Uninstalled this app specifically due to the fact that every time an eyebrow was lifted in the Holly Bobo murder trial it was classified as BREAKING NEWS and thus immediately pushing a notification to my phone I would literally get a notification about that trial every hour for over a week Nobody cares Classify your news appropriately EVERYTHING IS BREAKING NEWS TheMan!!!!!

I love News Channel 5 In twenty two years I have seen only one story that was poorly handled That one piece was based on a parent s account of a school employee mistreating her child The person she accused is one of the three most amazing teachers I have worked with in my forty seven years Other than that situation you are on point You approach us openly professionally and in the most confidential manner possible Many of you are aware that a number of us are occasionally physically and verbally assaulted by children as was the person covered in the referenced story usually students whom we recognized as needing a great deal of help We always tried very hard to involve the families the school and outside professionals as well After all as you know every child deserves a proactive TEAM approach socially emotionally and academically Only One Thing to Improve AUBebbie

This version is terrible I never review apps but I had to put in my comments The old app was 100 times better Im deleting this version It doesnt load right the content is unorganized And its slow Such a disappointment Deleting this app

This new version is confusing at best Most of the articles come off as barely extended headlines I really like News Channel 5 broadcasts This doesnt even seem it is being put together by the same people who have won so many awards Stay with what worked

First off this app is rather buggy It is slow to load pops up large adds and worst of all keeps making my iphone 4 crash Also news channel 5 is really not a good news source anyway In the news section there is lots of annoying sports stories and and pop culture garbage NC5 is the first one to bring up distracting and often irrelevant information such as race and the last one to give real facts Also their habit of inserting alleged in front of any allegation that does not fit their agenda is aggravating Not to mention their comments section are simply a group of trolls most notably bob cole Do yourself a favor download WKRN or if you still want to read nc5 use the website Mediocre app worse new reporting

I had the previous version of this app and it worked great for me When it updated it went bad I rarely even try to use it now because its a pain in the butt HORRIBLE

This used to be a good app It has become less useful and more difficult to use with each revision Now when you click on Read more to read the story it places a preview of the video over the text you are trying to read The preview moves up and down the page as you scroll the text and prevents you from reading the story in an in your face effort to make you watch the video And I dont like the Trending stuff People want local news and weather The weather displays so small you cant see it Awful
Its been really sad to see my favorite news network here in Nashville fall from grace but it did it sure did Ever since they have changed the look of their website and app to the awful cluttered and distracting design it is now I have stopped using them This app is slow as is there website and I pray someone from the network sees this because they dont care to respond to my emails Whatever this JRN company is clearly is drowning news channel 5 News Channel 5 is only hurting themselves
