NASB Bible Bundle for BibleReader

I have not used any other app but I certainly enjoy using this I like being able to take notes and keeping track of my daily reading I also like having the commentaries readily available                 I enjoy it

Im so glad I bought this app it is awesome I have told many about it that they should buy for their IOS device                 NASB APP

The earlier version was better Every time I update I have to restore my settings and sometimes lose bible versions I purchased I keep telling myself not to update but then am deceived by the words corrects critical errors It never really corrects     Frustrated

This is my go to bible study app I use an iPad and Im pretty sure you cant get better Very functional with an easy interface and infinitely expandable I cannot say enough good Picture having your entire bible library on your iPad                 Im a pastor

I have had this app for a few weeks now and it has helped me dig deeper into the truths Of God The commentaries run in the background and sync seamlessly Whats more the toolbox feature allows for quick bookmark highlight and history review                 Great app

I use this every day The NAS version is a more literal translation than other more popular translations it is used recommended by many scholars who teach from the original languages If you study thematically do word searches a more literal translation works much better It is also easy to add other versions and compare translations which is very helpful I added the ESV Strongs which allows me to explore the meanings of the original languages of Hebrew Greek Aramaic contained therein Three commentaries are included in this bundle Reading them alongside the passage I am studying helps me gain further insights and see connections to related Scriptures                 My Favorite App

I have used this app for many years It is working well now I use this every day My devotional by Charles Stanley is one of the books available and I read the One Year Bible in the app I use the Thompson Chain Reference system to prepare Bible studies I like having the Strongs dictionary and Eatons dictionary to look up and see the other verses where words are used Being able to take notes and then search your notes for topics is a huge help I also like being able to keep bookmarks When you type a verse reference in your notes it becomes a hyperlink to the verse awesome Only one concern Being able to export the notes in a usable format One day this app will go away and I dont want to lose the hundreds of sermon notes I have in the app                 The Best Bible App

This WAS my favorite app and go to bible for my iPhone 5s and iPad 4but now It is horrendous to say the least This latest update has caused me issues in the middle of preaching no less PLEASE fix it ASAP     OLIVE TREE

I cannot called this a bible no longer as you have removed more than 45 complete verses and 64575 words You have ruin the authenticity with your watering down of scriptures I did not pay for that I want a COMPLETE refund of my money for all the versions I paid for that were still in its unadulterated form     Removal of complete Verses and texts

Olive Tree is the best Bible app available in my opinion Easy to use Easy to customize for personal use I love that it syncs between my iPad iPhonemakes it easier to keep up on my reading program Loads of reading program options from reading through in a year to topics                 1 Bible app

Added September 7 2014 This app is still very buggy and I dont recommend purchasing it any longer Olive Tree seems not to care or have the programming ability to fix it Just this morning I needed to dump it and reload once again trying to solve issues that were not there a couple of years ago A few of the issues 1 It will no longer highlight 2 It never goes to the proper verse usually one before it 3 It changes scripture positions when you turn a page 4 It crashes or changes scriptures on me when Im speaking Added May 17 2014 The new update is the worse update Ive ever had on any product It crashes whenever I use the various components that Olive Tree advertises Ive spent hundreds of dollars on this app and its basically useless for any serious bible study It crashes crashes and then crashes some more It wont even take me to the scripture I request anymoreon both my iPad 2 and on my iPad Air Id lower my star rating to one if I had the chance to do it over again All this from a Christian organization Previously posted Quite frankly I love the app when it works properly but it crashes at least once every day on my iPad 2 With each new update I keep hoping that these problems are solved but its still not stable If its just used for reading it may be stable however I use many of its features and its just not stable At least once every Sunday when Im speaking it crashes Ive spent a lot of dollars adding good components from Olive Tree but its so annoying that it crashes so regularly Why cant you guys get it right So many upgrades yet none have solved the crashing problem As Christians I would have expected far better service than you have provided Crashing is NOT good service its what I would expect from a secular company I cant even recommend this app to my friends in the church I pastor because its so unreliable Please solve the problem If this product was stable Id easily give it a 5 Star rating however because it crashes so much I can not I also have Accordance that I use sparingly and it never crashes     Crash crash crashyet again

I wanted to update my previously bad review with one thats even worse and the App Store is telling me I never reviewed before Hmmm I guess the completely bugfilled 59x that is Olive Tree Bible Study Software has somehow infected Apple Anyway I agree with the majority of other users in that it was good before the two years in the making 590 update Im a retired systems analyst and programmer with 30 years of coding experience and if I had given untested programs like this to my users I wouldnt have had a job for very long My advice for Olive Tree is to just admit their mistake fall back to the version prior to 590 and then start again with thoroughly tested releases Older review below I just couldnt take it anymore and had to write a further review I believe this is the fifth bug release since the version they say was two years in the making Two years I see hardly any changes and only a bunch of continual and annoying bugs Im a retired systems analyst and programmer My former coworker and I took less than two years to write from scratch a fullblown general ledger accounting package that included purchasing receiving accounts payable fixed assets with depreciation and integration with an existing accounts receivable system If this major update wasnt just a marketing gimmick I recommend they look into better programmers who actually fully test their code before releasing it into the world I have never written a review like this before but bad programming insults my former profession and simply makes me angry Oldest review below The latest update has been quite annoying It seldom gets me to the correct chapter when I use the Go To button update this seems to have been corrected I didnt want to write a bad review here but when I went to their website and couldnt find a place to tell them privately I had no choice There are other small and medium annoyances and perhaps Ill update this review with more specifics at a later time but not right now update Im still too frustrated to be specific and yes I know that may sound ridiculous What I want to do now is give my opinion A lot of their prices for things are way too high I called them about this once and of course they blamed it on the publishers Yeah I get it but it just seems that making a buck is more important than giving people good Bible study tools Once again its just my opinion and I hate to express it but sadly its how I feel     Bad update and a personal opinion

This is really an excellent app Fonts are beautiful navigation is easy and almost everything is configurable Response is snappy on my iPad Air and 4 I like being able to save my notes in the cloud so I can get to them almost anywhere and wipe my iPad with no consequences Only one thing could be significantly improved inapp purchases are TOO EXPENSIVE This is an iPad app not a comprehensive sermon preparation tool If the publishers wish to sell on iTunes they need to get the costs down 10 is reasonable 45 or more is crazy              Excellent app

I am Totally in awe of this App I used to spend so much time looking up each every original word I could in the Hebrew such dictionaries page after page searching digging deeper deeper in the full meaning of each verse but with this app its at the touch of my finger at the word up comes the original actual Word first used its many definitions its Amazing Awesome Fast Its Wonderful I Thank God its such a Blessing Its like reading Scripture in a room where someone just turned the light on Seriously dig deeper into each word u will be amazed at what GOD His Holy Spirit will open your eyes to see ears to hear Gods Words are incredible So Exciting exhilarating                 AWESOME OUTSTANDING

Im very pleased with the work that went into this app to make it so userfriendly It offers the student of Scripture to make notes in a side window while the Bible is open on the left side Also the search features and hyperlinks help me navigate to related passages and word studies I enjoy using one of the many daily reading plans too And the notes Ive written sync across all my devices and are private to only me                 Well Designed

A mobile app of the Bible is such a blessing to have the word of God when you need guidance or encouragement However I would have expected an app that doesnt crash When flipping through different scripture the list of chapters sometimes does not appear and have to close the app to reappear It is a disappointment when other apps doesnt fail           Convenient but crashes

I have used Olive Tree for years NASB with the embedded Strongs was the backbone of my Bible Study and for following along in sermons However at the last upgrade I lost both NASB and Strongs and ended up with just the Bible versions that come with the base Olive Tree package NIV KJV etc Then a couple of weeks ago NASB started opening into a commentary Now the reality is that I probably did something to make it start doing this but I cannot figure out how to go back to the basic Bible as default Finally the new version opens and does some configuration stuff that takes minutes of time I need to follow along in class or sermon It then tells me there is no navigation and takes more minutes to get to the first screen which as I said above is not even the scripture but the commentary I cannot recall the reason Olive Tree demanded this upgrade but is has been a terrible mess for me        Upgrade ended up a downgrade

Mine wont open either If you havent purchased this yet wait a little bit Its a decent app but right now its unusable     Me too

Sent a note off to Olive Tree support to fix this will let you know how it goes        Bought NASB but got NRSV
