I like how you can right click on the time and change it to a new value for those times when you want to add more time to a previously timed event Customizability is limited to a handful of presets It would be better if it worked like the Terminal app where you can set the color and opacity of the text and the background independently to any color you want The app icon should reflect a digital timer instead of an analog timer The main display is not quite vertically centered The numbers should be moved up a bit                 Pretty good Doesn t look like garbage like literally every other timer available Kris Hunt

It would be fantastic if I could hide the hour part of the 00 00 00 clock when the time is 1 hr It takes up space and isn t as minimalist as it could be But really otherwise perfect Also an option to make text even smaller would be cool I like using it in the corner of my screen so as small and unnoticeable the better Really great app                     Literally perfect EXCEPT gav2121423

The developer is amazing I use this tool while delivering training because it can be scaled to the size I need and it s easy to use After the roll out of macOS Sierra the app stopped working I sent an email to the developer and received a response within minutes that included a work around until the next update to be released in a few days He even checked back to make sure everything worked out I am looking forward to the new update and will continue to use apps from this developer                     Very responsive developer and great tool john78259

My see several shortcomings with this timer It dones not always stay in front of all windows I don t lke the fact that I have to click and open another dialoge box and the click again to change the duration of the timer I would like the ability to just immediately enter a different time then click start It does not remember the position on the screen Every time I open it it goes to the middle not where I placed it I want it stay where I place it             It s okay ClairDC

Nice Timer is a useful little app that does one thing puts a little floating window on your screen wherever you need it It s easy to set launches quickly and has a minimal attractive design I use it regularly to make sure I don t get bogged down in email Without it I would open my email to write one important reply but end up wading through all the other mail afterwards spending far too much time The developer has been responsive to problems and even added a feature to allow a customizable repeat to the alarm                     Attractive reliable little timer keeps me on track tookmyname

A very simple app for timing activities while I work and one that I don t need the sound for to be alerted by you can choose to have the timer be always on top of other apps so it s in your face I am interested in the soon to come 10 styles and more however That and it s cost for it being such a simple program which admittedly isn t much is why I gave it four stars I ll change that if the new additions make it more appealing and especially if I can get visual warning flashes on the clock window within 10 seconds of time being up                 Just what I was looking for kairologic

Nice idea but missing a couple of essential features for me Option to use spacebar to start stop the timer while in stopwatch mode and Ability to count fractions of a second in stopwatch mode I should ve looked at the most recent release date before I purchased as it seems like this may no longer be in active development and improvements won t be coming any time soon         Seems to be abandoned fengypants

The nice timer app has a lot of wonderful things about it 1 It s got a great sleek yet minimalist design 2 It is so simple to use and it gets the job done So many clock apps in the app store come up short and don t have a timer option Some things I would want to see added to nice timer 1 The option to minimize the timer When I m doing work on my computer it s sort of annoying to have the timer in your face the whole time Even if I open a new window on my internet browser I can t cover the timer Having the timer always in your face can be distracting to some people so having the simple option to minimize it just like most other apps would make it a lot more useful I mean it s just nice to have that simple option 2 The alarm which indicates that the timer is finished starts and ends very quickly If they could make it so it can keep ringing until you turn it off I think it would be better Sometimes my computer may be on low volume and if the timer goes off I may not hear it since the alarm for the timer is so quick So if they could have one simple setting where the alarm keeps going off until you turn it off it would be better 3 I would like to see a few more options for different alarm sounds for when the timer ends Not too many just something LOUDER than the current alarm The purpose of a timer is to get your attention when it is done and the current alarm for doing that is definitely not alarming enough it hardly gets my attenion I don t think they need to do anything fancy like sync itunes with the timer because adding too much to this app would ruin its simple and sleek design Just add like 2 or 3 alarm options you can choose from and make sure one of them is a loud bell sound or a siren sound 4 When choosing the amount of time I want to set the alarm for it would be nice to be able to just type in the number instead of having to scroll all the way to the number manually Sometimes I want to change my timer from 20min to 50min and it s pretty absurd that I can t just backspace the 20 and type in 50 I always have to manually scroll 30 units Don t get me wrong I LOVE this app it just needs a little push in the right direction             Could be a lot better with some simple modifications alioxnfree

This app is all style no substance it offers very little in the way of execution and solid user experience It s attractive and out of the way enough sure but for what it is given it s price point I expected a more polished experience The actual timing feature works well enough though I d like the ability to change to sound of the alarm to something as simple as the interface itself And about the interface aesthetically it s nice functionally it s pretty weak and a little glitchy The timer fades in on hover with the opacity down which is a great touch Setting the timer is tedious done in increments of one it s brings to mind setting kitchen appliance clocks Presets increments other than 1 or actually being able to type in the fields would have been super Another irksome oversight in small mode expanding the timer always expands upwards and to the right making it near useless in small mode if keep in the upper right hand corner Besides that design quirk whenever I switch to large mode set a time move the timer then go to switch the time again the timer pops back to it s initial position and then usually back to where I set it on clicking back Revised Even if the price were 1 it would be hard to recommend 2 stars maybe 3 at 1 If any of these issues are addressed in future updates I will gladly amend my review to reflect as much EDIT I ve also discovered that multiple timers are not possible unless I can t figure out how to activate them Not a big deal for me except while it doesn t appear to advertise such a feature in the description it definitely suggests it in the app screenshots Again it s a matter of the price point versus features polish that bothers me here EDIT And more glitches The interface permanently disfigures in large mode when switching between 2 displays and switching in and out of small mode something necessary when reconciling another glitch I ve thus amended my review from 2 stars to 1 star It s not the sort of thing that should exist in a limited app at this price point     All style no substance J.D. I like this timer because it is very simple and looks pretty nice Many of the other timers have a less attractive text type of window interface It might be convenient to be able to just click on the display to pause start timer rather than clicking on the pause start icon Also it would be better if the opacity control only adjusted the background and not the actual displayed digits But works great for me and I haven t seen one I like better                     Nicest timer for my needs ZestyTrek

I ve been needing to set a time limit on my internet surfing and wanted a simple countdown timer to help keep track I wanted something always there and ready to use but not in the way This is just what I was looking for I keep it on all the time dimmed a little and parked down in the lower left corner of my screen ready for activation when needed I just keep it programmed for the same time limit all the time and start and stop when needed A little tweak that would be nice a resizable timer by dragging the edges like a regular window There is a choice of large or small though so not a problem really It would also be nice to have an option to have the timer in the actual menu bar                     Simple and Useful Timer classic dash
