I love how you can add your proof of insurance to Passbook Still needs some work though myATT is a good app to model after The app should have an inline interface for dealing with your account Not a web wrapper for the website You need to be able to have the app save our login info as an option so we doing have to log in again Otherwise a good improvement              Much much better

This app is very helpful for me and I have yet not had any issues I make my monthly payments on here and have not come across any problems                 Helpfull

This app is useless Please make an actual app like geico where you can pay your bill make a claim and have a virtual insurance card with you at all times Also update it for the new phones It doesnt even go full screen on the 5S It needs a major major update     Not an app

This app is so slow and needs to be updated pronto It acts like if you were on the computer or laptop and not an app where it can be quicker Too many loops just to access my acct and pay a bill Please fix this ASAP     Seriously needs to be updated

Clunky Dead end paging with no back arrow Comment submission page kept clearing my info and telling me I missed those fields Cannot use strong passwords I want to use So many problems that I have it in my phone so I could write this review AmFam has not re my few feedback emails     Horrible

The app doesnt do anything that my address book with insurance contact info doesnt already do What is needed in a mobile app is proof of insurance for each of my insured vehicles and electronic claims app that takes photos and the ability to add or subtract items from my policy in real time on my mobile device This does nonof these things     Basically worthless

There should be some functionality within the app but all it does is take you to their website on your device Dont waste the memory on your phone I think I may fill that space with cat pictures I dont even like cats     Um not an app just a waste

AmFam I would suggest updating your app and not just link it to the website that is not even a mobile website I spend money for your insurance the least you could do is spend your money on a descent app     Terrible mobile app

It doesnt operate like most apps Ive seen I am sure it will be improved more direct access to policy information not via regular site But with the app I was able to pay my bill and get proof of insurance Cant wait to see improvements              Improvement possible but it provided the things I needed

How is the app I have no idea it crashes on open on two completely separate devices an iPhone 6 and an iPad mini After restarting and reinstalling on both devices the story is the same freeze on the splash screen for 1015 seconds and then crash     Crashes on open iPhone 6 and iPad Mini

This app is useless Dont waste your time downloading it Youre better off opening amfam on your mobile browser Doesnt event save your payment info and if you make a mistake be ready to input your credit card info aaaaaaalllll over again     DONT WASTE YOUR TIME

The idea of having digital proof if insurance cards was good until I found out I had to keep my userid and password with me to get in Assign them to the phone ID please Same thing with viewing your claims You are asking me for my policy and claim Dont you have that     Too many log ins

This version is not ready for use on tablet or phone very unuser friendly The app forced me to login in each time I wanted to view a new bill on my account After opening the PDF of the bill no way to get back to previous page without logging in again     Need a real mobile app

All this app does is take you to the website which isnt even optimized for mobile I just switched from Geico they have an amazing app I could even get my insurance card right in the app and electronic cards are now accepted in the state where I reside I didnt have to worry about not having a current card in my vehicle because I always have my iPhone with me I home AmFam redesigns their app soon     Nothing like the Geico app

I need to make two insurance payments monthly After making the first one I get to the confirmation screen to close window or print Close window does nothing and Im forced the shut the application and log back in to make the second payment Optimizing your site for mobile is critical in todays day and age Very irritating My personal business gets done on my phone or usually not at all And I dont think this is uncommon So please get with the times        Only allows one payment without shutting down app

The app barely worked before the latest update now it wont even open Crashed twice then my phone froze I have deleted the app     Wont even open

REVIEWERS Consider sending a comment also to AmFams App Support link They seem to respond quicker to that It took AmFam 3 yrs and over 100 sub 23 star reviews to realize customers really disliked this app That is unfortunately characteristic of AmFam when it comes to customer responsiveness from above the agent level Equally characteristic is they still did not get the job done At least now you can attach your veh proof of insurance to Passbook or even pull it up in a few steps Still cant add to app contacts they decide which ones you need not the customer App still freezes but at least not as often Links now work most of the time Can now search and map locate an agentagency but would be nice to have it help you navigate to them as well What is the purpose of the profile It seems purposeless except to just list required info for some unknowns collection No thanks At least AmFam got caught up to a 200 level app Maybe the next update sooner than 3 more years hopefully might bring them closer to the level of their competitors mobile service apps If only AmFam upper management was as progressive and customerresponsive as their agents           1st Update in 3 yrs better but still not good

In a day where nearly every company has a mobile app AmFam has long declined to catch up with their competitors They finally obliged However the app is the same thing you experience by logging onto the website through Safari and is a direct reflection of the website through a normal web browser Ive been so satisfied with the personal service and the price I pay with American Family but because I rely so heavily on the mobile platform for my finances I may be forced to look elsewhere There is so much room for improvement I do not know where to begin Please reach out if you are looking for ideas I really think we can work together to make this an awesome application for your customers     Web app way behind the times

This app does nothing Its completely useless unless you just want a tool to redirect you to their web site which isnt optimized for mobile anyway I have seen other insurance companys apps and may switch insurance companies based on the usefulness of the mobile apps alone Amfam has been a pretty good company until it comes to making the leap into the digitalmobile age They are your grandparents insurance company They use zero technology to help make insurance easier     Probably the worst App Ever

Save the time This is just a thin wrapper over the web site which is where youll find the most use as a CUSTOMER Searching for an agent works great but that doesnt require an installed app Let me save my credentials one time and be able to access my policies payments claims and send a message to my agent Then Ill try it again     Worthless

This app needs improvement The app acts as a starting page to the website From there you will need to navigate their webpage American family I have some suggestions 1 Add a link as you have on the contact page but make a back page if you view one of the statements you get stuck on that page and have to manually close the app and resign back in and go they all navigation to get to other policies 2 Make a quick link that takes you directly to your proof of insurance required by state laws This is probably the main reason people what this app Many insurance companies realize this and advertise it on TV as a perk You would only need to develop a app based log on and attach a link to the statement directly from the app not link to the browser 3 Have developers make an expedited method of paying the bill via the app and not a log in to the webpage from the app I am providing this information as both a review and to let you know what endusers are actually looking for I do like your profile page in which you can enter your information and add your agent     Basically a glorified bookmark

Was this created by the same people who designed the obamacare website I cant give it a zero or a negative number or I would     HORRIBLE

I gave this app 3 stars because it is easy to make a payment on and to get proof of insurance on But if you want to view your payment history or your billing history then you will be searching forever Half the time it doesnt even pull up my current months bill when I try to look at it before paying it It will pull up a PDF of a few months prior Also I am not a huge fan of AmFam in general because even if your try to go to their website to make a payment on their phone you cant get their full site it pulls up their mobile site which is the same as their app format So if your on your phone at all your just out of luck Its frustrating           Easy but not informative

Agent recommended this app to me It was horrible crashed and was juvenile in its design Because of his recommendation I am unsure of his ability to sell good insurance Terrible job AmFam     I think my agent might be a little dumb

This is so 2008 Please look to the USAA app for guidance on how to write a proper insurance app Im not sure what your doing with your earnings but its for sure not reinvested in mobility     Look to USAA for guidance

Basically it brings up the web page within the app Expected more Like proof of insurance readily available on my iPhone Others have but not AmFam     What a waste of time
