I ve paid my subscription I set up my account ID and password and now they won t accept my ID PW The PW reset feature doesn t work I ve done the reset process 20 times they are supposed to send reset instructions to my email They have not sent a single reset email I haven t seen an app this bad in over 10 years     Worse app HatesValet
The share functionality of the app doesn t work even remotely correctly If I want to share an article with someone I have to go to the Newsweek website and find the link there If I were able to share articles normally this app would definitely have 5 stars             Decent app with one major flaw Nick Anderegg

The latest app upgrade has eliminated the ability to view in landscape orientation The app is now useless on a flight where one uses the seat back tray to rest the iPad for viewing in landscape mode Flights are where many users catch up on periodicals Please fix this     Landscape View No Longer Avaiable

I recently download the new application concurrent with a new subscription I have one issue with the app after a week not all content orients to my iPad position I have not experienced any issues reported by other users If any issues arise with continued use I will update my review              New to the app
Still a good read but overwhelmed by the apps shortcomings 4 days gone by since new issue came out Cant download Signed out tried to sign in cant Not the first time E mailed customer service but they either will not respond or will take several days Called customer service they said tech support needed They had several calls like mine but tech support enjoying the weekend off Asked for refund of one issue told tech support could only do that Electronic delivery only website not working You would think a news organization might address it in a timely manner If there is a breaking news story do your reporters take the weekend off Too bad a once good product is been taken over by give a crap morons No wonder 15 stares it would be lower if reviewers could give zero     Bad app bad customer service

I have subscribed to many magazines through iPad I cannot get this one to work I followed all the instructions under the frequently asked questions and I cannot get it to work     I want my 25 back

I have been a loyal Newsweek subscriber since ny freshman year in college Sept 1966 Almost 50 years In the past decade I have watched this magazine go downhill I didnt think it could get worse but it has The online app is terrible Many many things wrong with it It has all time worst since the new update Now it no longer gives me access to issues I have purchased My subscription ends tomorrow I am delighted to say that no way will I renew     Newsweek has hit the bottom

The redesigned app makes for a much better experience The downloads are available on a solid schedule and the login issues seem to be solved                 Much improved

As others have said fine content but uncaring staff when the poorly designed software fails to recognize a subscription or fails to download the latest issue Dont subscribe through ITunes or Amazon because the publishers cares even less about youif that is really possible Xxxyyyzzz     Ripoff

Ive been a Newsweek subscriber for 20 years my current subscription expires in 2017 When Newsweek stopped the print edition my hope was the app or customer service would improve I have been able to download a magazine for weeks Ive yet to be able to speak to someone or even get an email from someone addressing the problem I am having              Love the magazine hate the app

Changing from paper to digital could have been a great opportunity for Newsweek unfortunately they did it half aed Service is poor and the app is full of the same bugs it has had since I first started subscribing 2 years ago        Unfortunate evolution
Good magazine improved app but still not completely fixed About every second or third time I try to access the current issue I have to delete the app and reload it At least it remembers my subscription now Also have to delete and reload the app if I havent finished the current issue and tell it not now when notified of a new issue Occasionally I can bring up the Library and select a different issue but mostly not When I am ready for the new issue it appears on the Newstand but clicking on it takes me back to the previous one        John Worsley

Why do many businesses continue to release products before they are tested This APP is one of the most bug worthy applications I have ever downloaded and used On the second issue I downloaded the APP Crashed I was unable to do anything to the APP I could not swipe and move pages I could not find the already difficult to find home pageI could not even finish the already downloaded previous weeks articles Nothing Now I need to fight Apple for my money back The 1 edition of the magazine I was able to download but only read half Maybe I will receive half of my 499 This is a great News magazine Horrible technology     Horrible APP

I have had this App through multiple iterations originally from Newsweek and now through iTunes and Newsstand Multiple times including currently the app has lost my account I am signed out and cannot download new issues Things I have had to do before such as restore purchases have not helped I was excited with the latest upgrade in October because the app looked much better I could actually get to all of the articles which I could not previously If they cannot resolve their technical issues I will no longer renew my subscription        Repeatedly Loses Account

I was a print subscriber for 30 years but the delivery of the electronic edition has been awful Its just not worth the trouble anymore I have several other digital subscriptions that work well so I barely have any print magazines any more But Newsweek has continually given me conflicting account information limited access to the subscription I paid for and doesnt seem to even get the concept that they have some responsibility to deliver what was paid for I still have time left but I just cant spend the time to get it fixed Good bye Newsweek     Have had it with Newsweek

Without a doubt the worst online publication out there Repeatedly I have difficulty signing in no recognition of my password even when I go through the process of changing it and little or no support available Now I cant sign in my library has disappeared and finding support is a mystery If they cant handle an online journal they need to stick with the print version At least the USPS is reliable     Bad App Bad Service

I had mixed feelings about the old Newsweek app Ultimately I decided it was OK even with its shortcomings The new app has some nice features a reasonable index remembers last read page better captions marks page progress My major problems are that navigation is limited to individual pages and inability to go to a landscape view I like gestural scrolling Its natural for tablets I realize that landscape viewing would be tough to do dynamically Could be modal Makes reading during breakfast much easier           Too Page Oriented
Cant log in Says my email address cannot be found Probably because I bought it through the Apple store and never signed up with an emailed Paid for an entire year and cant read anything I paid for Thank goodness iTunes sent me an email saying the auto renew was about to happen Tried again still cant get logged in There is ZERO customer support I tried to contact them and couldnt get a person a message said that if I signed up for the digital version I had to solve this digitally On my own again guess Ill look for a news source with a good app     25 for nothing

Absolutely horrible Half the time the issues dont even get delivered Havent gotten on in 3 weeks in fact Customer service never responds either Oh the part where they take your money works just fine always       
Like some of the other reviewers I was not able to login after the update None of my email addresses worked for the password reset and I couldnt get CS to return help requests However I started messing around and discovered if you click on the little gear icon in the top right corner and click on Restore All Purchases you will get back all the old magazines you paid for and the download button for the new issue will be enabled Minus two stars for being a pain in the backsideon a positive note the new format looks good           Problem solved
