Allow me to upgrade the ship besides the super short ones that spawn on the board Or at least make collectibles last the life of the level              Need IAP

Update Ive had the game freeze up on me twice since I installed it on the 17th of June Fantastic graphics on the new iPad The game gets progressively harder as you advance through it This is the first game app that Ive downloaded to my iPad that has joystick controls via your fingers It took me a while to get used to it but Im already hooked on the game I am satisfied with my purchase              WOW

I new just a little bit about the game before purchasing it Ive never been disappointed by any game from Crescent Moon so I wasnt worried about taking a gamble I played the first 5 levels not knowing how quickly it changes pace from most DualStick Shooters which was kind of an adrenaline rush Once again I stand by this developer because they just put out quality games unlike developers like EA that create a new version example Tetris and now that it runs on the new iPad I have to purchase the game again Total Bullsh I just hope that CM stays with the quality of gameplay and some of the most killer graphics I dont usually write reviews but Im so tired of some of the crap in the AppStore good developers like this need to get noticed Thanks for all of your kick a games                 FREAKIN AWESOME

Beautiful on the retina iPad Smooth graphics and controls with a good ramp up in difficulty If you liked the classics Robotron or Smash TV this is for you                 Excellent

I believe there are about 900 levels in the game and I cant get past level 3 There I said it Feels like I am playing level 702 I dont know I guess its just me Im pretty sure that the majority of the time I get killed I am trying to double tap out a smart bomb and it doesnt happen Ah well Love the sounds Im gonna get back to my level 3 now Perhaps my day is today           Erderp

This game rocks the dual stick shooter genre and kicks it up a notch The only thing about this game that really annoys me is that to set off a smart bomb you need to tap two fingers on the right sidestupidIm holding an iPad unless seriously flexible it takes a major coordination of timing and physical manipulation of both the right hand and the device while trying to dodge enemy fire Who thought two fingers for this was a good idea Double tap makes more sense but this one problem really detracts from the fluidity of an otherwise awesome game Trying to hit a smart bombs usually results in being killed Visually this is top notch and the sound fx are old school arcade style The various belt are interesting but not explained very well Still this is just V1 of a new game so minor issues aside its a buy for sure              Really fun except for some issues

Your ship is in a room with psychedelic walls and swirly backgrounds The mutants will literally appear in a storm and its up to you to eliminate them all The music for this game is eerie No doubt about it Even though you see all of the enemies from your vantage point you still cant help but feel that another one is going to pop out and surprise you That in combination with the odd visuals make this quite the trippy game Those looking to continue playing the game on the iPad or those looking for a messedup trip will most likely enjoy this game Just leave your finger on the trigger the right side of the screen and let your gunfire do the talking Youll move on to the next room once youve cleared all the mutants A belt selection menu is how you select your difficulty As in martial arts a white belt is for beginners while a black belt is the most advanced Which difficulty you select determines how aggressive the mutants behave as well as how much your score will be multiplied Adventure mode offers 89 levels where every 10 levels you beat will unlock the next set of 10 This means that you can leave the game and come back to one of the higher sets without having to replay the whole game This mode is all about staying alive to move on to the next level Tally mode focuses more on how well you score for each room Defeat all the mutants and then go back and see if you can do it better Game Center support is offered for keeping track of where you place on the leaderboard and which achievements youve earned                 THE BEST SHOOTER OF ITS KIND SO FAR

Some times ship just stops moving Locked up and then you die Same with controls Fun game Will get 5 when fixed           Better than geometry wars

Finally someone master controls and feel like an old arcade Sound and solid controls make this a perfect game in my book More games like this Just a simple yet engaging game made in the old style of coinopp games May hats off I didnt think anyone would make controls this good and effortless Others should definitely learn from this app as far as gaming control Forget virtual joysticks when your hands can get lost and off control This is nice Im only 8 levels in and totally impressed And the games light in file size at only 17mb Thats awesome Games that one 1gb of space are just a joke to me even though I have a 32gb iPad This is a must buy if you like that old style coin feeder arcade type game and solid controls                 Mastered

I have so many games I buy and just dont play My son said get itl I have this on Xbox I did and wow If only this could be controlled on the iCade I would give it five stars But how Needs two sticks I would still like to try Maybe program firing with buttons Dunno But make it happen and this would be the best iPad game ever made              Wow classic arcade coin op quality

This game reminds me of the old school Atari games Its addictive with simple controls which allows for play with any age group My only complaint is I think the price is a little much I think its worth 199 tops I hope they dont start coming out with add ons that they charge extra for That will absolutely ruin this great game                 Amazing and addictive

Download Ballistic SE if you want a twinstick shooter with perfect controls The controls are garbage and the developer has stated that this game will no longer receive updates Its a shame too because this is a great game on consoles and pc                 Controls are awful

Rabid twinstick shooter connoisseur here Want better twinstick shooters than this Try Ballistic and Inferno from RadianGames I have admittedly been unable to progress terribly far in the game because the presentation is so horrid The art and sound direction is profoundly annoying to me and while its true this is entirely subjective the fact that I cannot mute the atrocious ingame music and play my own it just plays silence once the game picks back up is unacceptable I also thought the weak learning curve was patronizing and boring If it isnt melting my face off in 60 seconds flat youre not doing it right        Lame

Mutant Storm has actually been around since 2002 on various platforms Windows Mac XBox and XBox 360 In other words this isnt some cheap throwtogether game Its maintained its popularity for ten years This latest iPad adaptation is no slouch either It uses the standard twin virtual stick control system that were all familiar with now and while this is an excellent implementation of such controls Id be lying if I said the game doesnt suffer ever so slightly from the lack of real sticks The developers conceded this as well adjusting the game balance to remain fair Mutant Storm has 89 stages nearly all of which are substantially different Between the different enemies obstacles and room shapes youll have to formulate some very different strategies to make it through the game And just when you think youve gotten it figured out there are seven more difficulty levels to set you straight As far as dualstick shooters go Mutant Storm is one of the best examples of the genre                 One of the best dualstick shooters on any platform

This does not look like the Xbox game that I am used to but it doesnt matter A single screen arcade style shooter is always welcome in my hands And not only is this appropriately difficult and challenging but is also very approachable and very fun to play If you happen to own two fling tm suction cup adapters this game was made for those The retina display support only adds to the absolute stunning graphics this game has to offer Handsdown this has to be the best iPad game I have purchased since I bought my iPad                 A different kind of mutant storm unto itself

Me and my sister used to play this game all the time when we were kids Wed huddle around our mothers laptop for hours trying to get past room 18 taking turns and just having the greatest time It means a lot to me that I get to play this now years later on the iPad Mini wRetina Display no less God let me just say even on this small iPad it looks gorgeous The controls are totally different from what I rememberer obviously but once I got used to there was no problem I dont care that theres no music because Im too busy shooting mutants and digging bullets to notice Highly recommend it                 My favorite PC game only now even more beautiful and fun

I dont give away 5 star reviews like candy but I will never hesitate to review a game that deserves it good or bad this one Im happy to say is great Two words Satisfying gameplay Very satisfying The only knock I can say and its not really a knock but more of a matter of taste is the soundtrack Or lack thereof This one is just begging for a heart pounding soundtrack the sound effects arent bad but Im not sure they were going for ambience or what But a total lack of music is the only negative thing I have to say it dont make or break a game All else considered this is a very fun shooter and very easy to play kind of like beat hazard Well done                 Must Have Shooter

This was the best game Ive downloaded in a long time More fun than Geometry Wars because I dont die so fast The difficulty ramps up nicely Great graphics great sound effects Ive played this for hours on vacation Itd be even more fun if the powerups lasted longer                 Very very good

I played this game on my Mac many years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it When I saw it came out for the ipad i immediately bought it and it plays better on the ipad Highly reccomend for casual gaming                 The ultimate in gaming

This game is a classic on the consoles and now its an instant classic on the app store Gameplay is very fun so far Only complaint is I cant play music from any music app Please update then Ill rate 5 stars              Really Fun
