Brings back memories of playing Strategic Conquest back in the early 90s Missing a few features from the version I remember being able to set patrol parameters rather than random and isn t multiplayer but has been a blast to play again                     Great Memories azentropy34

Three stars for bringing back the classic Empire style game to iOS there doesn t seem to be any other app that replicates the old style of this type of game That said the bad UI UX makes the game unplayable for me Tanks also can cross water for some reason Nice try though             UI is awful billbot

One of the first games I bought for my old Mac plus it s called Strategic Conquest It was easily one of the most addictive and compelling turn based strategy games going Sadly it was never updated to keep up with Mac iOS This game is a wonderful adaptation of it for the iPhone The only drawback is that once you get good the AI will be no match for you                     Fantastic strategic war game redraider-87

The game has many maps and the addition of the option to end the game when conquering a certain portion of the map is also convenient It might be an interesting idea to add maps which are almost all land to enphasize ground type warfare Perhaps one of those maps could also have a single small river with a few bases along it s route to emphasize geound warfare but offer a strategic opportunity to supplement an assault with ships and resources Oh maybe another option where there s a chance the difficulty could get even harder or their resources build twice as fast and different colored teams merge together against the main player as they conquer more of the map Maybe that could be a randomly generated thing Still a fun addicting game                 Additional variety these data leaks

I used to play this game when I was younger on my parents PC It is a great way to fill idle time and I find it very nostalgic Certainly has held up well over time considering how simple it is That being said I do remember the ability in other versions to at leastinclude another human Player to take turns with This version does not even so much as let you choose how many players are going to be on the map computer or otherwise I think the ability to add other human players sorely needed You can get over 300 maps but after a while you were going to be tired of playing against just the computer even on higher difficulty levels Addition of online play would greatly help the longevity of this game Overall it s a great way to waste time but gets boring rather fast specially if you used to play against other people             Great nostalgic game But Crusader57301

Like most reviewers I was a passionate fan of Strategic Conquest and Empire Deluxe and long yearned for an app that would embrace what they did This definitely accomplishes that so this was a great find after years of not being able to play Overall I like most everything about it but it could benefit from a few improvements Most notably I m not in love with the way pieces are directed around the board since you have to engage with each piece individually Could there be a single control panel in a fixed place that serves all pieces so that your hand doesn t have to keep jumping around the board Also it would be great to be able to see all of the units currently in production at once rather than having to click on every city Otherwise this is a really good game that I ve already spent many hours playing                 Brings two classic games back to life General Bud

I spent many late nights as a kid playing Empire Deluxe This is the best version of it for iOS I still play this often and have bought all the maps I hope the developer continues to expand the maps Now I have spent many hours playing this game especially on flights Brilliant game and one of my top 3 if not my 1 go to game                     Best game a true classic Rm787

I love this game and would love to give it 5 stars as it brings back the best of the Strategic Conquest genre of games However the game is crippled on the new iPad Pro because it does not support landscape mode What a missed opportunity Other minor irritants that could be fixed to make it a better game experience need for better color selections for colorblind users crisper graphics and zoom more efficient stack move static aircraft routes This is the best hope so far for old Strategic Conquest players Thanks for doing this app                 Only One Complaint Phoon

I enjoyed the game a lot but it is broken on my new iPhone 6S It won t let you reliably tap on cities and other objects which one needs to be able to do in order to play the game I hope there will be an update Fingers crossed         Broken on iPhone 6S SSimonSays

Can t say enough about this game Very streamlined with many tactical choices I played Empire Deluxe on the PC decades ago and on my iPad now and this version of MoAB is superior The AI plays very aggressively at the Hard and Very Hard levels It can be a real challenge to win at the higher levels of play if you start off in the middle of the map and are surrounded by your enemies Find a corner to defend yourself and build out                     Wonderful Game Tikibob48

This is one of my favorite apps and I have been playing for years They keep updating with new maps to keep the game interesting Yes the maps are in app purchases but for 99 for 20 maps that seems fair price A map takes an hour to complete on very hard level This game is what Risk should have been There are different units with different abilities To conquer the world you must win the air land and sea This is a turn based strategy game that does not require Internet access to play Pro 1 Fog of War you can only see the part of the map where your units are part of the game is just exploration 2 Each unit has a different function but very intuitive tanks for land planes for air four type of ships bombers You will need them all 3 Easy to learn a lot like Risk 4 You can now save multiple games in progress and finish later 5 Many different kinds of maps mountains oceans cities swamps 6 Many different levels play easy you always win Play very hard and I only win 75 of the time and sometimes I have to replay a dozen times to change strategies before I win 7 The game will surrender if you clearly have the upper hand so no need to destroy every city It will show you the entire board once you win but if you like you can refuse and destroy every city 8 Color coded strength bar for your nation so you can see how you are doing compared to all computer players at all times Who is weak and who is strong is known at all times Con 1 You always play against five computer players No option to change computer attributes aggressive passive 2 You can not take back a wrong move 3 Very addictive I sometimes spend 10 15 turns trying to take a continent with back and forth battles 4 You can not stack units on land so when attacking a city you are limited by space for your tanks huge defensive advantage to cities No stacking naval units either 5 It would be nice to have army units to move through forests or mountains but not tanks 6 It would be nice to see number of turns to complete map after winning on the map page so you could go back and try to beat your turn time on each map Instead of just the difficulty level you used to win                     What Risk should be like Science Teacher
