Great for streaming and more                 Absolutely wonderful

Had this for almost a year and the constant buffering pauses make it almost unlistenable        Content is great app is horrid

Great app it replaced my radio that would have static fits every once in a while I love listening to mpr at night Id love a timer option so it automatically turns off after a certain time              Timer please

Handy app but it constantly stops and I have to restart the broadcast and relisten to the intro about supporting MPR It even stops when I have access to wireless broadband at home Cant quite figure it out Update still glad to have this app but its always been so buggy Now when someone calls the music actually plays into my ear when Im speaking on the phone I have to go in and pause it           quits all the time

Cannot use the app anymore I turned the alarm on and it disappears when I try to open it I cant even download a new copy     Crash

But it is unreliable Have to delete reinstall multiple times a week Please fix this        When it works its fine

I use this app all the time to listen to MPR while Im traveling or just when Im in a room without a radio It works well for me I also use it sometimes if Im listening to the Current but want to know the name of a song theyre playing since its always displayed on the app                 Great

Ive had no issues with the app great for when I want to listen to the current and dont have a radio                 Awesome

This app does not work with VoiceOver mode None of the buttons have been labeled Since it is totally inaccessible for me and any other blind person using VoiceOver I wish I could give it ZERO stars useless     inaccessible

Latest version is full of glitchesIm a member of mpr and love it but this app doesnt cut it can barely use this app due to constant buffering errors when i open other apps etc this never happened before this version Please bring back old version     This version has glitches

I was really hoping for a working alarm from this update but nopesetting the time crashes the app Ill reinstall and stay away from the alarm for now but please please fix           Alarm function not fixed

When you attempt to set an alarm the app crashes Attempts to reopen the app are futile If you like redownloading the same app over and over continue to use the alarm after each reinstall This should provide you with hours of entertainment     Do not use the alarm option

The stream is constantly buffering Not really worth the effort to install     Buffering

Great idea in principle However when streaming The Current it often switches over to the sponsor message anyone noticed that MPR is getting suspiciously commercial and forecast and the stream never comes back During Morning Edition the stream is lost at 20 and 40 after the hour again right after the sponsor messages and forecast This app is worse than worthless its annoying Load the stream URLs in your browser and run them that way     Loses the stream regularly and predictably

A note popped up on my garage 3GS to update this app Wrong It crashes immediately Luckily I had backup from a few months ago     Crashes on iPhone3GS

Freezes up EVERY timeplease fix        Alarm doesnt work

This app used to be great but now its constantly buffering doesnt work for more than a couple minutes at a time Please update     Please Fix

Revert to a previous version please And why not testdrive the Alarm before releasing it     Trying to use alarm function requires reinstall

Update Well it seems like MPR has given up on this app No updates in well over a year As is I find the app to be pretty worthless for reasons mentioned below Mostly because I work in an environment where I have to pausemute my music often Since the app forces you to listen to an ad every time you unpause the app this becomes very annoying if I have to pause many times in an hour Just take this junk off the app store Its an embarrassment to MPR as is relaunch if you ever have the money to do things right I would also like to restate that I would be willing to pay for an adfree version If its money you need there are people willing to pay Original Review 112013 When I turn mute on your app still makes noise It makes it hard to use in public places Also too many ads Other apps provide a paid option for no ads I would purchase this As a subscribing member its annoying to be told to support MPR constantly when I already do And many times songartist info does not work If I pause the app and restart the songartist info never reappears a restart is necessary at that point Very annoying Needs lots of bug fixes it seems Ive noticed nothing new or better in this version     Dead App

I love the current Listen to it every day streamed from my iPad to a jawbone jambox speaker and it infrequently drops but not enough to not listen to it The best music mix Only thing weird is when they report on bad weather I momentarily stop and wonder how were getting snow I live in Hawaii              Fantastic

I am having the same issue with the App continuing to play after I pause it and back out one menu to stations Also note it does this even when the silent switch is on Otherwise I totally love MPR I listen to News and The Current and it makes it super easy           Needs fix

Had trouble downloading on 6 plus Now that Ive finally downloaded it the app will not open Very disappointed     Wont open

A longtime supporter of public radio and television and a Minnesotan I have lived in Maryland for the past 25 years I had enjoyed listening to the news from my home state Earlier this week the NPR app interrupted my stream and I was astounded to see the following message appear YOU LISTEN DONATE The word at the top of this review is what immediately popped into my mind SHAME on YOU Minnesota Public Radio for trying to shame ME into giving you money after years of support to you and other stations across the country Not classy Crass I am deleting this app and will not listen to you through any other venue     Contumelius

There is a UI issue that wont allow you to use the alarm featurethis is the reason I wanted the app They havent updated this in over a year yet this bug has been reported by many As a paid sustaining member of MPR Im disappointed     Alarm cant be set

I love MPR and was so excited to use this app at work but it hardly ever functions correctly Most of the time it just gets stuck on buffering When it does actually work it usually drops within 5 minutes Please fix MPR     Rarely works

Downloaded this app 5 minutes ago It crashed twice and Im able to write this review all within that 5 minutes Thats not a very good 1st impression to say the least        Crashes

Have used and enjoyed this app for quite a while The upgrade that now causes it TO CRASH EVERY TIME I OPEN IT does not seem like much of an upgrade FIX THIS To all having crash issues you can still stream all stations directly from the website albeit slightly more involved than the app was Hey MPR its neat how your FAQ page is 404 too My five year old is learning to code You guys need help over there or what     Crashtastic

As much as I want to love this app I am very disappointed with it The alarm function doesnt work at all merely crashing it and requiring a reinstall The stream buffers constantly for no reason whatsoever and its impossible to get it to be one for longer than five minutes All in all it needs work        Disappointed

I finally got around to updating this app What a mistake Crashing buffering freezing Yikes This is my go to app for all things MPR Please get it back together again     What happened

Ive been waiting for an update for months to fix the appfreezing issue Alas its been nearly a year with no new updates Like others even while listening on LTE or WiFi the app gets stuck buffering I can stream music on Pandora or Apple Radio in the same places and never have a connectivity issue This is undoubtedly a problem with the MPR app and its extremely disappointing that it hasnt been fixed after such a long time FYI running the latest version of iOS Come on MPR I love you but youre better than a shoddy app like this        Awesome content but very unreliable

This app provides MPR News The Current and classical music Its the onestop app for my public radio fix                 Outstanding

Im a classical music geek esp choral and I love the wedkend quiznewscomedy shows on MPR This is my goto app Drops the stream very infrequently otherwise terrific              I use it all the time

Works well I use it all the time I wish the song title and artist showed in my lock screen instead of MPR Radio              Great App

When you hit the play button for any of the streams it simply doesnt play I think any upgrades for iOS 7 caused it to stop working in iOS 613     Doesnt stream anymore
