It weighs in at only 48.2 MB to download. It is highly advisable to have the latest app version installed so that you don`t miss out on the fresh new features and improvements. The parks that are featured have great photos and information but all national parks should be included Needs More
For the 1399 I paid for all parks I expected to get just that Not just the popular 28 or so parks I expect more from National Geographic National monuments should be included too Disappointed it doesnt have all parks
This app is AMAZING Great Retina Display integration makes the app simply beautiful Is there any possible way you could add the Channel Islands and The Pinnacles I know Nat Geo has a real map of the Channel Islands but what about on the iPhone Few bugs but overall awesome
I like the app but I wish it had more details Better history better trail information This app is good but could be great Good not great
App is simple to use includes beautiful photos with aerial views of the parks with keys to find seasonal information hiking trails camp sites and more It would be nice to see more landscape photos of the sites being marked as points of interest with prices lodging information It would make a good screen saver Bucket List Places To See
I expected a popular and intelligent company like National Geographic not to leave out some of the states New Mexico has several National parks and monuments How could you leave the whole state out of your list I will be deleting this app wheres New Mexico
The App is good but some of the data is erroneous Theodore Roosevelt was a US President but in 1937 he was quite dead Please reference the correct President Roosevelt Franklin Delano Roosevelt Olympic Park President Reference
but Im not impressed For Shenandoah I cannot find any trails or even the park boundary on the map Indeed there is no maponly an aerial photograph Theres just not much here Maybe its me

I was excited when I found this app but they want 14 for all the parks and the information given is very basic and doesnt work well for RV campers They only list state campgrounds and have no unique info that I wouldnt find with a quick google search Really disappointed
Very beautiful Very cool app
Although this app has some really good photographs within it it is still a huge disappointment It would be nice if this app provided information regarding specific trails climbing areas etc rather than general info you can get from a quick google search Additionally this app only has a fraction of the national parks monuments Disappointing
Being national geographic I expect top quality maps photos advice etc The free info with map integration is wonderful I used to have the national parks hd app which was outstanding This is as close to that as it gets I think paying to marginal fee for the complete set of these guides is a real value I paid more then 14 for one guide 10 years ago in paperback and Id usually buy 5 or 6 for each trip Ive come to realize its worth paying for some things People tend to complain now days when they actually have to pay an artist or adventurer for something that is actually valuable and took time and resources to create This app looks beautiful And Its nice to not have advertising bars popping up all over the screen like on many free apps as well Even without paying for the expanded content its worth having My 2 cents Love it
This app is full of advertising which if youre not careful and you tap with fingerprint sensor could result in a purchase of the numerous guides Information is an overview and standard Caution as lots of sales guides

My wife and I wanted to explore our countries beautiful parks and this app was perfect We did 5 parks in one year and did them in national geographic style Only thing I could wish for would be more maps for different parks like the great sand dunes in Colorado or the Adirondacks in NY I would gladly purchase them Stop being so cheap people Great adventuring was had through this app

Horrors The beautiful contour maps are gone along with trails streams bridges buldings trail intersections miles and loads of other useful information If I want aerial photographs I can go to Google Earth Im deleting the app It is of almost no value Boo NG Boo Big Disappointment
Spent 13 for guides for all the parks and it is a waste of money The activities they suggest are no brainers go on a picnick drive this scenic road etc I was hoping for insights on specific trails and sights suggestions for the better areas to see but the suggestions provided are very generic Disappointed Pass on the Full Guide Purchase
Im a hiker and backpacker I purchased the app because it had info on most of the big parks I want to visit What they dont tell you is how little info they give you in the app Then they charge you 1400 for the full guide to all the parks Well I got suckered into that one only to find out that they give you barely any additional info despite the larger sum Save your money and visit the park service website where you can download all the info you want for free and itll have all the latest info you need as well Dont waste your money
In my school we are doing a national parks project and we have to make a scrap book And of course Im doing acaida cuz maine is my favorite place in the world so I hope this has a lot of facts I can use Btw I love national geo and I play a computer game by them ANIMAL JAM Hope it helps

Youd think clicking on a trail would bring up a trail guide and not just a single pin 2 too much
This App is crap It covers 13 of the National Parks and none of the monuments battlefields recreation areas etc The fact that National Geographic has the balls to charge for this is apalling Stay away Dont give them your money for this inferior product Try instead Passport to your National Parks a FREE App I will delete this one so I can put something useful on my phone Are you kidding
Would have given more stars but there is not a single park listed in your guide that is within a days drive from my house Their are at least three major parks within 24 hours and none are listed What gives Originally gave three stars had to downgrade when I saw how much was charged for info you can get for free from the national park site Really should focus on little visited parks and give info that is hard to come by Finally added one of the parks in my state but have ignored all other near me Why does Utah get all the attention while many other states get little to none Missing out

Many national parks have very limited cell coverage within their boundaries Yellowstone is a prime example Were currently visiting and this makes your app all but useless No way to download maps to device

This app has something for pretty much anyone in a national park We have used it for a one day trip to Bryce Canyon and a two week intimate excursion in Zion It has some good suggestions for great photos and is a great reference for what facilities are where Its easily worth a few bucks to have a handy reference in your pocket Great reference

Every time I turn the phone sideways to view the pictures better the app essentially freezes It still functions but barely App is broken
Went to Mount Rainer park the other day thought Ill use that national park app I got but no Many of the features require phone service to work particularly the maps to find where to go Youd think that Nat Geo could include a built in map but apparently not Inside the park theres basically no service so the app was useless Needs service to work

Best app on my ipad It helped me plan a ten day solo excursion camping trip for my first trip to Big Bend It would be better if there were more pictures but what it has is amazing I never would have known what to see without it Planned ten day solo camping trip to Big Bend with this app
Never was able to download all the pictures Emailed National Geo apps support three times they never responded This app is all about pictures so sad I cant see Eight of them Wonder what else is missing Disappointing

The inapp purchase for Yellowstone was a total disappointment The content is super basic and thin There where only three photo tips THREE National Geographic makes this app right The apps map feature faios to show photo opportunities on the map despite advertising this feature Likewise there were only a few basic things listed to see or do Its YELLOWSTONE for Gods sake where there are endless thing to seedo but you wont learn about theme here I would have been disappointed with this app if it was free let alone an inapp purchase for only a couple basic pages Totally disappointed National Geographic should be ashamed Total disappointment waste of
I bought the full park guide thinking it would unlock more info It doesnt It just gives you access to a few pictures The app doesnt seem to get updated with new content either Not worth the money at all even if you just buy one park The app would have a lot of potential with more offline content and more unique park information then just some pictures Not worth the in app purchase
If youre looking for a total park guide this is not it Yes the pictures that are included are nice but the guide is light on the info Also there arent many parks Not Enough parks and too little info

This app has approximately 30 parks but there are over 50 National Parks Missing Theodore Roosevelt National Park despite its well recognized and respected biking trails Missing Several Parks
I havent been able to use this app for a full minute without it freezing and becoming completely unresponsive Doesnt work
