NextStop - NYC Subway

First time I installed it it worked on the phone but not in the Watch I wrote customer service and they wrote me back right away Very helpful suggestions and it now works great Just had to delete from phone and reinstall it                 Works great

Highly not recommended for this version It removed the schedule button I can not plan my trip any more Please put it back        Used to be very good

Screens have weird transition effects that strain the eye It looks as if the transitions are broken as one screen overlaps the other and for a second both screens can be seen one on top of the other before the previous screen disappears The new dark blue on black menu options are also an eye sore The only thing that looks better is the app icon As other reviewers have mentioned you can no longer choose a departure time I never used this feature before because I also found it weird that you can only view future times on a specific line and not for an entire station in the old app If they bring back the ability to choose a time they should have for a specific line and also after clicking the map and selecting a specific station to see all trains           Ugly UI changes

It tell me the train coming in 10 minutes Im walking to the train and 10 minutes aint even past yet missed a couple of train cause this app     Hate this app

Doesnt update the lines claiming to be real time with any accuracy     Updates for real time lines are never accurate

The map and schedules app need to be updated to include the J serving Broad St and Fulton St fulltime Otherwise the app is very good                 Updated Schedule

Just purchased this and tried for the first time for 7 train at Queensboro plaza and train arrival time wasnt right at all        Inaccurate arrival

Im writing this review while waiting for the train that was supposed to be here 10 min ago and am reflecting on all the times this app has been wrong and am regretting buying this app     Never acurate after update

Ive had this app since my iPhone 4 currently have a 6 and its a shame that Ive just gotten around to review this awesome app I look like a wizard whenever Im with someone and I can predict when the train is coming because of this app Arrival times are 95 accurate which is very impressive given how inconsistent the subways are Highly recommend                 Easily the most useful app on my phone

The Most Frustrating App Ever Its always wrong for the Q and the B trains Off by 10 minutes or more Unreliable Useless     Nextstop frustration

Would be much improved if it showed the next 23 trains due on your favorite line It shows only the next which is problematic if you know youll miss that one as you are none the wiser about when the NEXT one will come           Good Could be great

Im waiting for 15 min for a train that was supposed to be here 14 minutes ago     Does not work

This app is not able to accurately tell you when the train is coming It even tells you a train is coming that is not even running Imagine my irritation to wait for the M only to figure out that is stopped running at 9pm when the app said it will arrive in 8 min 20 minutes and 3 F trains later I gave up     Dont Work

I really enjoy this app and been having it for over a year It helps take the guess work out of my morning commute because I have a couple different options of trains I can take in This app lets me know the quickest route to the office              Great app Very useful

As the other reviews state I was a big user of the future time feature which has since been removed This feature allowed me to see if a transfer train would be arriving around the same time as the current train I was on Since that feature has been removed this app has become just the same as all the other Transit time apps If we could at least get a reason or explanation as to the Future Time features removal or an alternate way to achieve the same functionality I would consider reevaluating my current rating of the app But until then        Time Button removal

I used to love Next Stop but something is terribly wrong for the past two weeks every single time I try to open it it crashes My updates are current Ive tried closing both the app and my iPhone but it makes no difference I get kicked out Please advise I need for this app to work thanks If resolved Id give you five stars but I cant even get in     Crashing All The Time

I bought this app because I thought it would be useful to have the arrival time for my train ahead of time It was a waste of money First this app is often inaccurate Second the nyc subway app which is free also gives the arrival times for trains It is also more accurate and will allow you to see the arrival times for all trains at a particular station as well as get directions from a station to your final destination This app only shows you the arrival time for the next train and only one train line at a time If youre at Times Square and want to take the next train out you have to pick the train line and then Times Square to see the arrival time and then repeat the process for each train On the other hand the free nyc subway app will show you all the trains at Times Square and all the arrival times on one screen which makes it soooo much easier to figure out which train to take Bottom line save your money and get the free better app     Save your money

This app is not GPSbased You have to add and subtract double the minutes from the arrival time It says 5 minutes away Thats anything between 10 minutes away and 10 minutes since it left Dont walk run away from paying for this app     Not even kind of accurate

Ever since upgrading to iOS 8 this app will no longer notify you of delays or service problems even when you have everything turned on Very upsetting multiple instances where there were service alerts and I didnt hear about it until getting down in the way and therefore being late to work     iOS 8 Breaks Push Notifications

Love this app but since yesterday morning it has been crashing Fix it           KEEPS CRASHING

This is the first app I ever bought bc I heard it was good I always get the free apps but tried this one out It rlly just shows the schedules times witch is pretty useless bc u can see that online I rlly wanted an app that shows how far the train is This app says that are diff colors and grey is the scheduled time and green is the updates time but the stations I use are never green Pretty useless but I wish it was better     Expected more

I dont know how this all works but I take the 23 train every morning and this clock is never accurate Im talking about at least 2 minutes off Even after work at Penn Station the ties dont match up to the times in the station Its accurate for some other lines but not the one I use the most Any reason for that Would be the best app if it was accurate Especially in the absurd summer heat           Clock not accurate

It works well But have no real use for as it I have to wait for the train which is usually less 7 min I would like this app more if it let me select a station and send notifications for me in the morning with train schedule So that I dont have to wait in the stations or not miss a train              Great app saves time

On some trains I notice it doesnt always come when it says but its usually by 12 minutes behindahead of schedule Now this is obviously not the fault of the app but the delays that people cause from holding doors open on the train I take the DNQB often and those pretty much come when they say they will                 Simple app does what it says

I use this every day to check for delays before I walk to the subway There are many other apps and web sites that do the same thing but this one seems to work the best Thanks developers                 My goto app

If you live in NYC you should know how much we love our MTA This app made my life easier on many occasions It has ETA for trains and its spot on and it doesnt even matter if you have service or not it will still give you the info you need All the delay alerts were always accurate Also you can see each and every stop for any line AND on top of it itll show you which stopped will be skipped due to whatever circumstances Love it Thanks guys                 MUST HAVE

You took away the option to see train times in the future All thats available now is the next arriving You have rendered this paid app useless Fix immediately please        Downgrade

This app shows the same inaccurate times that the MTA lists on their schedule So really its the MTAs schedule that has little relationship to reality Why the MTA cant implement accurate train tracking for all the lines has been a mystery to me particularly in this age of GPS Wifi cellular data etc Anyway the bottom line is that the arrival times of trains is fairly worthless But the app has a very well designed interface I think when the MTA gets their act together dont hold your breath smart phone transport apps will be great not barely useful like this one is           Inaccurate arrival times but good interface

I really like this app it shows the scheduled times that the trains are supposed to arrive and what lines are at each station Sadly its not real time because NYC hasnt implemented that capability but its still really helpful I wish they would offer directions between two places like iTrans NYC                 Could be better but still great

Pretty good but frustrating at times For example the app may say that C train will be at your stop in 10 minutes and again in 50 minutes But then if you refresh it 5 minutes later it will show a C train arriving in 25 minutes as well Why wouldnt this train just show up in the first place        Frustrating at times

If you want something that will count down from 10 minutes secondbysecond this is the app for you If you want something that will reliably predict when a train will arrive this is not that app     Dont buy

Pleeeeeeease bring the clock back Thats what made this app great and better than the others I could check ahead of time if I would reach a connecting train I was also able to see what the next train and maybe avoid the current crowded train I dont know who suggested to remove it but just bring it back please Thanks     Time clock
