It keeps getting better and better Do everything you did on the computer and on paper but with ease all in one app This is a must no more bulky books and music stands you will even look more professional And to boot after the first set you want to rearrange some songs cant do that on paper but you can with the lyric book and stays in order no more search for your stuff by flipping pages just one finger flip and there it is And learning stuff is easy cause the original song is tied in with the lyrics Rewind and fast forward need work but all and all I give it a100 So much more I could say all good                 Lyric Book A must

i use this app wmy iPad every show as my teleprompter its very simple straightforward and has been quite reliable              great simple app

This is app is a lifesaver I have gone from a binder full of lyrics that if by chance anyone banged into fell on the floor and made my life a living particularly in the middle of a gig Then I went to a Music Pad pro I thought that was the answer to all my problem and was until now I use My Lyric on my iPad and life is grand Very easy to use and fast to load lyrics                 Dennis

Huge fan of this app until iOS8 came along Pros Some seem to find PDF creation to be tedious and it is a good amount of work But I like being able to format the lyrics how I want add highlighting for quick visual cues make columns put two songs on one page etc I find PDFs to be a great format for lyrics I like the set list feature for organizing lyrics into groups etc All the little functions are great But the CONS iOS8 has the app freaking out a bit For me the keyboard now pops up every time I open a lyric sheet No Bueno I havent found other glitches but I dont use many other features often either PLEASE repair this app ASAP and Ill revise my review to 5 stars           Loved it but PLEASE FIX IT

I cant scroll have to use stupid pedal cant edit cant invert white to black screen cant change font or screen size effectively cant change screen brightness ughhh Not a powerful app at all Just a file folder with a metronome Cant anyone make an app for musicianssingers that is useful I would have sent this to developer e mail like he suggested but could not find address anywhere        Frustrating

I have used this app for 2 years and loved it Now the features to add songs to the set list are not functioning There is no help available to address the problem The developers site requests to email prior to leaving negative feedback but theres no contact information I have invested a lot of time in this and recommended the app to many others What a letdown I am now searching for another app and recommend that you do as well     Developer is MIA and features have stopped working

Good all around design and setup Just what I was looking for One problem is the inability to edit song lyrics within the app you have to edit the pdf elsewhere and import it into the app Cant copy and paste lyrics into a new song              Solid app importing external files for songs is questionable

Easy to use and exactly what Id been looking for Id been using Dropbox for my lyric doc files but was forced to take my big 3ring binder to any gigs where wifi wasnt available most of our outdoor summer gigs Problem solved Love the app and the ability to create setlists is a nice little bonus                 Great app

A useful app it could use a couple of minor adjustments though o Adjusting Font Size reading a 10pt font on a text document from a music stand with my old eyes is a little difficult o A way to scroll maybe a timer Some songs ie American Pie are LONG and I would need them to scroll cant stop playing to move the page and have no clue where to get this page turner thing you keep referencing o You said to email you before a negative review but I was unable to find an email address here or on your support site which allows no way to give feedback ask questions report bugs etc Its a great concept and I hope you address the above issues              Looks handy would be much better with a couple of tweaks

Have a fix yet I have a gig tomorrow and rely on this app How about a rollback     Update crashes

What Ive needed for ages This takes the place of multiple loose leaf notebooks Takes the place of rearranging song sheets in set lists then re alphabetizing etc Loading songs is easy if you follow the directions Only problem I had was using unrecognized PDF format instead of pdf The developer was very prompt and helpful in figuring this out                 Fantastic app

Im sure I will love this app if I find a way to scan a lot of my lyrics in Is that possible I have printed out lyrics over many years and Ive penned in my own notes like pitch changes and rests etc Is there a way to change the scanned format from jpg to PDF It would be great if one could make notes directly on the page while viewing it on his iPad like you can on snap chat Thanks for any help              Question

This app requires a learning curve and is difficult to get started Convert your lyrics to the correct format load onto iPad and sort into setlist Once you have the lyrics on the iPad sorting into set lists and organizing order is fairly simple I use this for every live performance App needs clearly directions no doubt Use the edit button to add songs to setlists Brian Steinberg Lead Singer for The Wheresville Project              Learning Curve but Great and Essential App for live performance or rehearsal

Yes I updated Then there was a message telling everyone not to Really Emailed developer no response On the phone with Apple for 15 hours trying every freakn thingno luck So now my gigs tonight and must go back to the old fashioned music standalways has been reliable for me Radical80s     Of course my luck

If you are looking to shed those lead sheets and fake books this app is perfect for organizing your lead sheets and lyric sheets We use band in the box to search for songs we perform and then convert to PDF and bring it into My Lyric Book via iTunes You are up and running and can gig right away with this app on your music stand instead of those bulky hard to search fake books This lets you make up set lists and add notes to each song to really customize your sight reading and performance Nothing but high fives for My Lyric Book It does exactly what we need it to                 Great app for lyrics and lead sheets

This app is a miserable failure With a lot of work and research I have managed to get a few hundred song lyrics imported but they cannot be manipulated easily and the icons described by the developer ie add songs to an existing set list dont even exist Im still waiting for somebody to figure out how to make a functional intuitive app for musicians to consolidate their lyrics and set lists on an iPad Dont waste your time or money on this junker     Great Idea Poor Execution

Unfortunately since OS8 this app will not load songs into iTunes without corrupting the file You will be forced to reedit your word docs I have 1000 and the editing time required has made this app no longer very useful        App has problems

I waited years for a teleprompter type device where I could store lyrics for gigs and this app fills the bill perfectly Its really easy to use and as a bonus the guy who writes it is very responsive and seems to really care about the app working well Which it does Ill never go back to big clunky notebooks of lyrics                 Love It

This app has just what I was looking for to be able to use my iPad in place of set lists and lyric sheets on stage Its great to be able to turn pages easily Pinching to change font size is a bit challenging but I can live with that I just replace the lyric sheet with one using a larger fontno big deal What a handy app for just 199                 Just what I was looking for

I love this app and its simplistic interface However they really need to add the ability to expand and or zoom in the images size within the program Some of PDFs are smaller then we would like and the theres no current way to use the traditional ipad method of zooming in using my fingers on the screen              Great Lyric App but

Please make the font adjustable for lyrics it is to small and no option to adjust Ps Also add option to center lyrics or align left and night or day background colors will be nice                 Font to small

So Im writing it here Is there any way you can add a PDF converter to the importing The only things that look even similar to the actual documents I put on this thing are PDFs All pages doc and docx files lose just about all formatting Like your website says We want you to use Your versions of these lyrics But if all the formatting is changed to simple text formatting what good is all the preparation Please contact me if you can J           I dont know how to contact the developer

When are you sending out an update reversing this app We are screwed at this point HELP     Reverse please

I am an acoustic guitarist singer with over 1000 songs in my Windows laptop After my laptop crashed I knew it was time to transition to iPad This app makes it super easy to transfer documents I didnt even have to reformat anything Using the setlist feature I can divide songs into categories rock country etc At the time of this version I have 2 things on my wish list I would like to be able to delete songs off of the master list and would like to be able to rename songs All in all a very useful app Thanks              Great

After I upgraded my system I was able to work with the app it is awesome Im happy now     Awesome app

Please Reverse This Update We Make Living Out Of Music And We Rely On This App Tonight I Was Lucky Because I Used The Homeowners WiFi Tomorrow Hopefully Its Fixed Or Else Im Losing Out On Extra Income     Smh

The best App I own No documentation or instructions but once you solve the puzzle youll love this As a performing singerguitarist this is just what Ive been looking for Not obvious but once you figure it out its easy to create multiple song lyric sequences which you can then reorder at will and on the spot You can later edit the lyric group called list but its actually all the lyrics in the sequence you set up I use this with an iPad holder attached to my mic stand Less cumbersome than a book and much easier to see also easy to create a customized set even on a break To figure out how to use it you have to fiddle with the 2 or 3 icons until you see edit then you can adddelete songs change the name of the set and reorder the sequence of lyrics within the set Scrolling up or down with your pinky gets the the various pages of the song left or right goes to another song within the set I used to use a PDF of my 200 songs saved to the book app This is MUCH better because it allows me to create subsets of my lyrics and even reorder on the spot ex all country songs with Denver 1st then Taylor etc                 Exceptional

I have been using this app for a couple of years Today I tried to use it with iOS 8 It pops the keyboard up in the middle of the document so you cant get to the button that lets you play the song Its unusable I hope they get it fixed pretty quick              Very pleased so far

Please take note and update the app No really It used to work with Pages docs and now I have to save every single lyric sheet into PDF form to use the app Documents created with Apples new Pages app are not compatible and its been out for months Designers have clearly left the building and I think Im left holding the bag When I think of the people to whom Ive recommended this app Im embarrassed     Urgent Mac Users DONT BUY

Just what I needed to store my lyrics I use this app on stage and I love that I can create lists to categorize my songs I have some questions before I update to OS 7 Where can I find your contact info                 Great App

Lyrics lose some of their formatting when imported This app also needs to add in app editing and the ability to import via Dropbox           Almost great

If you use this App in its most basic form for Poetry or Song Lyrics like I do youll love it Its clean and organized To earn 5 stars from me thered have to be a fix keeping the same formatting that Ive implemented in WORDsometimes it gets lost ie the spacings between the title verse go away when transferred which means if I want it how I want it aesthetically then I have to tweak the document in WORD prior to transfer And if at first I dont succeed then I try try again Its nice itll suffice           Nice Itll Suffice

If you follow the directions and not try to just figure it out its wonderful This app has saved me Easier to use ipad instead of music stand and its faster to switch songs than turning a page Seriously not understanding all these bad reviews I am a Mac user Thanks for this app                 Thankful for this app

I went to the app store and purchased My Lyric Book and now all is well iPhone 5 iMac and iPad 3 are all together In fact it is soooooo easy to add my gig books I have three gigs in the next two weeks and I found your app at just the right time I found music reader too cumbersome So thank you for developing My Lyric Book                 My Lyric Book

I had no problems updating to iOS 7 on an iPad with this app Id like to add that Ive used the app now for about three months and I dont know how I ever got along without it                 No problem with updated app

I was looking for a lyric book replacement This ones great Youve got to be a bit computer savey to be able to format your lyrics the way you need them but I dont see this as too much of a challenge for most folks The one caveat most musicians should be aware of especially those Mac people who are still stuck on OS 1068 and earlier is that you cannot format through pages 09 because you cannot load pages 09 onto a Mac that dosent have OS 107 or later This means that youll have to format your lyrics on your Pages app for ipadiphone Since I was taking preformatted lyrics from another program on my Mac this was somewhat time consuming With that said a great app which can only get better              Really Nice

Now that Word is on iPad it would be very easy to copy lyrics from the web make them a doc and then put them into My Lyrics Book app all on my iPad Is this soon going to be possible I have the first part done but dont know how to get them into the app without having to go through my computer Lyrics sites are usually where I get nasty computer bugs so I had started looking up lyrics on my iPad typing them into Word and then putting them on the iPad through iTunes To be able to do all this on the iPad in mere minutes would be just too cool Thanks              Editing in Word for iPad and importing into My Lyrics Book

I have been searching for ways since the iPad came out to use it for preaching Before I just used Pages and didnt like that I had to scroll up and swiping wasnt available Not only do I not have to scroll anymore If used with the Airturn Bluetooth foot pedal I can wirelessly control my presentation I love this app If the developers actually read this the only reason I dont give it 5stars is when I have a weekend message open and Im on the first page if I swipe left to right on accident or if I hit the left pedal it sends you back to the table of contents It would be nice to somehow have an option to lock a document to prevent going too far back I know being careful is an option but I have done this way too many times to count and I cant possibly be the only person to do this Great app Thanks Pastor John Ignite Church Myrtle Beach              Im not a Musician

This has been a great goto best friend for songs and set lists Five stars for sure until the most recent Pages update which seems to have compatibility issues that result in blanks hence the threestar rating This is indeed sad news because it was sooooo very easy Yes you can convert Pages documents to pdfs and they will work just fine I trust this will get handled sooner or later and it will be a fivestar app again Meanwhile Pages users convert to pdf before importing your songs           Great app And waiting for the return of Pages

Nice app but when Im performing people ask for my song list I wish I could print a list from All Songs Im able to muddle through by creating a new list then selecting every song from All Songs then select print The font is HUGE and doesnt look printer friendly Btw Im using an iPad 2 and the only version I find is My Lyrics for iPhone Am I missing something              Print options

Good program but whenever I magnify the lyrics and then slightly move screen to left or right it goes instantly back to the set list Drives me crazy Can this be fixed           iPhone frustration

Nothing worse than buying a phone app and finding out you have to have a computer to do anything with it Would be awesome if you guys could create a cut and paste part so I could copy the lyrics in using my iPhones safari I will raise the rating when I finally am able to get lyrics on the app from a computer     Gotta have a computer to add lyrics

I just updated to the new version and my iPad 2 wont even open the app any more The app starts to open crashes immediately and shuts itself down Personally Id rather see features added like being able to add a lyric PDF from DropBox instead of having to use iTunes rather than MIDI support especially if adding MIDI support causes the app to crash and not show lyrics any more which is why I bought it in the first place     New Version Wont Open
