I have a lot of news apps this is by far the most annoying multiple pop up ads and they are not easy to close without somehow clicking on yet another annoying ad On top of that its slow to load I usually give up before I get to the news I m looking for Just terrible     Worst news app Gina 2220

When the app opens you have to close 3 pop up ads none of which close until tapping the X multiple times When viewing an article there s an ad every 2 3 sentences I understand that advertising is the only way for a newspaper to survive in the digital era but the over bombardment almost makes this app unusable     Too many ads 726378

The App Store says this app takes 23MB but my phone says it uses over 400MB which may incentivize me to delete it I miss the black background but I can deal with that and the ads but the storage usage is too high The competition only takes up 68MB and you probably know to whom I am referring I love The Advocate and I get the daily paper delivered so I don t need the app even if convenient when I am out of town         Massive MB usage Anonyrn

I love the updated app It gives you the feel of the newspaper with the convenience of online news You can literally read the newspaper online now as it is printed or if you prefer you can read it as any other online news app I would also add that this is great for people who love to read the paper but whose eyesight is not as good as it once was There are multiple ways to enlarge the print the way you like to read the paper Kudos to the staff for creating this very user friendly app                     Best Newspaper App Available Clif6677

I have the print version delivered daily and look forward to my quiet time with my Advocate and a cup of New Orleans blend coffee chicory each day but it s so nice to get up to the minute news on my phone Also it s handy to lookup a story I may have missed or something I hear others talking about I love the Advocate                     I LOVE the Advocate Catrollo
