I m an audiophile from way back but these days I choose convenience of streaming over fidelity but that s not to say I like the lack of fidelity in fact it drove me on a six month quest to find a player that would allow me to improve on the fidelity of my streamed music I bought numerous players that came with equalizers but each fell short and lacked the fidelity that I was looking for In fact I signed up for a monthly subscription of 15 95 to get the sound I needed but it too fell short As you may have guessed uRa is the app that I ve been longing for ITS SIMPLY THE BEST SOUND SHAPING APP in the App Store This is my set up I m a Spotify premium user and choose to use extreme streaming I generally listen to my music in my Cadillac XTS Platinum keeping the car stereo controls at 0 My phone is an iPhone X running iOS 11 2 1 and it s plugged into the car via lightening USB cable Update After spending a considerable amount of hours with the uRa app running through my car stereo I noticed my music has a spacial presents to it that no other sound shaping app that I owned had Using the 30 band EQ I was able to rid my streamed music of its harsh upper end and give it some punch in the lower end the low end isn t muddy Although I m able to adjust individual frequencies using the 30 band EQ this app is much more than just an EQ The sound engine inside this app is simply amazing The other things I like about this app is its simple and clean UI music library management and its seamless interaction with Spotify The only thing I would like to see is for the developer to add Car Play capabilities but that s not a show stopper                     Worth The Price Janderso
