hard to get it right so you deserve it PD could use an iOS 7 facelift it would be great                 Cloud Sync

Ive been happily using the Mac version for quite a while and bought the iPad version so I could easily access my account information on the go The iPad version has only a limited subset for example no running balances in your accounts so its really not possible to understand how much money you currently have in an account Im told this might be fixed in a new release Id wait for a new release with the ability to see current balances before purchasing even for the 2 I paid        Limited information

I really love this appits everything I need it to be for tracking and planning my budgets HOWEVER it desperately needs DropBox or iCloud syncing or at last some kind of basic data file export As it is if you only have the iPad version theres no backup of any kind which is pretty scary if you put the time into setting it up and logging transactions It would also be nice if it had the ability to download transactions from your various online accounts like the desktop version Thats not as important to me as the backupsync issue though As soon as it gets a syncbackup fix Ill change this review to 5 stars           Great app but seriously needs backup and better syncing

To make a long story short I decided to own this app because I want to help Jumsoft by investing my money 499 Team Jumsoft update your very strong application to the next level please You have really problems iOS version                 Good But work on your great app

But unfortunatelly I can not use the origonal sotware icons                 I love this product
