I m pretty sure this app doesn t work because I report illegal dumping and nothing ever gets done about it but the app states it s closed So I m pretty sure it s automatically closing itself and the city of Los Angeles never gets my request because I m sure they would actually get the work done instead of just closing requests So this app gets a 1 star     I think the app is broken jcalica

I am a property manager and it has helped me report furniture left on the sidewalks schedule bulky item pick up report homeless people camping out outside the buildings we manage It tells you when to expect the item requested to be taken care of and you get email notifications as well For what I ve used it it has been good so far                     Good app 373juan

As noted by others the maps only accept locations with a mailing address the drag n drop pointer will jump to the closest building address even if the service site is around the corner or in a public park or on or under a bridge or viaduct Also the search functionality for types of requests isn t very helpful for example I couldn t find replacing damaged trash bin had to phone the City services help line which is very fast and friendly                 Great app but a few gaps JVP in Silverlake

I d really like to be able to report illegal fireworks The ability to report the activity with a map to be able to select where the fireworks are coming from It would document a date and time and if enough neighbors participate it would give the authorities the ability to triangulate a general location             Feature request Typo2

I m always amazed that bulky item requests I submit are actually taken care off by the city And fast That said the app itself feels like a city department designed it And that s not a compliment It s verbose clunky and visually unattractive It could be so much better But still it exists and it let s me access city services in a semi efficient manner Three stars Though I wish it deserved five             Good service poor app rommyusa

The idea is great but it doesn t work ultimately The maps only function in areas that have addresses Graffiti and garbage dumping are often done elsewhere Most of my submissions get responses from the city that the employees couldn t find the problem even if I write explanations in the notes and add photos I ve gone back to these locations and seen the problem remains at least five times Also there are different agencies in charge of different things so sometimes the city responds with Not our problem Can t help you Sorry Ideally this agency would coordinate better with CalTrans and whoever else they need to so that any problems reported in the area get dealt with and users don t have to resubmit multiple times Sometimes it seems like the workers hired to implement the fixes are not trying at all problems will be ten yards from the closest available address and they won t see them or do anything about them even if there is a written explanation and photo The app should include red flags for issues like this making it easier to alert management to possible bad employees         Please improve this App gawara

I use this app constantly and am shocked when other people have heard of it I live in a neighborhood that has a serious problem with furniture being dumped This is BY FAR the easiest way to take advantage of the city s bulky item pickup system Most amazing about all of this IT ACTUALLY WORKS No matter how many items I flag they re always removed within a week I ve turned tagging illegally dumped items on the app into my own version of Pokemon Go Whenever I m out walking my dog and come across a dumped couch or mattress it s only a few clicks and I ll know it won t be there in a week The app is regularly updated and improved it really deserves more love I am in no way associated with the city just a big nerd about this helpful app                     Like Pokemon Go but for illegally dumped furniture Drawertrwhetf

The new update adds a lot of extra clicks and steps to do the same thing as before Now what was on one page is across 4 with extra confirmation steps The drop down menus to pick what kind of items are clunky with too many choices a typed description should be plenty for the report Also the map feature has trouble when you drop a pin somewhere without an exact address like a park or roadway This makes it impossible to give accurate location for places where dumping and such often occur If you simplify the app hopefully more people will use it Hope the city can find a new developer for this app as it s become such a chore now     New update complicates Aman000003

This update is a lot better I can now easily submit illegal dumping It would be great great if we could use exact location coordinates as some service request areas have addresses on cross streets and the the pickup is missed Keep up the good work                 update Partypirate
