App is well organized and good for looking up information on countries but basically just links to the Wiki site for each country and city           Basically links to Wikipedia

It is a good one But i found one mistake When i clicked Georgia the google map showed me a state Georgia USA It wont be happy for citizens in Georgia Just sayin Beside that ot is good app              Good

This app is really efficient at letting you quickly learn the basics about the countries of the world If youre in a conversation with friends and want to look up some detail quickly or if youre watching the news and want to know where some country is on the map this app makes it super simple Much better than rummaging through web search results on your phone Excellent product overall and its free to boot It doesnt get much better than that                 Great for quick research on the go

This app is missing the country of Puerto Rico Please add it Thanks           Puerto Rico

Not bad but all it does is show you a flag of the country and then redirects you to Wikipedia           ehh

A previous reviewer voiced a qualm over the socalled politics of the app developer because they listed Tel Aviv as the capital of Israel However this is based on Google Maps If the reviewer had dug just a bit deeper and opened the entry on Israel they would have found that the Wikipedia entry on Israel lists Jerusalem as the capital The problem the viewer expressed is with the content not the app Overall this is a simple well designed app that makes great use of free content        Handy app

For those based on technicisms know that Puerto Rico has a Constitution National Anthem a Flag and a Goverment of its own Puerto Rico is recognized as an autonomous commonwealth in association with the US We are recognized in the International Olympic Committee as a nation PUR On the other side some AMERICANS doesnt consider Puerto Rico as part of the US so well Are we are a country or not Put the us in the list as Nation When we become State or Independent the you can review and update this thing GRACIAS PS And fix the Israel and Georgia thing foe Gods sake           Puerto Rico is a Nation

Nice feature good for quiz prep It can show countries exclusive to a continent say all the countries or capitals of Africa Sorts alphabetically by name and displays flag and capitol but as others have noted there are a few errors that need to be corrected Note 1 I believe that the app is technically correct in not displaying Puerto Rico as it is not an independent country but rather a commonwealth whose inhabitants have repeatedly voted to remain as a part of US Territory Some Puerto Ricans may think differently about this Note 2 However the app is wrong about the capital of Israel since Israel proclaimed Jerusalem as its capital way back in 1950 but the US like all other countries maintains its Embassy in Tel Aviv Palestinians may disagree about this though Note 3 Sri Lankas Capital is Colombo while Sri Jayawardenapura Kotte is the administrative Capitol i dont think anyone disagrees and this kind of thing is easy enough to fact check Note 4 Georgia links correctly to the country not the state Source CIA World Fact Book              Simple to use and straight forward

Jerusalem is the capital of Israel not Tel Aviv As a country of several million people it has more than one city When politics rule a simple geography app something is wrong What other inaccuracies are there     Educator

This app is really handy if you are into geography I find it really good to learn capital cities I just scroll down the list of capitals till I see one I dont recognize I really like the way the wikipedia tiein is handled Very smooth and you wont get lost in surfing Its also good for learning flags Maybe a quiz mode might be nice                 Great simple app that is well done

I love the fact that you can pick any country and focus on that particular country with the awesome zoom feature for details Just plain awesome and educational for sure Love this app and wouldnt care for any other at the moment Good job guys                 Awesome app

The Google map of Georgia the US state showing up under the flag of Georgia the country is somewhat disconcerting and we could go on about IsraelTel Aviv All in all a pretty handy little app To the reviewer who wanted to see the country of Puerto Rico that would take literally an act of the US Congress Its where it should be on the Google map just to east of the Dominican Republic              Good Start

My 8 9 year old children find it vey handy Since the content is fetched from a reliable source I am not too bothered about its authenticity                 Useful
