First app wouldnt install new areas fine Ill update Update from 83015 wont install fine Ill uninstall reinstall App wont download install Updated all my other apps tried again Still no Wallowing in such deep lameness Love this app when it works which isnt often

Upon hearing that BD was sponsoring an app for climbers I was obviously very excited Ive needed an alternative to printing out pages from an online guidebook for the Adirondacks and this seemed like the winner Unfortunately the app refuses to work on my iPod 4th gen I am currently running iOS 615 above the minimum requirements as listed by the app creators Knowing that I enjoy BD products and reading the reviews of others I hope this problem can be addressed quickly Until then happy climbing to all Benefit of the doubt

Using the app is great Its really nice to see what crags are available and what routes there are The only downfall is the user interface more specifically with the searching for crags portion It would be nice to see a map of all crags in a state or area Another useful feature would be a crag finder Utilizing the gps in the smartphone and plotting location on a map with crags labeled would be heavenly Cant wait to see what new advances will be now that black diamond is backing the app Keep up the good work Good app with much potential

Latest version is horrible Freezes and locks ups everytime I try to click on a pic Totally useless Latest version freezing

I updated to the latest version and lost ALL my book marks ALL my climbs that I saved Only ones that stayed linked was the routes I had tics and ratings for Now it wont even load white screen only Can someone please help me get all those years of storing back New version is the worst

Also wish there was a better way to see todos so it wasnt one giant unruly list Accessing todos for an area via the area page would be good App freezes when I tap to view a picture on a route

If youre a climber youll love this app Its got a bunch of great features and it is really well put together Awesome

The only thing not working for me is syncing my ticlist and star ratings from my iPhone 5c to my online account Otherwise I use this app quite a bit Use it alot

As far as I can tell this app works exactly as promised May be a few bugs but nothing you cant deal with Mountain Project works

Deleted the app and downloaded it again and its working fine so far Stopped working after upgrade but worked fine after reinstall

Having paid 8 for an earlier version of this application why am I seeing ads Whats up with the advertisements

No crashing for me but the 30 version is actually harder to navigate and only shows classic routes for an area sad I miss the comprehensive older version Newest update removes most climbs

I am so happy to have this app and for that I have it 4 stars This tool is incredibly useful when you dont have your guidebook handy But I think they have room for improvements so I cant give them 100 I am no app designer but I feel like it could be a little more user friendly in the way they display their setup like some of the more up to date apps like chase bank for LinkedIn Take a lesson or two from them Glad its around but still room for improvements

What a fantastic app I use it at every place I climb and Im thankful for all the great features Its free Love it

Downloaded and installed 3 times without much luck to view Yosemite routes This Id junk Crashed Crashed Junk

I used the Mtn Project a lot but its now crashing when I try to open the app Bummer Wha happuned used to work

Mountain project is I its way to be a great platform for route guides Unfortunately the newest revision doesnt open without crashing on my phone Ive also always had problems downloading new areas usually larger ones Crash crash crash

Perhaps its just me but when I download a locations data it occasionally freezes and you can neither pause the download access the information or restart the download or do pretty much anything at all to unfreeze it The only solution I have found thus far is to uninstall and reinstall the app in the hopes that it doesnt happen againbut for me it always does eventually This loses all of your downloaded crag data and it is fairly maddening When it works however having handy mobile access to route info while at the crag is super awesome I will admit Great in concept but needs work

Mountain Project has everything from detailed areas and cool pictures of routes to informative forums Love it Great resource

The new update has improved some things that were lacking area maps loading speed and a few ascetic things that really wasnt too necessary But it screwed up a few things that were already great At a quick glance routes no longer show if they are multi pitches This saddened me the most The layout is pretty but you need both hands to navigate the screen a petty complaint but you used to be able to reach almost all necessary buttons on the screen with one thumb New version needs some patches pitch numbers at a glance first and foremost

The new update is not as user friendly as the old version even after several weeks of using it It takes more steps to get where youre going What upsets me the most is that after updating I lost all my bookmarked areas I spent a lot of time searching for new areas that I havent checked out yet I wish you could search your installed areas by entering certain parameters such as grade sport or trad multipitch etc Overall the app is useful but small improvements could make it way better Old version was better

I originally paid like 6 or something for this app and it worked great I would have given it 5 stars at that point However since the collaboration with black diamond it completely freezes the screen whenever I try to look at or download a picture Im assuming this is a bug they are addressing soon but for now its a pretty useless app What gives

One of the best apps I have ever seen for rock climbing It has every route in almost every state It is amazing If you rock climb I totally recommend this app Mountain project
