Free for an introductory period National Wildlife Refuges have been called America s best kept recreation secret . Well this app will let you in on the secret as you locate Refuges near you and learn ...
I like this app but you need to update because there are A few just in Nevada that are missing Please update your app I really like it but would love it if you would have up to date info         Refuges are missing Marjie1976
crashes like crazy maps that are available for refuges online are not listed can t load them into the app from the fws website either all in all app seems pretty pointless you are better off using the web interface than this app     crashes and holes eeyores
Great concept but wish it had more features and descriptions of the Refuges This app should be developed more to include more information Also would be great if it had a check list like the National Parks App so one could check off the Refuges that you ve been to         Keep Developing Cturtlemel
Once this app has more sites in it it will be great Would be really cool if state parks and marshes and other areas were listed too not just wildlife refuges There aren t a lot of those around Maps are hard to read and you can t expand them Frustrating     Good Idea but not developed enough MeanMoma
Great idea with a lot of potential as more locations are added with higher quality maps They are grainy on an iPad             Great potential Darcy Pinotti
Love the map feature                 Great app Ron&Christina
A great start to what hopefully develops into a more comprehensive NWR app The maps in this are great and very useful Should have a way to keep track of the refuges you have visited and how many species you have seen at each integration with eBird             Great start AlexLamoreaux
Please ADD Loxahatchee NWR to this App                 Missing SB listener
I live by two large parkland a WMA and none are on here only map is for a park that is over 150 miles away     Not worth it Katholena
This app works great on my iPad 4 but it is useless on my iPhone 5 It will not populate for the state of Washington I wish someone would figure it out and fix the bugs         Wanted to like it naturehiker
I found the app to be really useful Love that new refuges are being added regularly                     Really useful ZagsII
Lots of refuges perfect for planning outdoor rec getaways Information is good I like that they keep adding refuges                     Great app JediGene
Wow there are only a few listings in this APP none of which are anywhere I need a refuge map for     Paid for a nothing Dcyer
Missing alot of national wild life refuges close to me I dont know why they would produce an incomplete app     Missing alot Redred red
I feel like I was ripped off It is suppose to go by where you are located and it is showing me places 1300 miles away and not showing me places nearby that I do know of I want my money back Zero stars is more like it     Save your dollar jpowers815
This app is missing a lot of refuges including many important one such as Laguna Atascosa Probably the only refuge that has wild Ocelots in South Texas Please update to include more refuges         App needs maintenance Mesquitegrl123
This app ONLY shows the refuges that have some kind of online map Texas has 17 wildlife refuges and this app only shows 3 Far more useful is the National Wildlife Refuge website I want my 99 cent back         Almost Useless Mr. Kayak
There are many Refuges missing For instance Colorado has 6 good refuges Only one included was the Leadville National Fish Hatchery not one of the 6 Lucky the APP only cost 99             Not a great APP LOST & TIRED
Does not offer much information Pulled up a map for Balcones Canyonland near Austin and got a map that displayed hunting areas and not much else Could not click on the map or display any other information         Not that great DARJR26
I live and help out at the Louisiana visitor center in Lacombe and don t see any refuges in Louisiana I would love to see all the refuges listed Thanks for the app                 Need info on moe refuges Bent pole
The National Wildlife Refuges are some of this nation s greatest resources and this app highlighting many of them has the potential to be an excellent even superior addition to any group of travel related sources Sadly however as others have stressed it is at present woefully incomplete Many of the most significant refuges in the country such as the Santa Ana refuge in the Lower Rio Grande Valley of Texas are absent even while there are an overabundance of sites in the Middle Atlantic noted But the maps of each refuge are exceptionally well done and useful and one can only hope that the developers soon complete their work by including ALL the refuges everywhere in the country If or when they do this app will almost certainly receive an easy 5 star rating             Potentially Great birder22
The idea is sound but the database needs to be increased Of the numerous NWR in my area only one is on the app and it s in an neighboring state         Need More Mcoff
This is a good basic app The one thing I wish it offered was the ability to print the maps out from my iPad or iPhone Not sure how this would work though Overall I like it and I am sure it will get better with more options as time goes by                     Good app so far Southernfireman
Excellent app would like to see Iroquois national wildlife refuge added to the list                     Excellent app Grizzly Dude
Nice app easy to use and full of good information I have also noticed an increase in the total number of sites available for viewing including several National Fish Hatcheries                     Excellent Jaqster20
This is a great app Simple and easy to use Great to have access to these maps at the touch of a button I hear they will add new maps on a regular basis                     Easy to use A Bec
With over 550 national wildlife refuges and at least one in every state this app currently only covers a few locations Florida Washington State and the Mid Atlantic are well covered Other than that it is hit or miss with only about 25 refuges total covered I like the idea and hope that the app gets more features such as a link for the calling or at least checking the hours visitor centers on the refuge It would also be nice to include bird lists at each refuge that can be used as a trip list Maybe after they get more refuges featured I will see it as a more useful tool for planning a trip         Good concept needs more locations in the app Refuge Fan
Great app a must have for refuge visitors                     Awesome GrizzlyManWeck
